Inshitsu’s breath became heavier as he went deeper into the forest that had behind the cave after hearing a strange noise erupting from the area around a large tree. Inshitsu’s leg got caught on a low bush causing him to trip into the opening that was surrounding the large tree. As he picked himself from the leaf covered ground, he looked up the tree to see if he could spot a reason for the source of the mysterious noise. The tree looked to be lacking of any sort life inhabiting it. It was oddly still as the windy breeze brushed the other trees in the clearing, a shimmer of leaves making a slight backdrop of sound. Inshitsu started to edge cautiously towards the seemly unnatural tree. Inshitsu jumped, reaching his hands above to grab at a branch that was looming low to the ground. The tree branch had remained still, unaffected by Inshitsu’s weight as he climbed on top of the branch fixing himself in a position to climb to the next branch. He ran up the tree, jumping as he took his last step to close the distance between him and his next landing spot. He repeated the pattern of climbing the tree until he had landed on top of tree, giving him a completely unblocked vision of the entire region surrounding him. It gave him a weird jolt of energy as if a jutsu was intended to be used from this location. The energy convinced Inshitsu to descend from the tree in order to give finding the source of strange noise that led him to be drawn to the tree. He jumped from branch to branch getting lower until he was on the last branch as he leapt from the branch to land softly on the ground. He dusted any of the dirt that had gotten on his pants and took one last look at the tree that had been so resistant of any force that attempted to move it from how it was currently position. He refused answer his inner calling to investigate the tree feeling as though the tree was strangely able to sense the presence of others around it. He heard sharp snapping noise and jumped back as he saw a bird land where he had previously been standing. He looked up and saw a hole that he could have sworn was not there before he had gotten to the top of the tree. He examined the bird, noticing that it must of ran into something wooden as it had splinter exposed in its damaged head. Inshitsu crouched and touched the bird’s body attempting to feel if there was still blood flowing. As his finger made contact with the bird’s feathers, he felt a spark of energy get sent through his body causing his hand to retract back from the bird’s body. Inshitsu stood up taking a glance back at the tree, now feeling strangely calmed around it. Out of instinct, he started to form a hand seal for Raiton jutsu just to attempt a hunch and felt another power starting to brace itself. His hands returned to his sides and he turned around heading back to the cave taking one last glance as he looked back from where he had entered the clearing, retreating back into the forest’s cover.
