~Living On The Edge~ {Kokoro}{Solo Training}{Quest Mission|Stat Trining}

They had finally began to come close to Kumo. She looked at the dark cloud above that made it look as though it was going to rain… but it did not. They had been riding the horses along a canyon. They had been going non-stop for hours. But, the horses began to pant.
“We need to stop…” she said. As she stopped the horse. She hopped off and looked back. The man she had been escorting looked confused and actually angry. “Is there a problem with that?” she asked him. He looked at her then looked back at the village.

“It’s like, right there. What is that… 5 more miles? We can keep going.”
“The horses are tired and thirsty…”
“So you decide to stop here…” he said. He looked around. “All there is is this small cavern here. Where are they going to drink?” He asked. She was way ahead of him. She had lit a latern and in the huge ditch of the small cavern, she performed a few seals. A basin of water had appeared from within the ground. She pulled her horse over, and the other soon followed with the man still on his large back…

“No… what the hell man. I knew your master sending you was a bad idea!”
“Oh, hush…” she said. “These animal’s needs are just as important as yours. We’re way ahead of time. You can spare another hour. Relax with your impatience…” she said as she ran her hands on the bodies of her beast.
“Fuck this… I’ll go the rest of the way myself.” He hopped off the horse and began to walk out of the cavern. “Don’t expect to get paid upon my leaving…” he said to her as he began to storm off angrily to the village.

Kokoro rolled her eyes as she performed a few seals, and from out of the water, a form of herself had been made out of the water. She walked out after him, as he continued to walk the canyon side. Ways down the road he stepped on the edge, and it collapsed under his feet. Kokoro gasped as he began to freefall in the air down to the ground. Kokoro’s arm turned into that of paper and rushed in, following the man mid air. They began to latch on to the falling body, forming wings on the man’s upper back.

They flapped, stopping him from falling. They brought him back up, and she could see how scared he was.
“There went your life. Now… this is for your own good…” she said, as the wings took him towards the cavern. Below, Kokoro saw a temple in the far distance… it was beautiful… she could not pass up this opportunity. She telepathically connected to her clone.
‘Keep him there… I’ll be back…’ she then free fell off the cliff in the same manner, running down the canyon wall towards the ground. As she made it half way down, she pushed off.

As she fell in the air like a meteor out of the sky. The paper that had returned the man back to her resting place had made its way to her, as it reattached to her full body. The ground came fast, and right before she hit, she materialized into a collage of paper. She hit the ground and each piece dispersed on the ground, scattering amongst the grass below. A moment passed by and all of it moved as if in reverse, and began to mend into each other from the ground up, as a huge paper mache form.

Slowly, the form had pigmented into being herself, standing straight up. She began to walk towards the beautiful temple that seemed to have lit up like a beacon from where she had been; rather, in that general direction. There had seemed to be no threats, or any form of life other than rodents, anywhere in sight. She walked through the trees, before looking back up to where she had come from at the middle of the canyon. She then looked forward again and continued to walk, now into the thick of the forest and wooded area, closing out clear visibility.

She continued walking… though it did began to feel eerie. She felt a massive amount of chakra coming from that direction. She couldn’t sense anybody else, so either there we no humans, or there were humans so strong, she couldn’t sense them without putting a massive amount of chakra out. She didn’t want to do that, as cautious as she’d prefer to be. She continued walking though, and soon, she did make it near her destination. There was a clear field in the middle of this thickness, with only the spotted temple there beaming with a flickering light shining brightly.

She came from out of the thick trees, looking around before cautiously coming closer to the temple. She didn’t hear any screams of distress or anything such as. She looked up at the temple and it seemed to have a statue of Raijuu, the beast in which was famous for the ration elemental use. She peeked around the corner to see what the flickering was… she began to feel a pressure… not a chakra but something more. It felt like a chakra but without quantity. This had confused her but peeked her interest entirely too much. She had her ideas.

Kokoro was obviously the type not afraid to die, since she was going to die anyhow… and she figured if she died, Shizou would still be able to unlock the powers in which would help mold the future upon seeing her dead body. All she had to lose was this mission, and in the grand greater scheme of things, was proportionally not even a fraction of what she had in store for her definitely short but optimistically long life. She took in a deep breath and stepped out from the corner of the temple. She looked at the light ahead.
