The Lion's Roar [ Quest | ]

Heise appeared first forming hand signs.
“Earth Style: Devastaing Earth” He yelled slamming his hands on the ground. From the ground spikes rushed in at heavy speed at the opponent. Kitsuchi jumped in the air and Hei-Mei followed trying to attack with a Kunai. Kitsuchi now had to use both his hands to hold the kunai and brace himself from the force of Hei-mei. Kaitou who appeared behind Kitsuchi managed to grab both the bells from the Kitsuchi who was preoccupied with Hei-Mei. Heise rejoined his squad on the ground and the team celebrated in victory.
“Not so fast” Kitsuchi said with a smirk.
“There are still only two bells”

Heise smiled and raised his hands. Kaitou turned shocked.
“What are you doing?’ Kaitou screamed as Heise was walking away. Hei-Mei remained quiet. Heise stopped and smiled.
“You two are new Genin, It’s okay for you to go on without me.” He said. Kaitou shook his head in a bit of rage. He turned to Hei-Mei for help.
“Well, Say something!” He said. Hei-Mei to had nothing to say.
“Heise-!”
“Heise stop acting childish we will find a way around this.” Kaitou yelled. Everyone was shocked to see Kaitou act in such a manner. He was changed to a completely different person.

Kaitou stopped and looked at the bells. He realized if he went back to the academy he could possibly never become as great of a shinobi as he wanted. He then looked up at Heise. If he didn’t get the bell than he wouldn’t be a chunin. And Hei-Mei, she wouldn’t be able to be a great Kunoichi. He then realized they were nothing without each other. He looked and smiled and immediately they came to a resolution. Kaitou turned around and threw the bells right back at Kitsuchi and smiled.
“Kitsuchi we have made our decision.”
“I am waiting.”

“If one of us can not go” Kaitou began as he walked away, Hei-Mei followed suit. “Then we are all not going.”
Kitsuchi laughed loudly and watched the kids as they walked away.
“Well than, Squad three will begin.” He said. Kaitou. Heise, and Hei-Mei all turned around shocked as to what they just heard.
“Are you serious?” They asked. Kitsuchi raised his right hand and thumb and lifted it.
“But why?” Kaitou Asked. kKitsuchi moved closer and then sat down like a child in front of his students.
“Because, A team is nothing without team work” Kitsuchi said to the kids.

“You children had the resolve to do what most people could not” He said as he stood up and stretched.
“Not only did all three of you work together but you all came to the conclusion that you were all only stronger together. That is the will of stone. You have proven that you are far greater and more capable beyond measure” He said. He walked away waving.
“Our first mission begins tomorrow Squad three!” He yelled. “ Get rested and be well” Kaitou was completely star struck at how far he had just come. He smiled and jumped up and down crying
“I am a genin now!”

It must have been some odd five years ago that Kaitou-Aoisuna had become a Genin. He turned his attention to the beer bottle in front of him and drank. Hei-Mei had returned to the leaf village and here he was, a drunk farmer. Sitting in a bar drinking. He walked away from the bar while placing money on the table.
“You know, you come here and drink everyday. You should really go and try to become a ninja” The bartender said as he watched Kaitou Leave. Kaitou paused and laughed and turned his head to face the man.
“Ninja… are worthless”
