Gods of Fire (Training: Tengan X1, Nexus X3)

Asura had decided to go visit one of the nearby shrines of the gods that had been worshipped by many different people, on both the roads and the people of Iwa. He was not a real religious nut but he loved reading about the gods and mythology and stories about them. As he arived, he found one of the shrines to a god of fire.

Just what he wanted. He gazed upon it, though it was ironic. He was looking at a large statue dedicated to the god Asura, a buddist god known to have had many qualities. It was amusing to Asura that many divine figures were driven by still very human emotions. It was suitable that he was named after it as well.

Asura bowed and paid his respects to the statue, a simple gesture and left a small offering. At that moment, he felt a small warmth from his eyes. He didn't know what it was, but he looked at a nearby mirror that was at the side of the building. Sadly he saw no difference.

A little disappointed but humble before this holy place, he left, and began heading back to Iwa.
