The Asakura Speed Battle Training [Speed x5 | Molding x1 | Weapon x1]

- During the next morning everything seemed to be going well after the battle between the young boys and Asakura Kaze. The power of the man seemed to be almost unbeatable at the time. But things were looking up as the kids got to rest and get some relaxation in. But today was another day, as the sun's lights were shining through grave's window he awoke from the beams hitting in his eyelids. Turning away to face his wall the light shined at a mirror bouncing hitting him in the face. Sighing he sat up slowly from bed and yawned loudly saying, "I get it...get up right...nature...you have your ways of waking up people."

Grave walked over to the window opening it to see the outside only to see his father hanging from his window saying, "Good Morning Son!" Blinking at first not fully awake Grave stared and then had his eyes widen jumping backwards yelling, "Damnit old man what are you doing!" Grave pointed at his father as the adult pulled himself in and dusted himself off saying, "Today is the day of speed training...you'll be working on this fact but against two strong friends that I feel will be a great help to you boys."

Kaze bowed and vanished like a gust of wind leaving behind Grave confused and staring at his wall and then shaking his head, "great...another training...i have not even fully healed from the last training that was gone through...oh well might as well get started on it." Running over to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth, Grave quickly got dressed and shook his head once more making sure he was awake and refreshed before running over to Raijin's room and knocking lightly saying, "Hey...Raijin c'mon get up...we gotta begin our next training i'll see you in the backyard!" Darting down the stairs Grave head out the door waiting for Raijin to come while he waited his father and grandfather stood waiting as well. Grave was bored in the first place and sat down indian style to view all the things in the backyard and smile at his grandmother's garden.

The night was long and warm, oddly enough even though they were in the mountains it was nice. Falling back asleep he woke up peacefully when he would normally start getting his so it made him an early riser, the sun hadn't even fully come up yet, it was just poking its beams up over the horizon just starting to say hello to the day for everyone, he got up and got dressed in a clean pair of clothes and walked out brushing his teeth, and washing his face before he sighed and slapped his cheeks before he closed his door to his room, he walked out into the court yard and started stretching before he walked into the middle of the peaceful yard, he sat down crossing his legs of the others before he closed his eyes and pressed his fists against each other knuckle to knuckle upside down in his lap and started breathing slowly putting himself into a meditation state.

While Raijin was in his meditation state all of his surroundings became shut out but he could still hear all the calming sounds like the birds songs, or the fall of water in the far distance, or the sound of the wind pushing greenery around. When he opened his eyes the sun was already fully up and he allowed his eyes to adjust quickly as he breathed in deeply to smell the fresh air before he stood up to see the father, the grandfather, and the son Grave all standing there waiting for him, he smirked as he noticed Grave look over him, “about time you guys woke up, I've been up for a bit now, so I just meditated while I waited.” he said across from the middle of the yard.

Standing up Raijin patted off his but for the dust before he walked over slowly to where the three stood and bowed to them all, “its a fine morning, so whats the plans for today's training?” he asked looking at the three of them with a slit smirk on his face, pain meant experience, and experience meant living longer in Raijin's eyes. He stood there tall and proud, even if he was just a sixteen year old boy in their eyes, and matured. Stretching out his limbs as he stood there to ensure he made sure he wouldn't pull anything in this training because that would add extra pain he didn't need to feel and he assumed they didn't allow for such a minor thing for training to slow them down.

Kaze looked over at the young man and smiled under his mask saying, "Nothing really I was shopping before coming home...but its time for you boys to begin your speed battle test. We're going to train you with weapons so...Grave and Raijin you both will be fighting with each other against two of our fastest, "Spirits" now you should not take them lightly as they look small they have greater powers then me...so be ready for it." Picking up two small rocks Kaze closed his eyes and crushed them letting the dust flying into the air as he whispered, "kushyosi - Ichijin Kanpuu!"

The dust particals started to come together forming two strange creatures one was wielding a staff the other was wielding a wooden sword, known as a bokken. Grave's father through a staff at him and a bokken at Raijin. "Now...the one on the right or facing Grave is called Ichijin...he's the vanguard basically of our clan. So be on guard Grave as he's a master staff men. Kanpuu is the cold wind warrior, he only uses a blade but i've spoke with him about using the bokken. Now...me and grandfather will be watching you boys from above as soon as we leave the battle will begin...good luck."

Both men jumped on the deck of the house as the spirits eyes glew a bright yellow. Ichijin was green with a yellow like priest outfit on only to have him seem innocent. Within a blink he was gone leaving Grave to pull his staff towards his side taking a hit that sent him flying to the right away from Raijin. The other figure vanished coming at Raijin. "Great...this is going to be a little interesting...I wonder what we should do in order to defeat you guys." Ichijin just let out a 'hsss' noise from its mouth only to vanish again behind Grave as though he moved from one point to another. Shocking Grave a little this left him to stay on the defense for a bit and keeping track of his enemy.

