- Sunny Morning -
< Yawning from glancing at the house that was given the report of saying that evil spirits are hunting the local house down the street. Grave stared at the door for a moment before knocking on the door to see what would happen. As he lifted his hand up to knock on the door, it was swung open quickly with an old couple looking up at Grave with a smile of relief. Smiling and nodding at the couple they looked at each other and started to ask. "Are you the young man Grave Asakura?" said roughly from the old man as he was a little upset it seemed. Grave nodded once more with his eyes lightly closed, "Yes sir, my grandfather sent me here to look at your house." Moving his eyes swiftly around the house from the door step everything seemed normal but it was unsure. Luckly for Grave his grandfather had told him, "Spirits are earthbound beings that cannot find peace...so you have to help them move on. Be careful dark spirits like to hide among things." Nodding his head to that Grave walked on in looking around and was still unable to see anything.
The old man came up from behind saying, "We are sorry...but the spirit seems to not want to leave us be...us and our granddaughter. Seems she's come down with a strange illness overnight as well." Grave thought about it and looked and then ask lightly, "Where is she now your granddaughter that is?" The old woman took the lead and started walking to the back room with Grave and the elderly man following behind. Seeing the wooden door slide open he noticed the young girl playing on the floor with a bear. 'Odd...this house doesn't seem to...wait...what is...' The girl seemed to be playing with a ill face but the bear was giving off a strange aura.
"Please...Kimo get back in bed dear...your sick..." said the worried old lady leaning over trying to move the 5 year old to the bed. She shook her head saying lightly, "Mr. Bear...says going to bed and bad things will happen to me...I don't wanna sleep please..." Grave looked at her and leaned over saying, "Do not fear...i promise you will have a good day's rest." The girl's eyes lite up with hope as though she could trust him. Soon the bear's aura grew a little more as it was starting to take form above. "Ma'am please leave the room and leave me and Kimo for a while ago?" The old lady nodded to him and did as he wished hearing the door shut. Grave turned his attention to the spirit saying. "Now...what is it you want...why are you here hurting this child?"
The spirit took a form as giant oni looking at Grave with six horns on his head and two on his shoulders like wings. "I came...she called...wanting a friend...I appeared and completed her wish...but in order...for me to stay...I must drain her life force." Grave nodded and sighed saying lightly, "I figured as much...oh well you cannot stay sadly you are causing her pain and she needs to rest. So please return from where you came!" The oni laughed saying, "You cannot banish me back to my own world, your powers are not...WHAT NO!!!" Pulling out six special spirit tags Grave smiled saying, "Your right...i cannot but with my grandfather's powers i can...so...TAKE THIS!!" With a rush of pulling the six tags he launched them at the bear.
As they formed a cirlce around the bear, a six pointed star formed under it as a bright light shined upwards spiraling the Oni back into its dimision as the young girl was hiding behind Grave watching over her. Soon the dark aura vanished leaving only blank paper on the ground. Smiling he looked at the girl whom shook her head showing the illness had vanished. "What...happen..." Looking around Grave smiled at her and leaned over saying, "If you ever want friends do not be afarid just go talk to people and you can gain friends quickly and in no time do not be scared. Heck I'll be your friend just to make sure that does not happen again deal?" The little girl's eyes watered up and started to shed tears as she nodded with happiness. The elder couple came in with happiness as the old man looked at Grave.
"Did...the spirit return ti its world?" Worried and hugging on his granddaughter. Grave nodded and grabbed the tags and placed them in his back pocket saying, "Do not fear...its gone and she is safe so please watch over her...I must leave now cause I have to run errands. Bye everyone and take care, as Grave was leaving the house he yawned as he pulled the money out and counted it. "Sweet now I can deal with taking care of what needs to be done."
