Without the crutch of fatigue, the clone is resilient. And this time, Kokoro made sure that the clone would fight her with more skill. Last time, the clone had only been to dodge and block. However, she had the clone fight back this time. The result of this training had Kokoro fail, as her fatigue got the best of her,, and she was defeated by the clone. Kokoro awoke around high noon, with the sun being in its highest position. She sighed, as she sat up, still feeling fatigued, but just a little more rested. As she sat there, she also considered that, though her body may needed rest, there was so much more she could be doing. Meditating is one of them. But, before doing so, she closed her eyes and opened her mind even futher.
‘Shizou…’ she thought.
‘Mother!’ exclaimed the voice of a young boy inside of her head. She had begun a telepathic connection between the two of them.
‘How is everything, my beloved child.’
‘All is good, mom. I’ve gotten to know both grandfathers a bit. One is teaching me of the business industry, and the other is training me. I can’t complain. How is your training?’
‘It is… slow… anyway… I just wanted to let you know I’m ok. And I love you and miss you… I should only be gone for a few more days to a week.’
‘Ok mom… I love you too!’ he said. And then the conversation was over. She then fell into deep meditation…

She awoke to the night air, and the moonlight reflecting off of the lake. The mist had been pretty dense at this point. She had stood straight, and wasted no time to go fishing for food. And once she had been done eating, she immediately lunged herself into vigorous training, this time making it through the whole process without being defeated. She earned her rest at the end of the night….