Raijin nodded to Kaze, “I noticed you leave earlier, I was up pretty early today.” he said as he took a deep breath in as he looked over at Grave and nodded with a confident look on his face, he turned his attention back to Kaze before he noticed he grabbed to normal rocks off the ground and he made a stance to be ready in case something was to happen but his ready stance turned to a confused stance. As Raijin stood there he heard Kaze mutter something before he sighed heavily at the warning he was giving, “... this... should be... interesting.” Raijin said to himself aloud before he noticed a bokken thrown his way, “getting more interesting...” he added as he twirled it about to find its balance and the weight.

Raijing looked over at Grave before he looked back to the two little seemingly harmless beings they had to fight were really warriors, he looked at his opponents and bowed before Kaze and grandfather jumped onto the balcony, Raijin lowered himself into a ready stance already, many battle scenarios playing out in his head as he watched his opponents eyes closely, “Grave... choose your moves carefully, this just got interesting...” Raijin added as he noticed Kanpuu disappear from his vision before he felt a tingle on the back of his neck to which he quickly twirled the bokken in his hands around to deflect the blow to just barely miss his head before he felt the sudden massive vibration shake the bokken. These little things weren't playing around it was a serious fight they had coming their way, and they were better with their weapons then both of them combined, but at least Raijin had some weapon training.

Raijing noticed Grave and he sighed “were gunna have to tag team these to keep them off guard me thinks, we'll keep switching out and somewhere in between we'll cancel it out and maybe... just maybe we'll make it through this training...” Raijin said as he deflected a few more blows a little skillfully, he watched the sword attack movements easily enough, well the ones he could see at least.

Having his back against a wall the staff flew at his head, ducking down from that attack Ichijin was giving off at Grave he rolled on the ground and lifted the staff above his head only to have Ichijin crash his staff on to Grave's pushing down heavily as though the staff weighted almost twice as much as Grave. "Your telling me...these guys are not something we can face off against alone...hell...if anything this training is going to leave only a few marks." Grave slid back his foot and pushed upwards throwing Ichijin off guard and gave a strike only for Ichijin to turn into dust appearing behind Grave.

Quickly turning around only to take a staff to his left side Grave slid on the ground for a bit before pushing off with his right hand. "Damn...ok maybe...these guys really are...wait..." Grave thought about it as he remembered dust flying into the air and then remembered the clan's techniques that call forth, "Spirits" "Could it be...what I think it is..." Grave jumped over a small distance being by Raijin to whisper to him softly. "Listen...this training...you notice they move quick from one point to another right? I believe this test is to test our speed...if so...then we shouldn't battle...we should match them in speed...get what i'm saying? IF we can start matching them in speed and counter them as they counter us we may win."

Standing straight up and watching Ichijin vanish once more. Grave thought of his movement before having do so. 'Focus...Focus...Focus...and then...strike!' Vanishing as well as Ichijin struck with his staff. Grave appeared behind Ichijin swing the staff Ichijin. Only leaving a smile on his face. But soon Grave's smile became something of shock as Ichijin vanished faster then before kicking Grave into the ground. Leaving an after image. It seemed that the figures were no joke as they truly had power behind them. "Kaze...using this rank of power should not give them this much trouble if they were healed...but you already knew that didn't you?" The old man turned to look at Kaze Asakura whom was sleeping while standing up. Sighing to this...grandpa mutter, "You stayed up all night watching tv again..."

Standing up with dirt falling from his clothing Grave smirked became some what insane like, but it left a jolt of excitement to him. "This is...awesome!" This feeling awoke Kaze as he looked down at Grave confused for a moment. 'Did it...no...Hao did he take over Grave's body?" Holding his hand out to stop him from causing an scene, grandfather said lightly, "No...Grave is Grave...he is finally enjoying himself in a battle he knows he cannot win against." Grave cracked his neck and smiled more yelling out, "RAIJIN TRADE YOU!"

The wooden swords cracking against each other could be heard loudly and clearly in Raijin's ears and in his arms, he watched his opponents eyes more than any of the body movements due to the fact he was trained to watch eye movements, it always gave away the location of a blow to Raijin somehow but he wasn't fast enough to counter attack, he was saving it for a drastic situation, he heard Grave call something out but the swords hitting each other was too loud, before he noticed Grave go flying back to the ground in his peripheral view. He grinned as he stopped defending for a second from a heavy attack that he found a way to counter easily enough, he caught a bit of Kanpuu or so Raijin thought before he felt a whack in the middle of his calf that knocked him off his feet to which he used the bokken to right himself and counter back again, it was something he would find easily amusing as he always had ways of doing things.

