The battle moved on as slowly but surely, Titan began to take damage with Asura's taijutsu and Katon style attacks. As Ravana was keeping its attention with mocking, taking its damage in strive and countering attack with his awesome strength, Asura was free to pile up damage from out of sight.
"Katon-- Great Firebird Jutsu!!" he roared and from his very body, he waved his arms forward. A fiery mass appeared out from him and a firebird like a phoenix formed. It smashed into Titan, causing another roar, but despite the beating he was taking, his large body failed to crack. He was built like a tank and just as tough to penetrate! Despit it, Asura kept going, combining his Taijutsu with his Ninjutsu to try and find some method of killing this fat bastard!
"YOU INSECTS ARE STARTING TO ANNOY ME!!!" he roared, and suddenly the ceiling began to rumble and so did the floor below them. With each passing moment, its control over the earth was going stronger and stronger. The floor was about to erupt, and so were stalagtites about to fall from the ceiling.
"MOVE !!" Asura shouted in warning as the combine multi direction attacks were causing trouble from above and below!
Asura's eyes flashed-- activating his Tengan eyes.
Earth erupted and fell upon them all, coating nearly the entire arena. However-- in that flash of earth and dust, Asura found a safe point, right under Titan himself. He crouched low, in a rather uncomfortable positoion but safe regardless. He opened his eyes, his Tengan eyes glowing with energy and awareness. He sprinted out from between his legs and circled him again. Seeing him, Titan glanced his head, spotting Asura running to try and find another vantage point of attack.
A growl escaped Titan. "ENOUGH Games!! Feel the fury of the EARTH!!" he roared.
At that very moment, he jumped!!
The guy was so big, the idea of him jumping seemed impossible. ANd he didn't just jump, he flew. He soared high into the air to the very top of the high ceiling of the cavern. And it was pretty obvious there was only one place left for him to go.
"Oh crap..." Asura groaned as he knew what was going to happen. In alarm, he looked to Ravana. "HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!!" he roared.
WIth a mighty bellow, Titan came falling back down like a meteorite. It whistled in the air from its descent and proceeded to land where it had jumped.
BOOOOM!!! The impact rocked the entire arena, making it smaller as parts of the ledge fell off. Dust and smoke went everywhere. The sheer power of the shockwave alone felt like being hit by a truck!
As the smoke cleared, Ravana looked around. He had avoided most injury, his body sturdy and strong. He had survived far worser beatings. But he couldn't see Asura anywhere. Could he of fallen off or worse get squashed by Titan's fat ass?!
"Asura!!" Ravana shouted for him. "WHere the hell are you, you spit?!"
...
...
"Jeez, don't shead tears over me, ya knucklehead." Asura grumbled.
Both Ravana and Titan seemed surprised.
A few brilliant red flames danced in the air between them. They seemed to move as if alive, then taking shape, it landed before them. THe red flames soon shaped out as if to form something and with a scatter-- the flames revealed Asura. He was standing calm and focused, as if he had never been hurt!
Asura glared at Titan with his Tengan. The Jutsu he just used was a Jutsu of Asura's own making-- called Hot Streak. Utilizing Asura's unique flames of Enton Release, he turned his entire body into the indomitable blaze. By transforming himself into the flames itself, he could maneuver around the battlefield with ease. He could slip through enemy attacks and even preposition himself in a new location.
At that time, Ravana growled with a pleased grin on his face. Almost feral pleasure. "Kid, you been holding out on me. I owe you a beating when this is over," he jested a bit.
Asura chose to ignore this as he focused to his goal. Defeating Titan.

Titan glared at Asura and his eyes, finding them vexing and dangerous despite his overwhelming strength. Asura's skill with Katon and ENton was nothing to think less off amazing. As part of the Jiin clan, he had absolute mastery over fire as if it was a part of his own body. When it came to raw destructive damage, Asura was becoming a living force of it.
"YOU INSECT!! I shall crush you for your insolence!!" Titan bellowed before throwing a fist to hit Asura.
Now it was Asura's turn to be the focus of Titan's fury as he threw the punch, but quick as Asura was-- he hopped right over the fist. He landed on the giant's rocky fist and immediately ran up it, climbing to get towards its face.
