Asura's Training (Close. Training Nexus Stats X7)

The events against the surprise attack came and went. With luck, the shinobi of Iwa had repelled the Akatsuki's forces. FOr Asura, the young ninja was still inexperienced and should of never had been forced to engage the enemy as he did. Still, having just ran would of guaranteed he would of been killed.

Now that the threat was over and things were recovering for the moment, Asura was back to his routine. And by routine-- involved back to his training. The good as well as the boring stuff. Master Roku didn't take kindly for when he would skill the lessons as a priest for the shrines the Jiin were responsible for. Asura had no cares to be a priest. It was not in his nature, and others knew it. He was more determined to be a ninja and his dreams of travel, but the Jiin had responsibilities as well.

Thus Asura was now stuck with a broom in his hand as he swept one of the shrine doorstep, steps and walkways. Roku watched from the foot of the shrine, enjoying a cup of tea.

"Master, this is cruel and unusual punishment!" Asura said, tempted to set fire to the broom.

Roku merely sipped his tea. "I hate to see how you handle being a prisoner of war should the worst come," he commented to himself. He watched as Asura gave a grumpy look, but continued the sweeping nonetheless.

After about an hour of cleaning, Roku felt Asura suffered enough. HE clapped his hands, gaining the youth's attention. "Alright. That's enough of the cleaning. Now we shall do some training," he said.

Asura sighed and lowered the broom. "Finally..." he said softly to himself.

With that, they headed for the training grounds, a mess of series of training dummies, pratice tools and obstacles meant for a shinobi to work with. Under ROku's guidance, Asura quickly took to them all, working up a sweat and sharpening his skills.
