Inshitsu was climbing through the forest that was around the field where he was meditating. Inshitsu had felt an urge to explore around the area around him, feeling that he could find something that his younger self had skipped over. So far, he hadn’t seen anything different, but the feeling had not gone away. Inshitsu saw the trees starting to end in front, leading to an area that seemed to be flat land at the distance that Inshitsu was from the clearing. But as he got closer to the clearing, it looked more like a shallow ditch was covering the clearing. He had exited out of the forest’s trees before realizing that the ditch wasn’t a ditch at all, but instead it was a deep pool of clear water. Inshitsu tilted his head, “I’ve should seen this, no way something size would have been able to hide.” The pool was easily bigger than his apartment, and it seemed to be as deep as his waist. Inshitsu rolled up his pant leg, lowering his leg into the pool of water slowly. With a lack of reaction from the dipping into the pool’s water, he rolled his other pant leg up and sat on the edge of pool, dipping his other leg into the calm pool. The water of the pool relaxed all of the muscles in Inshitsu’s body making him unfocused and laying on his back on the ground behind him. As his head was facing the sky, his eyes started to lower themselves shut, letting his mind wander as the gentle breeze disturbed the tranquility of pool’s water. The water’s movement distorted the images that his mind was navigating him through. He felt the same spark of energy that he felt from focusing on his lightning. Inshitsu quickly lost awareness of time and as he forced his eyes to shoot open, the night sky made aware of how much time he had lost to the sudden break he had taken. He sat up to take his legs out of the pool’s water, he shook his leg dry and started to roll down his pants legs. As he walked back to the entrance of the pool area, he looked at his legs realizing that the skin of his legs was smooth as if the water hadn’t been there. He looked back at the pool water. The reflection of the water seemed to be nonexistent as he could see straight to the bottom of the pool. “Maybe I should start eating some other food, first the tree and now the missing pool,” Inshitsu sighed, letting his arms hang next to his sides. He looked around at the forest surrounding him. “What else did I miss?” He took a glance back at the lake before staring at the night sky. ”I missed it!” Inshitsu’s widened as realized that he had forgotten about his girlfriend’s date today. As the information started to set in Inshitsu’s mind, he sprinted back the way of that he had arrived at the pool in the first place.