As he ran up he noticed something. The glow in the center of his chest. Dim but alit all the same. It was the Earth's Heart. The very stone that had been consumed when Titan appeared before them. It was glowing and radiating chakra, which was very likely used to power up Titan with the same power.
Still focused, Asura charged for the face and delivered his chakra blade down... but Titan was quick to act. He spun his large body, throwing Asura off and moving away. His momentum was a problem as he was thrown near the edge of the shortening platform, risking falling off!
Asura reached his blade and stabbed it into the rock slab right before he went falling off the edge! He stpped falling but more than half of his body hanging of the ledge. He looked down, able to see the lava bubbling several meters below. It was not a pleasant drop, let alone a fun idea to go diving into the lava.
A bit of sweat fell from his brow as he looked up, and hauled himself up with a single arm. He soon climbed back to the platform and pulled his sword free. Titan saw he was still there, but Asura had to think of a good strategy. Even if he could reach the heart, it was lodged in tight with all that earth. He would have to either pierce it to get it, or hit it with a strong enough Jutsu on the mark to punch his way through.
Asura tried to think of the ways he could do it. He could use more stronger versions of Katon but it wouldn't do no much burn than blast.
But there was one option he could try...

"DIEEE!!!" Titan roared, lifting his leg and stomping to the ground again. THe Earth below began to glow, signaling another violent eruption and ground swelling to throw them off.
Asura quickly ran towards him. As the ground swells went off, he jumped and doged. HIs Tengan could see the flow of attacks, as if moving in slow motion to his eyes. He weaved around each explosion and finally jumped over the 'landslide' wave that would of otherwise sent him flying off the platform.
He had to get closer. He wasn't willing to just keep hacking away at it. He knew he had to use his strongest Jutsu possible to stop this bastard! As he got closer, he drew his fingers back, suddenly causing blue flames to burn in its place. HIs Shinkaton method to power up more katon base Jutsu.
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!!" he roared and shot out a mighty blue fireball, burning far hotter than others before. The firebal shot forward and hit Titan! The blast obscured his vision as well as surprise him.
Further, Ravana got into the fray. WIth a bellow, he struck his own melee combat to Titan, actually forcing the gian't center of gravity off. The blow he made was so strong, Titan began to reel back. MOre and more--- till finally he let out a cry of confusion as he fell backwards!! CRash! He fell flat on his back, unable to get up and stunned to have been knocked off his feet.
Now was Asura's chance!!
He jumped right at Titan's feet, and gathered all the chakra he had! The flames and smoke that licked the battlefields around him gathered, swirling around him as they became red crimson flames. His Enton style. He felt the chakra building up inside him as well as the mighty heat Enton created. It was as if it was manifestating the very fires in his soul!
At that moment , he 'jumped' and in a flash of red flame-- erupted, becoming three crimson flame flares that shot skyward! The flames spiraled upward like fireworks, leaving trails of smoke behind them. Ravana stopped and looked in interest as well as the flames reached for the ceiling of the cavern.
As they did, the flames combined once more-- and Asura appeared, as if pulled together from the flames and given his body again! He ascended a few, gravity keeping him suspended for a few seconds as he was at the very ceiling. Touching the ceiling, he flipped and planted his feet to the ceiling for what moments he had-- and kicked off to go right back down! At that moment, Enton flames ERUPTED from his Feet and Fists as he did so! The blasts were like thrusters on a rocket! His descent became faster, flying downward at a blur of speed and fire!
"Phoenix Art!!" Asura roared, aimed to hit right into Titan's chest where the heart was! "Dying Sun Reincarnation!!"
KA-BOOOOOOM!!! WOOOSSH!!! The impact into the creature caused an explosion in all directions as if Asura had been a missile and had exploded upon impact. Red flames burned in all directions, causing Ravana to get low as the powerful Red Flames washed over the entire area. He was unharmed but the method of the blast was surprising to come form his pupil. Titan also made a loud roar of pain, being struck as the epicenter of the impact!
Titan groaned and stopped moving. The flames danced around the arena, flickering off Titan as well as stray parts of the Arena. However, Asura was no where to be seen. It was as if he blew himself up...
...
but soon the smoke and embers began to move. Glowing red still, they moved through the air to the point where Asura had hit Titan. Like before they coalesced together, forming a silhouette made out of flames. And as it finally took solid shape-- the flames bursted apart, revealing Asura safe and sound!
