Strength of the Earth (Training Doton X 2, Nexus 1)

Asura was in the forests that laid within this region as he practiced on punching and striking a tree. He was training his taijutsu a bit, using rope wrapped around the trunk of a tree as a cushion as he kicked and punched it. At first it was just his bare hands but then he did something new.

After a bit of a break he molded his chakra again, forming two signs. At that moment he stopped and focused-- his hands started to change! His hands suddenly began to become encased in a strange black substance. So were his feet between his sandals. It was strange. The skin was still flexible as if it already did, but it seemed harder. Tougher.

Asura tried his blow again, as his now blackened hands were almost like claws. This time the punch delivered far more forceful attack, slicing right into the body of the tree past the ropes and bark.
