[spoiler="+ Background/History"] Enjin was born into the Asakura clan and raised among the clan as they continued among their duties and responsibilities for the nature of their teachings. However, despite raised by these beliefs and understanding them, Enjin desired more out of life. He wanted to choose his own path and find freedom out from the 'destiny' that he was born into. His resentment led him to come into touch with the spirit of a vengeful god-- the path of Asura. Realizing his training with the monks offered some merit to power after all, Enjin accepted this gift. He learned that spiritual power was indeed a boon to make himself stronger and awakened him to powers he wouldn't of found on his own.
Still, he didn't want to be forever bound to the monastery. When he was 18, he left and proceed to find work suited for his own skills. Eventually, he attended a local ninja academy, wanting to develop his powers , and then soon find his path to true freedom.
Personality:
Enjin is a fiery, confident, passionate young man. Unlike his clan who sought to be part of the monastery and be priests, Enjin wanted more in life and choose to leave. Though grateful to what traits and powers that came from being a part of his clan, he didn't intend to live his life in servitude to others all the time. Enjin has a care free nature, exploring, drinking with friends, fighting-- loves to fight . He can be viewed as a hedonistic person; always lives in the moment and can be viewed as 'wolfish'.

He also enjoys participating in amature fighting matches, and enjoys hanging out with his friends. Despite being from a renown clan, he keeps this details to himself, wishing to be viewed like another one of the guys. When fighting, Enjin's  bloodlust runs high. He easily loses himself in the fight, even to fits of rage-- partly under the influence of the Asura jutsu he possesses.
Though he comes off as a greedy, cocky, pain in the ass-- when push comes to shove, he is willing to lay out his life for those who can't fight for themselves. There is no fun or honor to pick on those who can't fight.