Raijin and Kanpuu traded blows at a fast and repeated rate, it was almost like every time the wooden swords connected it released a loud deep whack sound, Raijin watched carefully but he kept getting hit more and more, something was up with these things that both him and Grave were fighting against. He noticed Grave starting to have fun while they were pretty much getting their asses handed to them, but Raijin just smirked and continued to fight and defend as much as he could.

A sound he was listening for the entire time during the entire fight rang loudly and clearly in his ears he fake lunged at Kanpuu before he stopped and turned right around and launched a downward angled slash aimed behind him at Ichijin, “jump!” Raijin said as he did so to Grave as he noticed Ichijin being caught off guard, 'good luck with Kanpuu Grave...' Raijin thought as he was having a pretty semi hard time with Kanpuu himself, but dealing against a staff could prove more useful in an advantage for Raijin.

After another loud whack sound was made from two different hard wood hitting each other rang clearly out into the yard, Raijin unleashed a quick and well placed eight strick combo which went, across, downard across, up, down, across, across, lunge, fake lunge jump slash. A steady quick beat of wood hitting wood rang out for the majority of them before he felt the staff smack him in the face before he could taste his own blood in his mouth.

The wild smile of Grave heard Raijin say jump. In doing so he did a back flip over Raijin as he was coming down with his feet the staff was between his legs as it made contact with Kanpuu's sword. Bring it down with force before standing up quickly to watch Kanpuu stare at Grave lightly, smirking at this turn of events he knew that getting pass this test was the best way to prove that both him and Raijin have gotten stronger.

Pulling the staff and spinning it around his hand Grave smiled and pointed the staff's bottom end at Kanpuu whom vanished appearing on the right side of Grave. Pulling the staff to his side the smashing power of the bokken pushed the staff thru the ground as both Grave and Kanpuu were sliding towards the right away from Raijin and Ichijin. 'That's not nice...pushing away from your friend...oh well...' Pulling the staff up and using the force that was pushing him against Kanpuu Grave did a front flip over Kanpuu taking his staff with him as he fixed his body while in mid air landing facing the back side of Kanpuu.

Grave launched forward with the staff trying to pierce Kanpuu directly into the chest area. But it was too soon to let his guard down as he struck Kanpuu. The body was starting to become haze only to have Kanpuu appear behind him once more. It seemed the technique that was used caused Grave to smile even more as he thought about it. 'Using your speed...you boost yourselves up at the last minute creating an afterimage...of dust...which is why my father must have thrown it in the air. Cause you are using a technique to teleport quickly with the dust in the air.' Stabbing the end of the staff into the ground, the bokken was coming across the waist line of Grave, but missed barely as he had used the staff as a support to lift him up sideways kicking at Kanpuu. Pushing him backwards, a little and smiling even more so the excitement within Grave grew more.

'Now...the battle is going to get interesting, I just have to figure out how to cancel...the element in the air in order to stop the images from appearing...' Thinking about it Grave was leaving himself unguarded as the bokken was coming at him from above. Quickly trying to react the power from the bokken was greater than before as the staff was launched away from Grave out of his hands flying into the ground 5 feet away from him. This left Grave facing the bokken at the tip with Kanpuu waiting for his next move.

Raijoku watched out of his peripheral's as Grave back flipped over him and he smirked even wider about it, this fight was getting wild and crazy all of a sudden but hey, what could someone say about it for a pair of boys not even shinobi yet. Raijin grasped the handle part of the bokken and placed his hand openly at the near tip of the bokkens supposed blade and stopped an attack deflecting it and coming around to catch the other end of the staff to the chin as well as knocking him off of his feet, Raijin felt it the millisecond it hit, maybe even before it hit but it hurt like hell.

Raijin rolled away from another attack before he rolled a last time bringing the blade up in a sudden attack before he found his footing as he was setting his second attack up, the sword came up off the ground as well as Raijoku and lunged but instead of it being a full way lunge he twised his foot feign attacking with the sword to use the force of his rotation to try and complete a full round house kick to hit Ichijin, he felt it almost hit him and he gritted his teeth as he cursed under his breath “dammit!”, Raijin quickly used that gravity pull to jump into a front flip avoiding Ichijin's attack, he knew this fight had to end here pretty damn quick because he was starting to get tired, but not as fast as he normally did, was it the adrenaline? no... his heart beat was at a normal rate while doing quick actions and dodging.

Raijin slashed side ways at Ichijin at the lower part of the staff sending it across before he slashed up before he lunged again, all attacks were blocked but oddly his attacks were almost breaking through now. Was the spirit giving up or not able to defend against someone of the sword as pure as Raijin was, it was something that came across his mind but left it quickly, he was in a fight and he didn't have all the time he could to say or do anything of that sort, he proved the point to himself as he barely had time to dodge the staff again from hitting him in the face.

