Event: The Start of the Hour Glass - Phase 1

The fight was soon over as Naga performed his own impressive skills against the poor remaining suckers of snakes. But now the last of them were gone. Feeling more content to relax, Asura landed to the ground in a crouch and stood up. Looking around, the last of the snakes were dispatched. With the immediate threat gone, Asura turned to Naga with a cocky grin on his face.

"Looks like I win our little wager, Naga. I killed way more snakes than you did," he said, partly teasing to break the tension of the immediate battle to come once the barrier was dispelled. He flashed Naga a smirk, showing he was confident in the trials ahead.

With the barrier hitting zero, it was only a matter of time before it popped and allowed them into the interior of the island. But for what pause of time they had, it was important for them to recover waht strength they needed.

While Asura had a ... distaste for Naga and his 'better than you' attitude, he extended an offer to him. "Here, take it," Asura said, offering one of the water bottles he had bought back in Suna. It was moments like these that Asura knew taking extra time was important to buy the tools they needed. "Don't argue and take it, will you. It's just water. But it will restore chakra should you need it.)

After that, he took a bottle for himself an drank the water, it cooling his throat and feeling more refreshed. He wanted to make sure his energy was restored before they proeeded forward. As he drank he looked past the barrier and towards the light in the distance. Things were changing, but they had the strength to stop it. He was sure of it!

+ Nice you have made your towards the center of the island, the defeat of the snake guards seem to be the only thing guarding the area it seems.

Otsutsuki Island

- The land shows the battle and fallen snakes warriors that were defeated. As each one seemed to be lay in defeat the bodies would soon vanish turning into a mush as they began fusing together into one massive being sliding towards the strange vortex that lead to the past. Soon rising the creature smiled with its fangs opening widely. “You come to the wrong land humans…” the head of the figure soon split into hundreds of others with its shoulder having a number of ‘100’ on it with its body soon being covered with a silver/gold armor mixed as it soon came together taking a large step.

Hyakuorochimaru(Soon a voice could be heard connecting to the mind of the humans on the field.) It seems you both prove to be strong…but you all will fail…soon the past will be changed and nothing you do will stop us. But if you believe you can even stop us then lets see!

-Soon the figure pulled his arms back getting ready for the battle to begin. –

(Past) Battle of Mantan Uchiha Vs Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha

- The boys lay unable to move and out cold leaving only Mantan staring at the large tree that created the Juubi. Soon floating upwards to it he placed only hand on it absorbing its powers into his body and smiling once again with his eyes widely opening with everything coming to past. The future era was now changing slowly with the bijuus of the future slowly vanishing as it would seem they never existed but soon the sky would turn dark with a half red moon would soon start to appear within the night sky as a maroon sun also would exist.

Orochimaru (Future Era) It has started…Dokujamaru let’s return back to our world shortly everything has started for us all.

Dokumaru Yes sir, what about Mantan?

Orochimaru (Future Era) He has started…meaning everything is now set once we return he shall be there waiting for us as well.

Mantan Uchiha (Laughing with the power flowing through him the man soon closed his eyes only to fall backwards into the earth as it swallowed him whole vanishing from sight.)

- The portal stayed open though allowing one to pass through still as the other two figures were not anywhere near thus allowing time to travel back to rewrite everything and stopping everything in the future.  However it seems the portal is becoming unstable thus the power is slowly fading it seems the time for it to be completely gone is in 2 days.

+ Seems the first battle starts now against the massive humanoid snake beast. As the battle for the future we live in now is in trouble the sky above us all has also changed it seems be on guard something is different about this enemy. Even with the portal still remains open it seems, I wonder what the choice for everyone will be.

IT was at that time the barrier of the island vanished, shattering like fragments of frail glass. He twirled his blade, satisfied by the combat they did. He itched for a real challenge-- but then things changed.

Just as Asura was about to feel more confident in their situation, a creepy voice echoed through the air and their minds! He stopped and turned, holding his chakra blade in concern. "Naga, please tell me that was yours or your cow's stomach..." he said in half jest. The snakes that they had just vanished into a strange blob. They dissolved and out of nowhere-- began to gather in form. It took on a shape-- becoming One humanoid monster with many snake heads and the number 100 on his shoulder.

