Benjiro has been a strange child since birth in his fathers eyes. Benjiro is a bit spacey and only really seems to enjoy creating strange weapons, traps, and tools. His father is a very strait forward and traditional ninja who tried to get Benjiro to focus on what he viewed the more important part of training. Benjiro was never a huge fan of ninjutsu and strongy disliked taijutsu. Even at school Benjiro would often spend his time doodling various designs of his ideas instead of paying attention. The other members of the clan were looking down on Benjiro and the rest of his family. Benjiro's younger siblings had a particularly tough time as many people in the clan didn't want them to end up like Benjiro. Feeling the pressure from the rest of the clan his father new he had to do something about Benjiro. His father had many friends in Sunagakure and he new that they ran a tighter ship there than in Konohagakure. He arraged a transfer to Suna for Benjiro. When Benjiro arrived in Suna he discovered puppets. He instantly fell in love with them and began to immerse himself in them.
