Having to return back into the house shortly after his training Grave was breathing heavily still tired until hearing a knock at the door. Sighing heavily to this noise of a pattered knocked that would repeat itself once every three second paused. This cause Grave to sigh lightly coming to the door to see whom it was. As he opened it slowly his eyes were left with shock as it was his grandfather whom finally decided to show up after a while of them not seeing each other. Grave paused for a moment taking two steps back with fear in his body shivering from head to two. The mask was off his face with luck as he had placed it within the vault just in case it was someone that was coming for him. Walking in his grandfather looked at his grandson holding his priest staff. It was about the same as Graves the only difference was the rings on it were silver and gold mix.
"So… this is where you have been hiding out. Because you got yourself some power and rank you decided to leave on your own leaving behind your family is that it Asakura Grave!" Grave jumped to his sense as though gravity suddenly became heavier he fell to his knees bowing to his grandfather begging for forgiveness. "Grandfather… no its not like that I swear its completely different I'm still loyal to Kumo and the Asakura family… I…" Being stopped by his grandfather whom turned to glance at the house his grandson was living in. " I understand just what it is, you have left the village to set in play your own goals. Trust me I completely understand it's something your father once tried to do with your mother. But I stopped them both in their tracks. But you are different that is truly for sure. Like your mother and like your father you hold dreams they could not fulfill I shall allow this one time. Any other time I would not allow it. So please do not screw this up at all."
Grave glanced upward at the elderly man whom was staring down at him with a smile. Thinking to himself that his grandfather was going to sneak out attack him. Grave stayed on the ground more relaxed but allowing his body to be ready for any kind of attack that may happen to him. Grave's grandfather turned to look around the house saying, "Rise boy…I do not have time for you to be playing honor bullshit we have important matters to take a hold to." Grave lifted his head up slowly confused for a moment as he rose to see his grandfather, "What seems to be the problem or issue I should say that has you coming looking for me?" His grandfather sighed lightly saying, "Simple…you have to escort someone from the Asakura Manison to the location of Kusa… this is a matter of upmost importance cause of the legendary ghost s of the fallen clan." Grave raised an eyebrow saying, "Okay…but still I do not see why you or I cannot just seal them?"
The attack Grave was sensing from the beginning passed him up as he took a hit to the head. Falling onto his back Grave's eyes were dazed with pain as he blinked for a moment to recover. "Listen boy…I'd go if possible however I have to stay in Kumo and watch the mansion. Second you cannot cause you do not possess the power nor the seal to counter and banish over 100 ghostly warriors. You are still in training in my books. Besides…how many have you sealed lately. I could have sworn not that much cause considering you are wondering around." Walking over gracefully then padding his grandson on the stomach, "Have you at least been eating or taking better care of your self. I mean really you look like you're nothing but skin and bones boy."
Grave closed his eyes sighing lightly, he was only skin and bones cause he's exhausted a large amount of chakra trying to control the Nibi's powers. Sitting up slowly Grave showed a curious glance with his eyes wondering whom was the person he'd needed to escort to the area of Kusa Country. Continuing to think whom the person would be it was still unknown to him but shaking his head to let the thought escape. "Okay Okay, I'll take better care of myself but also who's the person I need to be taking to this location anyway?" Soon a sweet loving tone came from behind the young male. "That… would be me Asakura Grave." Grave's eyes widen to the voice and slowly tried not to look but his body froze in place when the female's hand was placed on his right shoulder.
Feeling as his body was turning to ice Grave was unable to move for a bit before turning his eyes to the right seeing the face of the person. But the face of the person appeared on his left side whispering in his ear. "Did you miss me…my love?" Hearing the collective whisper that allowed the vibrations from her voice sent even more chills down his spine. After that his body felt like a block of ice as the female stood in front of him making eye contact. Grave's mouth was wide open as he was unable to say anything but lightly had to at least let her name escape. "A…A…Ayame…you're…here…wait…don't tell me…" His grandfather gave a light cough as the long haired brunette bowed with her green emerald eyes sparkling from the light of the house. Grave sighed heavily knowing what this meant.
