The black spiral soon opened allow Grave to step out as he had thought of appearing at Mount. Raijin. Seeing the destruction of his own home made him almost shed a tear. Though the mission had begun as he knew what that meant. Placing his head band around his waist Grave took quickly running to the next location as to what was told to him. Lucky Grave remembered the map back when he was Ayame this made things a little eaiser as he knew that Oto Country was southeast of Mount Raijin. Thinking to himself the young shinobi was following a dirt path as he dove into the woods to travel by the trees making it easier hoping from branch to branch. 'This is still my home… I will not turn my back on it what so ever if anything… I have to keep pushing forward to reach my goal.' Grave though to himself as he was reminded of the battle that came before him as the war broke out.
Soon the echoing of the bijuu's voice came to him, 'Just what do you plan on doing. Grave…you seem very well wanting to help Kumo just like you wanted to help during the war but you do not have any way of helping yourself like last time so what would be the point of doing this now?' Grave nodded to this while in his inner mind to see the Nibi before answering the question, "Simple… I have to prove to myself that I can actually protect my country as well as Kumo If I cannot do that then I'm only lying to myself… Meaning I'll never be able to train anyone or help anyone nor be there to protect my friends…" Grave's emotions were finally coming out as he remembered how it felt to need help from others but wanting to help them in return even when it came to fighting the Nibi things seemed different back then to how they are now. After which the Nibi, did a small grunt saying, "Human you interested me but you push yourself to much you'll end up killing yourself and taking me down with you if anything." Grave thought about it and nodded to that as he walked over to the edge to jump with his mind opening back to where he was as he made the rat hand seal.
"I get what you mean…then let's try our best and fight till we have no limit, Hakke Fuin Taipu: Chen" As the seal was starting to repair itself slowly making him lock the beasts chakra once more Grave felt more relaxed allowing himself to be him as he jumped from branch to branch rushing to get there as fast as possible. Noticing something was off Grave stopped for a moment as he noticed something moving but turned behind to see three kunai's flying at him. Jumping to watch them stab into the branch with a small pieces of string hanging from them as they had exploding tags on them. Blowing up the branch Grave quickly crossed his arms to protect himself from the blast as he flew backwards sliding on the ground. He stopped himself by having his hands claw into the ground. Digging up the dirt Grave looked up noticing an Oto shinobi watching him from above. 'Great… right now I have to handle a person… well the mission said to suppress the shinobi forces to nothing.'
Grave stood up shaking his head watching the shinobi suddenly come at him attacking with a kunai pulled out but it seemed another shinob released one from behind as Grave dodged the first only to be struck in the back by the one from behind. The Oto shinobis smirked as Grave was struck down only to vanish in a cloud of smoke leaving nothing behind. "What how did he…wait when did he." Soon being struck from behind both shinobis fell to the ground as a slash was going across their backs with Grave holding his blade of trials. "I cannot believe I burned up that much chakra already… shit I really am getting weaker if I don't hurry up I'll be a sitting duck out here if anything." Grave quickly took note to that leaving the bodies behind a bush to hide as he darted off to the ground lines of the battle. Hearing explosions from the explosives tags and balls going off, the cries of even men yelling in pain, left Grave sighing lightly knowing he was getting into a lot of trouble with this mission. Arriving to the area where two were cornered Grave landed behind taking out two of the four shinobis that had them. As Grave nodded with the two corned killing the other Oto Shinobis that remained.
Grave found the shinobi that was in charge of the operations as he landed, "What's going on?" Grave yelled out as the shinobi was ducking down saying, "Simple they decided it was the best time to attack us from out of the blue, I'm guessing they are after something within the country but what I'm unsure of, with the whole kinjutsu scroll being stolen I'm not sure what is next to happen. By the way you are you?" Grave nodded to the man, saying, "Asakura Grave… I'm a priest when it comes down to it all but I'm a shinobi when it comes to protecting my country." The shinobi blinked for a moment saying, "A priest…here now… of all times well either way… wait you are from the Asakura Clan?!" The man's shock turned as Grave nodded to that looking over at the ones that began rushing in, "I do not have any long range techniques but I'm going to rush in keep me covered if you can please?" Grave smirked at the man as he shook his head understanding the reason behind it all.
Grave jumped up running into the battle but finished making his hand seals generating the armor around his clothes and the mask keeping him protected as kunais were begin thrown at him. The other shinobi kept cover of him reaching the main forces that were trying to get through. "What is that fool doing he's trying to take us all on, everyone be ready for using offensive jutsus!" Soon after telling his men that the Oto shinobi quickly yelled out as Grave had summoned his God of Earth that started crushing his forces. Holding his chakra together as Oto shinobi were getting thrown all over the place Grave jumped off the beast for a moment to land darting over towards commanding shinobi having them pinned down with the spirit blade aiming at his throat, "call…them off now!" Grave yelled at the shinobi. As they were starting to surround him, the Oto shinobi moved closer but were soon surrounded by the Kumo forces as well.
Grave's attention locked onto the Oto shinobi's eyes whom he could not allow to live no matter what but seemd to be holding himself back from giving the final blow. "Do as I say…or else you'll lose your life as well as your comrades!" Grave yelled once more as he could feel the drain of chakra on his body from the use of the techniques from before. Having the armor finally die down slowly allowing him to safe chakra the man gave in yelling out, "Fine…men stop the attack… do not attack anyone else!" The Oto shinoib stopped having heard the orders from their commander whom seemed to be at a blade point. Swallowing what was left of his pride the man tried to not give in to fear. But Grave picked him up forcefully handing him to another shinobi as he was breathing heavily from the exhaust of using chakra. Grave came to understand now that used up so much chakra during the rush that he became so careless with his own life. If he had saved the chakra from before the whole battle he'd be fine to do battle but it seemed that he failed himself for that point of view. Until the shinobi that was from before came to that Grave from the front lines. "Thank you Asakura Grave, I was unsure if you would have made through it all but because of your actions you gave me some hope in knowing you can do anything if you put your mind to it."
Grave thought about the words of the shinobi tilting his head only to break a smile, "Thank you sir, that actually means a lot to me… I think I need to head home now because you've helped me understand something about myself and that's what really matters to me." As Grave nodded to the shinobi the man bowed to him thanking him once against as Grave seemed to be able to see a calm side to himself looking up at the sky. Sighing Grave figured it was safe enough for him as he entered the woods walking down the dirt path once again. Several minutes had passed but the minutes seemed like hours as he came to the point that allowed him to see a fork in the road. Within that moment he shrugged taking the left way as he was heading back to his old home once again. "Nice..though I'm home it seems I need to be ready for the next part of the plans to begin."
Grave mumbled to himself as he placed his hands on the ground smiling feeling the earth once again. Sighing to this he took the time to reflect everything that has happen to him in the pass to this point. Smiling knowing what was truth now. Creating the needed hand seals he placed one palm on the ground speaking softly, "Open" With his soft voice speaking he sunk into the ground as he closed his eyes as the black portal closed up having him slowly float down to the sand once again. Placing one hand on it he quickly opened the portal once more to slowly step out with him walking out in his front room with everyone waiting for him. There he stood with a smile on his face smiling at everyone saying, "I'm home everyone!"
