Mibu Tsukasa, a pretty neat kid. Was born with the clan’s special eyes. So of course, there we some pretty high expectations for the boy. Young Tsukasa worked tirelessly to try and match them. And by the time he entered the Academy, he was heralded as a prodigy.

One day, the Academy had introduced a special exchange program. They send some of their students off to experience new cultures, etcetera. Tsukasa was somewhat interested, but was too invested in his studies to ever get the 411 on the operation.

Of course, then the clan stepped in and signed him up. Gave a vague reason about how it’d be good for him to get out there and learn new things. He just sorta smiled and accepted it.

And so, that’s how he ended in The Hidden Sand Village.