Ayame was a shinobi from Kumo as well but she was adopted into the Asakura family because of her losing her parents to a rather rare disease that would shut down ones body leaving them in a coma like state. After first it was believed it was the work of evil spirits but it was not actually. So because of that grandfather took her under his wing and raised her like a daughter. But as for her mother and father they never recovered and died because she believed it was best to have them set free then be sealed on this plain. Having to play with her Grave knew the background of the girl quite well. The only problem was Ayame took up the last name Asakura because she was wanting to marry Grave in the future. But Grave had other plans on getting married as he rather be free to be him.
Shaking all the information that had been sealed up Grave hadn't seen her in almost three years because she had left to train with his mother in the mountains in the lightning country. Grave turned his attention to his grandfather whom handed a scroll saying, "You have several locations to you must escort Ayame to each one as she's learned the sealing techniques needed to get the job done with. I wish you both luck as well…Grave be on guard…there are still those that wish to obtain our secret of using the techniques that we have understood." Sighing heavily to this he nodded with that Grave and Ayame got things together heading out of the country. Grave sighed lightly as an hour had passed getting to the port city allowing them to set sail to their first location. Grave knew going through Taki would be easier for them allowing them to at least sneak pass some boarders without causing awareness. "Grave… can I ask you something?" Grave heard her voice again while they were on a boat and froze lightly trying to keep his mouth shut. "Suuuu…re…what is it Ayame?" Grave was still nervous around her because of her feelings.
Ayname had begun staring off at the ocean water saying lightly, "I'm…sorry you have to be stuck with me… I can be annoying sometimes but I did miss you… " Grave blinked eyes quickly for a moment to give her attention as the captain of the boat was nearing Taki's Port. "Well… I missed you too Ayname…I'm sorry for the way I've been acting I just have a lot of things on my mind is all." She started moving closer to him giving a hug to him that was warm and loving that cause the freezing feeling to just suddenly vanish from him. Blinking once more confused about his own emotions he forgot what it meant to actually care for another. Hugging her back the captain yelled out, "We made it to the port city sir." Standing up after several seconds of hugging, Grave got off the boat holding his hand out for her to grab on as he pulled her up onto the docks.
They finally continued onward to the location of where the sealing technique needed to be used. Grave was able to express himself more and help her with overcoming certain things that she was talking to him about that she kept a secret from even the Asakura main house. Only by the time they reached the bridge that allowed them to cross into the new country Grave tilted his head. "Interesting… I never thought we would actually make it. Doesn't seem like anyone is waiting for us either…" Soon three shadowed figures appeared across the bridge yet in the middle one wielded a staff like Grave's but only this time it had a small dagger like point at the tip of it. "Who are you?" yelled the voice from the certain. Grave quickly moved in front of Ayame saying, "We are from the lightning country… we were told to come and perform a ritual." The shadow figured stepped forward showing his face with short blonde hair and strange red eyes. The color of rubies to Grave but Ayame was still scared a bit.
" I see, please forgive me… we have been waiting for you wanting to make sure you are whom we believed." The man turned around waving his hand for them to follow. Nodding to this gesture Grave held onto Ayame's hand walking along the bridge until minutes passed allowing them to arrive at a strange grave site. "This is the location… locals have been saying strange beings have been coming from within wanting to absorb their life force. A few days ago we came to find out several children had passed then arriving at the village they were showing signs as though they had been drained of their life force. Though they survived we are trying to make sure nothing else worsens."
Grave nodded turning to see Ayame studying the pillars that guarded the walk way before she jumped back holding her hands. "No… wonder…" Grave was puzzled as well the other man. "What's wrong Ayame?" Grave asked curious as to what she found out. Suddenly with that she pulled out a scroll began writing down quickly a sealing technique placing six tags around her whispering several words for a ritual. As the tags lit up each taking a certain color flame the barrier formed around the pillars as though acting like a door. Before vanishing showing a strange keyhole before them only to slowly vanish like nothing was there. "There we go…that should do it. The spirits are reckless because of them wanting to be alive. So I sealed them from leaving the area until they are able to pass. It should take a day or so for them to pass on. After which the seal will detect it and allow others to enter."
Grave was left speechless as the other priest nodded saying, "Thank you very much… we owe you greatly." Ayame started blushing waving her hands. "Oh no its my job… but we have to get going to the next location for us to seal up. Please make sure everyone recovers as well the children." Bowing she began walking off as Grave bowed next leaving as well for the men to wave.
