The Meeting of the Eyes-- The Uchiha and Jiin (Group Training Thread with Haya: EntonX 2 nexus X 1)

Training seemed to be as vital for Asura than anything else. More important than food it seemed to him at times. He preferred to always strive to be stronger. After enduring many training sessions with a certain rogue ninja-- Ravana the Ravager who had come to Iwa for his own pleasures, Asura haxd become more independent in his training. Between training with him, and his true master Roku from the Jiin clan, Asura Jiin was indeed becoming far stronger.


If only Iwa had more structure to put him to more use. There were hardly any missions for him to do and they never hired his team for anything. Iwa was a mess due to the death of the Kage and now things were just sad in terms of progression. He had made pains to avoid such stupid political conflict.

Now his training took him there-- to the volcanic islands near Iwa. He had visited it once, but it was wide desolant and full of fire and lava and dried rock. There was no doubt he could freely use his powers here without worry of damages.

The scorching heat of the lava didn't bother Asura-- part due to him being so adept at fire and being part of the Jiin clan whose being is entwined with fire. Such places felt more invigorating to him. Ironically, Asura felt even at peace here, so long of course he steered clear of the mountain that had the volcanic ash.

Asura focused with a hand sign before him, trying to channel his fire. Soon his very chakra surged through him and created flames around his feet and spread about the ground. Further the flames were first bright orange-- but suddenly became a different color in the blink of an eye. Crimson red, an unnatural color. It whirled around Asura as he focused, trying to build up his control of the violent and raging red flames.

The power of the flame's rage incarnate that dwelled deep in Asura's soul.

This had been one of the only times Shadow had performed a scout mission on his own, without sending somebody else to do it. Early on, he had jumped to Iwa, and embarked to learn more of it land and mark whatever may be critical to his map. His assumption was that, with the Kage killed, that whoever attacked would try to take charge, and eventually attack his country.
He had found a volcanic island he had never been to. It was marked by his clones before they perished. Finding himself jumping from branch to branch, Shadow runs across this kid in the distance. Crouching on a branch with his full black cloak with a graffic phoenix on the back, and a full mask in which he convert to a mask that only covers his mouth. His fully awakened Sharingan eyes peer through, watching this one train. His visible skin was that of a reptilian like creature, with black cracked skin. His white hair drops down his back put in three braids.
“Do you know him Lord Ssssshadow?” a voice from within his cloak asks.
“I do not… but his powers… it seems to be that of Enton.”
“Like yourssss?” another voice asks.
“Of course… except his looks… manufactured? As an Uchiha, mine was a dormant birth right. He seems to have evolved it himself. Hmmmmm...” Shadow’s mask shot an eye range finder and began facial recognition to see if there was anything on him in the Shinobi Profiling database.
“Hmmmm… all I have gotten is a name. And he’s a… hmmmm related to him maybe?” Shadow’s mask reverted, as he jumped down from the branch and slowly stepped forward to measure how long it would take before his presence would be made known.

It was nothing close to manufactured Enton-- but a form of Enton coming from someplace completely different. Asura had awakened to powers of fire that the observer couldn't even imagine just yet. Still he would learn more in due time.

For now, Asura had no clue he was being spied on. He continued to focus on the fire he was creating. The Jiin were capable of using more powerful forms of fire known as Shinkaton , creating different shades of fire and various degrees of power that could increase a basic Katon style ninjutsu.

Asura began to perform a kata with the empowered flames of Enton. He needed no hand signs now so his observer watching would notice now that the flames were merely following his own body's motion and gestures. Despite his lack of knowing any jutsu for Enton, he was becoming stronger and stronger in his control over it.

Puzzling for anyone to know such things.

Finally, he came to a stop and took a few breaths. The flames of Enton died away, leaving scorch marks on the already blackened stone of the volcanic landscape. The rumble of thunder overhead still echoed in the landscape as Asura observed the surroundings. It truly was a god forsaken place in Iwa.

Shadow stepped in even further, way out of the shadows. It seemed the boys training had come to a slight rest. He took a kunai and threw it in between the legs of the boy, so the kunai would drop at the ground in front of him.
“And just like that, you’re dead. You aren’t very mindful of what’s around you, are you?” he said as he stepped forward more.
“You aren’t Uchiha…” Shadow said, finally making his presence known. He continued walking up to him, analyzing everything about him. He learned not to underestimate, but, other than the boys skill, he seemed virtually harmless. “What… what are you? To be able to control the Blaze Element…” continuing his analysis, Shadow stopped at a distance that was only slightly uncomfortable, but not close enough to alarm, a somewhat intimidating presence. “I think I must study you… Now tell me… how is it that you control Enton. Natural evolution? Science? I must know…”

Asura figured no one else would be here. After all it was a god forsaken place and no one would come this way at least no stranger from outside Iwa-- but he was wrong. He heard the whistle of an object come towards him and he jumped back-- finding the kunai that was thrown his way. Alarmed, he looked around but not fast enough to hear the mocking voice of a stranger.

He spun around to see him, a man cloaked in a cloak and wearing a half mask that covered his bottom face. The black color and red screamed a malevolent intent as he looked to approach Asura. Alarmed and not liking his tone of voice, Asura reached and drew his Shintou-- Crimson-- short katana weapon. His trusty and enhanced weapon. "Well, I figure not many people would be stupid enough to walk into a region with molten lava. And you think I would be dead so easily?" he asked, posing the question why anyone else would come here. But it spoke something more of Asura he didn't intend. Others wouldn't handle being in the heat and smoke of the lava field, but Asura was composed and at ease among it. He was almost unaffected by its natural heat.