Jumping back a few feet he stopped himself before he brought the bokken back up by his waist with both hands on the wooden swords before he looked at Ichijin, he grasped the handle lightly before he took a deep breath and waited for Ichijin to launch in at him, it was his only move because Raijin had his back covered more so than his front and it was a luck of the draw kinda fight now.

Moving quicker as he could feel his speed was rising something made him feel he was improving for a moment. As Grave was not the only one to feel it seemed so did these things that were attacking them. Thanks to his father and grandfather's training it seemed it was about time to test out the speed without causing anymore damage done to his body. As now Grave was left beaten and bruised from the attacks that were dashed out by Kanpuu. The last move seemed to have left Grave out of energy but because of his will he was not giving up on himself. Standing up tall once more as the tip of the bokken was still on him. Kanpuu "hsss" under its breath before vanishing.

Within seconds Grave was looking around, but only for him to feel the affect of what had happen. A red line went down his face the moment he felt the pain. As it was shocking Grave could not yell in pain as he felt his mouth was being held closed and his body froze only dropping the staff he was carrying. He soon fell to his knees only having one final thought come over, 'I...lost...' as he was slowly falling in a slow like motion to the ground. Kanpuu appeared on the side of him 'hsssing' coming from his mouth once more. As Grave was struck upward into the air lightly to keep standing.

But it was not an attack it was the fact that Kanpuu picked Grave by his collar holding him, now out cold the head of the boy fell forward like a rag doll. Turning to look at Grave's father Kanpuu shrugged and was awaiting for more orders it seemed. Kaze sighed saying lightly, "I seem to have let my emotions cloud my judgment...I don't believe grave is able to..." Stopping him grandfather Asakura opened his hand saying, "Grave's not down yet...look again..." Kaze looked up only to notice Grave's teeth were grinding like he was anger only to yell out, "YOU DAMN DUST BUNNY LET GO OF ME!" Pushing off of Kanpuu the figure was shocked only to allow Grave to pick up his staff slowly saying, "He told...he told me not to give up until the end...until i beat him!"

The eyes of Grave flared up with rage even more as he attacked Kanpuu with a quicker reflex than before. Jumping backwards and attacking once more to hit him with the side of the staff Kanpuu vanished attacking from behind. This allowed Grave to lift off his right foot to spiral around the bokken and jab his staff at the same time spinning to hit Kanpuu. Whom vanished once more appearing away from Grave as though he was starting to fear him. But Grave was himself again as he was relaxing his body pointing at Kanpuu. "I...hate...getting beat by you!" Grave gripped tightly around the staff attacking once more aiming to destroy Kanpuu in battle.

Raijin stood there watching the staff armed dust bunny and watched him carefully as he suddenly saw the attack come, Raijin bolted a few steps forward before he drew the bokken and slashed it as fast as he could, it was a master technique for samurai's that Raijin pulled off, but sadly his timing was off and he got sent flying, getting frustrated after he got up he let out a rage filled deep coarse roar and he charged back at Ichijin slashing his sword violently to fail repeatedly before he took a big ol' whack to the face that smartened him up right quick.

He took a few steps backwards his adrenaline pumping like crazy right now, he watched Ichijin before he got an idea, but this time he was going to instead of a quick draw, he was going to tackle and turn around and slash as fast and as hard as he could. Raijin knelt down into the stance and Ichijin charged him almost instantly but was caught off guard by Raijin's tackle technique at the moment, POOF, the dust bunny disappeared to reappear to catch the bokken across the face sending it sprawling. It looked up at him and gave him a very evil kind of “HISZSZSZSZZSZ!!!!” Raijin looked over at it carefully and smirked before he charged back in, catching the staff as it came down at Raijin he lunged at the dust bunny making it poof again behind him to which he stopped and rotated the blade and stabbed the bokken between his midsection and arm to hit the dust bunny again.

Raijin looked at the dust bunny and started smirking larger, it could be seen in his eyes, an electric discharge seemed to be going on in his eyes but there was no way it was possible due to the fact that he hadn't even learned about elements yet, he looked over at Grave after he heard some talking going on, he turned and tried to run to go save Grave before he noticed he was still up and shouted something at Kapuu, he smirked as he blocked the staff coming at him from behind with his forearm which bruised almost instantly. He turned around to do a double round house kick followed with a triple cross slash.

Raijin watch Ichijin carefully as it got back up now and he darted at Raijin, oddly he dodged his entire attack by tripping up on a rock and falling over, 'ow....' Raijin thought to himself as he landed on a few bruises on his back. He scrambled to his feet and charged in to hit Ichijin again but saw him disappear to which he turned and slashed catching the bunny with a solid full on contact hit and watched it poof or explode or something of the sort. Raijin stood there for a few moments victorious basking in it before he turned and started running in to help out Grave with his old opponent.