"Wow... " Asura said, gawking at the snake. "Must be very hard for you to find clothes that fit with so many heads" he jested, trying to break the dread that the snake caused in their minds.

Right now he gripped his sword. His raging fighting spirit was itching to burn this snake to ashes-- but more was at stake now. Originally, he was going to run past the minions and get right to the heart of the matter. ANd that was the very likely plan they would have to do.

Taking a step back to Naga, he looked to him and whispered. "Listen... this guy may be big and tough, and I am sure fighting him would throw some wrench into the enemy's plans... but we don't have the time." he said, seeing the sky growing more and more aggitated. Whatever future was changing, it grew more and more dangerous. "If we truly believe time travel is the source of this, then fighting this guy is a waste of time-- but look."

In the center of the island, they could clearly tell now-- it was a time portal that took them somewhere in the past. And it must of been a critical change in history. Turning to Naga, Suijin proposed the plan. "We gotta fight this on the true battle front. While I dont know everything, but whatever happens in the past is affecting the future here. Fighting this guy may not do us a damn thing." he said, glaring at the snakes. He very much wanted to throw a fireball jutsu and barbecue the snakes. But right now, as Master Roku would say-- it was time to think with their minds and not with their fire.

"If I could, I would send in Pyro Clones to search the area on the other side of the portal so we can fight on both fronts, but there is no guarantee that will work," Asura said, and glanced at Naga. "But if we go quick enough-- we may be able to stop this at the source-- stop what was changed in the past. If we do that, scale-face here won't even be a problem."

He wanted to believe what changes could be done in the past would have a more immediate result in the present. It was a risk they had to take. "What do you think? I say we try for the portal and tackle the real root of the problem." he suggested.

Naga was focused more on the upcoming task at hand, this was interrupted by a voice in Naga's head. Kenji kept walking as Naga paused to looked behind him. "Strange, am I the only one that hears that?" he thought to himself. He then turned to ask Asura if he was hearing what Naga was hearing, the same confused look on Asura's face said it all. "Since when do stomach growls speak actual words, Asura?" Naga swiftly answered. Although he was a sensory type, it was hard for him to get a good gauge of the new beings chakra. Naga looked at awe at the creature. "Surprising...cliché, but still surprising." He thought to himself. At this time Kenji came running back to Naga sensing that something was wrong. Although he was one to cover all his tracks and take care of things before they blew up out of proportion; he could not help but feel as though enough time was wasted here already. The more that they spent here, they more that mission failure seemed more likely.

Surprisingly enough, Asura's plan of action mimicked Naga's. "yes, I was thinking the same. I'm sure that this will probably come back to bite us in the ass in the future, but I feel like that is just something that we will have to risk. If worse comes to worse we will take care of this guy if he shows up again, but for now we should skip ahead." without saying much more Naga took off for the time portal, with Kenji following closely behind. Finally! They were in agreement! Realizing what was at risk, with one last sly look at the snake-- the two ran for the portal in the center of the island! Asura jumped across the trees, branches rocks and sprinted as fast as he could the portal in sight. While he had no clue where it would go or how far back into the past it would go-- Asura showed no fear as he and Naga charged into the portal. All went bright as he sprinted faster and into the portal, knowing only god knew where he would end up.

(READY and entered the portal)

(OOC: Because you are getting busy with things Wulf it is truly up to you rather or not you wish to continue the event, if possible. If you cannot continue the event because of the things that are happening I can rewrite the next post to show that you jumped through the portal but cannot help within battles. I can take only minor control not full if that helps ease things for you. At the same time you will not be penalized for taking that option.)

+ Finally, things seem to have moved the way it was meant to be. As you see the vortex that you have taken has no launched you through time and space. I shall explain this very carefully and detailed. The point in time the vortex is set to is BEFORE the enemy take control of the Juubi from Madara. So this gives you a chance to change the future. So now that is said you have to be sure to be the ones that set time right and escape with your lives.

Otsutsuki Island

- The island would soon show the future era as it was taken over by the Orochimaru’s experiments and power. Soon the land of the ancestors was no destroyed leaving nothing but the destruction and the rebirth of the Juubi’s tree. Future was no changed forever and villages and countries were non existence. The powers of the world was now in the hands of the legendary Sennin Orochimaru. But those that fell into the vortex were now able to change the future and set its course back on track.