"WHOOO!!" Asura shouted as he finally was pulled back together via his chakra. "WHat a RUSH!!" he cheered, having felt a great surge of adrenaline from his attack. Despite propelled into his enemy and blowing up, his jutsu somehow managed to return to his normal body and even made him look as if he didn't suffer a scratch.
A formidable jutsu that utilized his own body for a powerful blast, and allowed him to reconstruct his body afterward. It was a surprising jutsu.

The attack left on Titan did the trick. After a groan, its entire body began to radiate chakra like smoke. The cracks on its body began to spread. As the last of its limbs went limp, the body began to waft chakra freely. The center of its chest glowed once more and like glass-- the body of Titan shattered into shards of light and small bits of earth, scattering back.
The kobolds who had been watching from the safety of the other side of the ravine looked horrified that their beloved "Earthfather" was defeated! "WKAAAKAKA!! Titan ahs fallen!! Fallen!!" they wailed in dismay! "REtweat! Retweat!!" they shouted, and fled, leaving for the safety of the other caves. They fled in fear, leaving the caves and Asura and Ravana alone.
As everything calmed down, Asura turned to look at where Titan had been. The Earth's Heart still glowed and was still in tact. His attack had aimed right for the heart. He was grateful that it had not been broken by all the damage he had inflicted. Cautiously, he bent down and picked up the rock, being as big as a football. Though a tad heavy, he lifted it easily and felt the chakra it gave off like a soft breeze against him. It was warm and flowed across his body just by holding it.
WHAM!! Ravana had snuck up behind him and gave Asura a somewhat-friendly punch to the head, nearly making him fall over. It hurt a bit, but Ravana merely meant it as a jest as he swiftly wrapped his arm around Asura's head in a choke hold . He looked at Asura with a grin as he felt his breathing tightened a bit. "YOu crafty little brat! Doujutsu, turning into flames, you are full of tricks aren't you?" he bellowed with amusement.
"Kakg!!" Asura choked, surprised by the sudden hold on him. "Gah, let go. Can't breath... " he said, tapping the man's arm.
Despite that, Ravana took his fist and grind it into Asura's head, giving him a noogie. "Think ya can keep secrets huh? Ya little shit, you may be a worthy opponent yet!" he said with a laugh, clearly his version of praise despite the pain he was causing. After a moment, he lightened his grip, allowing Asura to breathe again.
After that, Asura ducked under and got out of Ravana's sweaty grip. "Damn, your freakishly strong," he growled. and checked the rock in his arm. "Well, we got what we came for." he said.
"Not quite just yet," Ravana corrected. A grin showed on his face and if his eyes were not glowing pure white, Asura could of sworn he saw a gleam of delight. " We still have some sorting to do." he said and pointed a thumb behind his shoulder.
Across the small ravine, which they could now easily jump over, there was a large pile of stuff the kobolds had left behind. Looking across, trying to see through the rather yellow glow of crystals and lava glow-- he saw it. Gold and riches. The Kobolds had horded quite a bit of loot, gold money and trinkets. Precious metals that glimmered in the cave's light.
Asura had to admit, Ravana made an excellent point. "It be a shame to let that go to waste, right Asura?" he said.
This time, Asura's sigh was one of resignation and relief. "I can get behind that," he said as they jumped across the ravine, heading to examine their spoils.

The journey back out of the cave was simple as to follow the openings that Ravana made. Despite the length it wasn't as bad and they didn't find any more kobolds around. The only thing that held them up was hauling all the treasure they had gathered from the kobolds lair. This Asura couldn't help but agree with Ravana. All that treasure would go to waste otherwise. Asura could get quite a bit from some of it-- after still arguing with Ravana how to split it. THe greedy bastard wanted alot.
Soon they were greeted by the sweet sight of daylight as they emerged from the cave. Asura stretched and smelled the sweet air of freedom. All the while he kept a firm grip on the Earth's Heart stone. "Ah... finally we are out!" he said, taking a deep breath. Ravana came out behind him, the large back of loot swung over his back.
"So what now?" Ravana asked.
Asura turned to him, perplexed by his question. "obviously, we take the stone back to the temple. I'm sure the monks will be happy to see it back with them." he said.
