Inshitsu sighed to himself. He was lying down on his couch with one of his arms dangling off. Most of his friends had been yelling at him to do something with his spare time, yet he brushed most of them aside. One of his friends threatened to get him a job from the office if he didn’t move, and Inshitsu almost laughed in his face. Inshitsu wasn’t laughing as he lay debating on a way to break into a suspected hideout of a thug that had been putting trouble onto the town. Inshitsu had been dwelling on this for a couple of minutes and still didn’t have a good idea on how to break into the hideout. Inshitsu shrugged his shoulders as he sat up settling on the idea of brute force and improvising. Inshitsu grabbed his blades and holstered them on his waist as he walked out of his apartment. Inshitsu stopped outside of the door and, without hesitating, climbed the building that he had just walked out of. Inshitsu ran across the rooftop that he had just raised himself to and jumped to the building that was next to it. Inshitsu raced across the rooftops to get to the location of where his target was last sighted. Inshitsu stopped as he landed on the ground in front of a wall of trees. Inshitsu walked over to the edge of the trees, placing his hand on the nearest tree trunk. Inshitsu quickly placed his other hand on to his head as he felt a sudden throbbing into his head; a faint blur of a memory rose into his head that seemed to be of a person yelling at another. Inshitsu shook his head to erase the memory and walked into the trees. Inshitsu walked for some time until he came across a wall of leaves. Inshitsu climbed the wall to peak his head over. Inside of the leaf encampment, he saw a group of thuggish looking men. Inshitsu saw that they all wore a bandana with a symbol that wasn’t any country that Inshitsu knew of. Inshitsu watched as they sorted through supplies and weapons. They all had a bladed weapon, but it looked like the leader of the bunch was taking the spare materials. Inshitsu was about to move in when he saw a woman walk into the camp as well. Inshitsu went back to watching position as the woman walked up to what he had assumed was the leader. The two started to talk with the leader blurting out more than the woman was liked from the look on her face. Inshitsu realized, with a little bit of sadness, that his target was truly the woman, but Inshitsu hoped that he would be able to obtain a little bit of a bonus for getting the whole crew dead. Inshitsu raised himself to plant his feet on the wall. Inshitsu shakily rose to a crouching position with a lock on the woman. Inshitsu raised his hands slowly to not draw attention to him. Inshitsu formed the hand signs for his twin sphere technique. Inshitsu quickly threw the balls of lightning at the people that were closest to him. Inshitsu jumped off the wall and landed on the inside of the encampment. “Who do you think you are?” The woman’s voice sounded rougher than sand paper on Inshitsu’s ears. Inshitsu’s reply to her question was simply, “A man with a mission.” As he finished his words, he rushed towards two standing men. They looked like they had never been in a fight before as they both raised their hands to cover only their face. Inshitsu took out his Kusagani no Tsurugi and slashed across the waistline of the men. They barely had time to scream as they were torn in half by the speed of Inshitsu’s slash. Inshitsu’s head snapped to the noise of a blade sliding out of a scabbard. He saw the woman holding a blade that looked dull along the side with a sharpened side. Inshitsu rose to his full height and held both of his hands open to allow the woman to attack him first. The woman was caught off guard but she ran up to Inshitsu and attempted to stab him in the gut. Inshitsu step to the side of the woman and kicked her in the gut. She dropped the blade as she fell on to the ground. Inshitsu got on top of her and pinned her to the ground. Inshitsu lowered himself to her ear and whispered, “I told you, I’m a man with a mission.” Inshitsu took his head back in order to get a good look at her face. He wasn’t disappointed when he came back to a face of fear. Inshitsu took his blade and dragged it across the throat of the woman. Inshitsu got off the woman and wiped his blade clean on the clothes of one of the halved men. Inshitsu slid it back into the holster and walked to the opening in the leaf wall. Inshitsu looked back at the dying woman and grinned as he walked over to the opening in the leaf wall in order to return the village.
Inshitsu entered into the mission room. He told the manager that his mission was finally finished and the evidence was on the outside of the village. The manager simply nodded and handed him the reward of the mission. Inshitsu snatched the payment and walked out of the mission to go back and relax on his couch.
