Chapter 2: Jade & Fire: Enter Nobuyuki [Shizou Kekkai Genkai & Stats]

It was roughly around noon when the crow had sounded three times. Among the camp of Vagabonds, silence and stillness. The leader of the Vagabonds, Senju Heise, stood from his rock bed. He wore a half a leather garb, over a iron clan armor, over a basic purple garb. On his Right shoulder, a shoulder mount perched outward, mostly for design purposes. Over his arms he ward protected with arm guards, useful in blocking blades. His hair was long brown and was tied into a pony tail which fell behind him. Over his forehead the Sanada clan symbol, another senju sect that had broken off after the great disappearance of the Senju Clan.

Another crow sounded off. The trio knew something was about to happen and silence continued.
“I must say. This is an interesting group you have here.” A voice said. Perched up against an orchid tree sat a man with white hair pulled into a pony tail just as Heise’s own. His garb was also very similar in accordance with cloth materials and a Sanda crest on his sash. Heise immediately noticed it and aquatinted it to his own crest.
“That crest” Mei-Lee, the female Vagabond of the group muttered. She was the one emotionally attached to the leader and was also the medic of the team. Most speculated she was weak, but she was in fact just as strong if not stronger than Heise. Her only down fall was her less than small confidence in herself.

The man perched himself against the base of the tree and pulled a red apple from his pocket. Judging from the looks of the apple it was freshly picked and lush. The freshness was only more confirmed by the man bitting into the apple.
“You have that crest as well” He said through the chewing of his apple.
“His nodaichi, It’s longer than most” Shizou, the third and final Vagabond of the group. He was the more mysterious legend. He was a trained assassin with ties to no village. He’d fled Konoha after performing an assassination and was exiled. Rumors stated that Heise pulled strings to allow him to remain within the group and have free roam, within Konohagakure.
“You’re not the most talkative bunch are you?” The man said as he dropped his half eaten apple and picked up his nodaichi.
“Your blade is 5 feet?” Heise questioned. The man finally bowed and smiled.
“Ah so the monkey mouth sage speaks. No, my Blade is 6 feet” He grinned. Both Mei-Lee and Shizou began to reach for their weapons but Heise raised his right hand motioning for the them to stop. Heise reached for his own staff on the ground.
“Follow me.” Heise said.

Heise had led the man to an open valley with a jade green lake, presumably from the coral life that reseted at the bottom. Around the lake was a beautiful array of mountains and forestry, both which Heise was accustomed to. Heise moved gracefully to the center of the lake and the man followed behind tho giving him some space.
“Your crest. What do you know about it?” The man asked. Heise looked at his own crest and the shrugged.
“I don’t remembered” He replied while pointing his staff at the man. The man with the white hair grinned and unsheathed his blade. It’s design was just as magnificent as it length with waves coursing down it’s metal. Both launched themselves directly at each other trading blows with their weapons. The man had a slight advantage using both the sheath and the blade, but the length in Heise’s staff made up the difference. Heise made a sweep for his feet but the man gracefully jumped backwards giving himself distance. The man with the white hair tossed both his sheath and his blade into the sky and formed hand seals at an alarming speed and then yelled.
“Fire Style: Great Dragon Bomb Jutsu!” He yelled. After which he held his hands to a lip and sent a great flame towards Heise. The flame was only more concentrated once the mans clench his hands. From a spectator’s view it seemed as if Heise had been consumed by the fire. While Heise was in fact submerged he wasn’t consumed. Due to his newly founded Kyuubi powers he was able to bend the fire around him to not touch him. Heise placed his staff in the water and then furiously lifted it up. From the staff a violent wave of water emerged pushing the fire out of the way making a straight line for the caster. Just as he realized his fire jutsu was having no effect, the man with the white hair grabbed his sword and sheath and charged at Heise pushing through the wave.

The two traded blows for quite sometime till they realized they were at a stand still.
“So the monkey sage lives up to his name” He said with a laugh as he sat atop the waters of the lake. Heise himself took a knee and laughed.
“I guess he does. Who are you?” He asked.
“I was sent to kill you. So you don’t get in the way of some very important people.” He replied.
“Who’d want me dead?” Heise asked panting heavily.
“Shinra.” The man replied. Heise laughed as he fell atop the water and floated he was exhausted. The man realized now was his chance and began to head in for the kill. Just as his blade came down, he was blocked by the giant fan of Mei-Lee and the Smaller Katana of Shizou who’d appeared on the lake.
“Well than,” He said. Just behind the four the waters began to rise and form into a being though it’s full body remained hidden by the waters moving.
“Nobuyuki, Stop.” The waters roared. The man with the white hair turned to the water spirit behind him and the back to Heise who was still lying on the floor. He released a sigh and then released pressure from his blade and then backed off.
Heise, with the help of Mei-Lee, stood and called out to him.
“Nobuyuki, Who are you?” Heise yelled. Nobuyuki who’d now sheathed his blade and was holding his right arm smiled and replied.
“I’m just another assassin.” He then walked into the water spirit and the water spirit crashed down into the river. After the waters had settled Heise realized his advisory was much stronger than he anticipated. As Mei-lee patched him up Shizou hovered over him and looked with concern in his Eyes.
“He had the same crest as you” Shizou said.
“I know Genius” Heise replied.
“Was that him?” Mei-Lee asked. Shizou not raised and eyebrow and stared.
“Who is him?” Shizou said continuing with the pronoun game.
“My Brother” Heise replied.

Elsewhere in a cave, Noboyuki spat out from water and pulled himself to dry land he closed his eyes and began breath fire on his wounds.
“Who was that?” Noboyuki said looking to the waters, “Why did he have the same crest as me? I thought he was just the monkey sage.”
There was no spirit there but still the waters spoke back.
“Is there a Problem in your ability to do the job?” The spirit spoke. He stood for a moment still and thought about it. Then he looked at his wound which was now beginning to heal on its own.
“No, there isn’t” He replied as he stared at his blade.