Still the man approached, and making Asura even more threatened. Despite his distance, his words spoke of a sinister intent and Asura didn't like it. And he thought the rogue ninja Ravana was an annoying bastard...

"Curious of my abilities, huh?" Asura said, feinting a bit of cockiness as he glared at the intruder on his practice. "Here... have a good LOOK!"

At that moment, without even showing a single hand sign and gesture, he exhaled and roared out a blast of fire-- which soon morphed and became a strange creature similar to that of an eastern dragon in its serpintine shape. "Katon: Salamandra JUTSU!!" he shouted, the serpent of fire roaring towards the man. Not only was the lack of hand signs enough to throw him probably through a loop along with the close range, but the fact this was a guided missile jutsu, would make dodging very difficult.

If he was going to launch an attack against him, Asura returned one in kind.Even after that he was on the move now, with his sword drawn he kept an eye out for his target, prepared for a counter attack shoud one come.

(Notes: This is NOT true combat as this attack is not meant for true PVP combat, but to demonstrate his ability. The following Jutsu was used and powered up by following.

> Breathes out fire and takes the form of a large eastern style dragon. This dragon is made of fire and follows the caster's chakra. However-- the caster may easily control his chakra through the air and lead the dragon towards a target, allowing the dragon to act like a guided missile.

Shadow’s Sharingan spun at the sight of this jutsu. He smirked under his mask, as he pulled a scroll out, and performed two hand seals. The scroll lit up, as a vacuum of space had blocked the space between him and the flaming serpent. It sucked this serpent in, before revealing a seal and rolling up. Shadow grasped it and put it away. Revealing his eyes, observing the boy’s chakra.
“Cute… now… let me give you a better look…” Shadow said, as he breathed in deeply and roared the same jutsu, but as it formed, it took that of his own Black Enton before converging towards the young man, with just enough energy to do harm, but not anything fatal. It seemed Shadow’s intentions were to feel out the young child, as well as impress…

What happened next was something that caught Asura completely off guard! He had saw the flash of the eyes and next he knew not only did his own jutsu get sucked into a nearby scroll-- with a formula he had not seen before-- the man soon performed the exact same jutsu with his own power-- and turned the dragon from once orange to a black fire! Asura knew what that was. Black flames-- the trade mark of the Uchiha.

And now the same Jutsu was coming right at him. This was bad indeed. He quickly took off running but the flames would do more harm to him than he would care for, so he quickly took action. Forming a hand sign, he channeled his chakra once more.

And in a flash of fire just as the dragon would hit, he was gone...

He had used the body flicker technique, vanishing from sight in a blast of fire and soon got free of the blast, as best as he could anyway. He now appeared nearby, facing the back of his enemy.

This time, he charged and soon took one more action. with another breath, he unleashed a barrage of flames like fireballs, all of them moving in towards his attacker. The Phoenix Flower Jutsu.

Shadow had been holding back. A lot. But, that was nothing he expected to reveal. As he watched the flames come his way, he shrugged his shoulders as right before they hit him, he vanished in a flash, reappearing on the opposite side of the field, where his kunai had landed, with the use of Hiraishin No Jutsu.
With this slight advantage of surprise, he jumped forward with an open palm thrust, using simply his brute force, to show the boy exactly what he had been going up against, as he attempted to aim with his slightly elevated speed at the chest of his opponent.

Asura had pushed himself to his limit from both his training and his attacks up to now. Stupid time for him to be attacked of all things! He saw his enemy vanish almost better than he had. Just as he was about to get a lock on his position-- he was on top of him, striking with a physical blow of his hand!

Asura blocked, using his arms to guard against the attack but still, the strength of it shoved Asura clear across the blackened rock ground. He flew, fell, tumbled and skidded along the ground. Finally grasping the ground with his hands, he dragged himself to a stop, but the air was more than knocked out of him. He had went flying near 20 meters away, the man's strength formidable.

He ended up looking up to see him, and got a good look at his eyes at last. The three shinto pattern surrounding the red eyes-- the Sharigan! Asura realized he had just gotten into a fight with a truly formidable shinobi of the Uchiha clan. Ones that his clan's ancestors had issues with. Supposedly they were well acquainted and even at peace with now-- so this was a shock to him now.

"You... You're from the Uchiha, aren't you...." Asura growled in frustration and surprise, asking him despite the clear disadvantage he was at. This guy was well beyond his present level of strength.

If this guy wanted, he could kill him in an instant. Despite his abilities, this guy could do it easily. He was far more powerful than him, and this was the type of guy he would imagine wanted to 'tear him apart and examine him piece by piece for his persuits'.

Mad scientist stories scared the shit out of him!

Shadow smirked as the man opposing him had made this revelation.
“Why yes… yes I am. Uchiha Shadow. And now that I have introduced myself, you are?” he asked, as he stood up straight with his hand on his up, slouched over to the side.
“And try that thing again. The dragon. But this time…” Shadow held out his hand, and made a ball of flames. “Add a short bit of chakra just after the jutsu is conjured…” he said, as the ball, looking much like a Rasengan, turned black. He slammed it into the rock below, and through one would think the rock could not get any blacker, it did.