(Past)+(Players Arrival) Arrival of Hope Vs Orochimaru family.

- Mantan, Orochimaru and Dokumaru were now before the battle seeing the legendary shinobi Uchiha Madara with the powers of the statue gripping around the tailed beasts. Smiling at this the paled figure only waited for the right moment for his attack to even happen. The other two figures waited as the vortex they came from was still open.

Orochimaru (Future Era) Now, Mantan listen when he captures the tailed beast forming the Juubi is when you shall strike as for me and Dokumaru we shall hold the position here now get going.

Uchiha Mantan Yes father –The shinobi would then vanish leaving the two to watch from a distances.

Dokumaru Father, once he obtains this power of the Juubi, will the world truly be yours to take?

Orochimaru Yes, we will finally have the knowledge and power of how this world truly works and I can answer the questions that was left before us.

- They would continue to stand guard by the portal waiting seeing the tailed beast soon be absorbed into the statue as Madara was beginning to create the Juubi once more.

+ Hmm, didn’t this already happen…. Oh that’s right the portal is only connected to this time frame. Meaning you’ll end up before the world even changed. However the future you are from is forever lost unless you can stop these characters from distorting time. Hard to believe…they are messing up the timeline this badly. Be on guard though as you will possibly be facing a powerful enemy in the end.

Asura had no doubts about his plan and accepted the risks. He had spent enough time on that stupid boat how time travel could work. While this jutsu to travel backwards in time sounded delicate, he could still use it to his advantage. He would use this same advantage to his enemeis and hopefully what came out on the other side would be something he knew.

Asura finally exited the blinding light tunnel of the portal and emerged onto the desolated landscape. He took a brief moment to look around noticing the sheer chaos of this place. He didn't know WHERE he was or WHEN He was but he put it together when he noticed a massive army in the distance, mass destruction, and a few giant glowing constructs in the distance.

Amazing... I know this. This is the Forth Shinobi War, the fight of the-- he thought but then he noticed them. The two dangerous looking figures before the portal. Crap-- he thought in alarm, his face in a grimace. Without a second thought he knew getting caught would mean he was dead. He immediately weaved hand signs and ended with a tiger seal. Ninja Art: Meisai Gakure - Camouflage Concealment Jutsu, he thought...

At that moment, he faded from sight, into a transparent form. If any of them were to even suspect someone was behind them, they would see nothing as Asura was now concealed thanks to the use of this jutsu. For now he would be unnoticed, unless they were an exceptional sensory shinobi. If he was lucky-- they were from this era and just happened to be there. In either way, he couldn't be seen or interact with them to screw up the timeline further. Worst case-- which it was-- they were guarding the portal and were responsible for this mess. And if they noticed him, he was as good as dead. Two on one was not a fight he wanted to risk.

Looking around while under the guise of his jutsu, he noticed the event going on. The moment Madaraa revived the 10 tails. Of all time for them to come back, but it was very likely by design. What better way to warp the past by changing such a critical event. And if anything, Asura could only suspect with this much power in one place, it be enough for the enemy to do whatever the hell they wanted.

And once more, he noticed that one person-- Martan run off and listening to the people, he was after the 10 tails. That raised an alarm in Asura's head. If he was indeed the enemy, he would interfere and cause this great change. So he knew he had to stop him before he even interfered. And he certainly didn't recognize his face from any historical scroll. But now Asura knew his plan.

While still cloaked and hidden, Asura sneaked passed Orochimaru and Dokumaru as quickly as he could and once he was far enough away, sprinted off running after Martan! If he was the agent to cause the change, then Asura regonized him as his first target.

Moving as fast as he could, he ran for where the battle would begin and look for this Martan figure. While he didn't want to get close to that big show down and the awesome power of the 10 tails, he knew the enemy intended to get there as well. He had to spot him, before he made his move.

"You're not getting away from me. You're not the only one to change the future," Asura said softly to himself as he ran, building up chakra. "Tengan!"

WIth a flash of his eyes, he activated his Tengan doujutsu. The power of it could see through more than just illusion, but accelerate it. Meaning of Martan was somewhere, even in hiding or merely moving at high speed, he would find him among the field. He had to find him and soon, or he would get the 10 tails and change history, then it would be too late. Even as strong as Asura had become, he doubted he could contend with anyone with the ten tails.