Ravana tilted his head in lack of interest. "If we must... stupid prudes," he grumbled. "But I'm keeping our haul."
"I won't even bring it up to them," Asura replied and began to make his way back for the shrine.
The walk back there didn't take long as he soon hopped up the steps using his chakra-- scaling it fast. At that time, he flipped and landed at the temple entrance, startling many of the monks there. Asura stood up with a smile and revealed the stoke to them. They looked both surprised and relieved as they saw the stone.
"As promised," Asura said, holding the chakra stone. He held it out to the lead monk, offering back to him.
The man shakily took the stone, amazed that he got it in a matter of hours. "Oh, thank you , young man! You are truly a blessing! Thank you so much!" he said happily, grateful for Asura's deeds.
Asura smiled as he held his hands behind his back patiently. "My pleasure sure. But now that its returned, may I now undergo the means to awaken Earth nature Chakra?" he asked.
THe monks exchanged glances, and the main one turned to Asura with a smile. "That is not nessisary, young man. You see, you already have it now." He said.
Asura blinked, a bit confused. "Eh, what?" he said.
"One's means to unlock Earth Nature chakra, is by allowing the chakra of the Earth's Heart to wash over you. And if I can assume, you retreiving it likely did just that. " the monk explained, gesturing to the stone in his hand. "It radiates a special chakra that allows those who have Earth Style to enhanse their abilities, but also helps others awaken the potential to use Earth style as well. ANd If I assume right, you fought a powerful enemy of the earth. That fight alone would allow you to understand Earth's power and potential. "
Asura was a bit surprised. He didn't feel any different, aside from the exhaustion he used in his fight with Titan and the Kobolds. Despite it all he felt stronger now. His muscles and adrenaline still pumping.
"It is a great power of endurance and strength. I am not sure what made you decide to choose the path of Earth," The monk said, showing a smile of pride for the young shinobi. "But I am honored you did and I am grateful you came and helped us. Thank you. "

"Again, I was happy to help," Asura said as he smiled at the temple monks.
THe lead monk handed the Earth's Heart to one of his colleagues and they took it inside. The temple looked far better than it had been upon his arrival. The statues had been re-erected and the damages sealed up a bit. At least now, Asura felt more assued the Kobolds wouldn't risk coming back, not after the beating Ravana and he did. "YOu have our humble gratitude," he said and took out a small sack of Ryo. "Please, take this as thanks for your hard work. "
Asura saw it but he felt guilty to, especially since they already had a haul of treasure. "No, really I couldn't. I was happy to help. " he protested.
Still, the monk went to Asura and took his arm. He opened his hand and put the coin purse into it. "After all you have done, we do owe you this. DOn't worry. Thank you, young shinobi."
Realizing it was a kind gesture, Asura nodded and was grateful as well. He had gotten what he needed and now had the ability to learn Earth style Jutsu. He bowed in respect to the monks, and with that began to turn and leave for the road again, where Ravana was waiting.
Asura hopped down the steps, finding Ravana at the foot of it with the sack of loot still over his arm. HEaring him, he turned and see Asura hop down the final series of steps, landing easily to the ground. "Everything go well?" he asked the red headed ninja.
Asura smirked and tossed the coin purse in his hand up and down. "Yep. As much of a pain in the ass you are, thanks for coming, Ravana." Asura said.
Ravana grunted. "Ravana, Sensei to you, brat!" he corrected, but more jesting. Asura gave him a curt glance, but he just laughed. In a way, Asura understood. Despite it all, he was his mentor and sensei. He was still loyal to Master Roku, but Ravana showed him things that Roku didn't. He was proud to be both of their students. "Come on, kid, let's get going! We got an awesome haul to go through. Remember, I get half! Hahaha!" he bellowed.
As they walked down the road, Asura continued to bicker with his Mentor. "Oh come on! I get a good share. I'm the one who needs money. "
"Well tough luck, brat! When I get back, I'm hitting the casinos and hotsprings. I am sure some young ladies will not resist me with all this gold for them to wear. " he boasted.
"That again?" Asura groaned. "YOu are a bad influence, you know that?"
"Heh... I should drag you along. It would make a man out of you," he boasted.
"you're incouragable">
They argued the whole way back to Iwa, their goal complete and Asura with a new power to exercise.
