~The Red Rose Fades~ {Group|DM|Gesshoku Akatsuki}

The whole lot of them appeared in the Uchiha complex of Konoha village. All twelve of them had stood firmly with matching robes and their respective Gessoku masks, looking down on the ground below. The sun had just began to break. Hayabusa could see the small huddle of people around a shrine built specifically for Kokoro. There had been an eerie feeling. Shadow turned to the left, seeing around the entrance of the complex, somebody familiar approaching. Hayabusa and all within his squad had dropped down onto the ground, retracting their masks to where their faces were revealed. Hayabusa walked slowly, as his team all fell back.
There had to have been no more than twenty people here. The only two in which were familiar so far, were his two former employers, Kokoro’s father, and a man named Muramasa, who had been old, yet very wise. He looked at the two, who looked at him in return. He slightly bowed to them, before he continued on.
One man looked at him and studied him deeply. His eyes didn’t leave him, as if he were in awe, or confused, or all of it in the same go. He had an eye patch on, yet it was on the same side as Genshin, who he had then looked back to, meeting a long gaze of a mixed feeling. Hayabusa did not notice, but the other members of the team did.
“Uncle…” Kasumi asked quietly. “Who is that man there staring at you…” she asked.
“I have a feeling that, by the end of this ceremony, you’ll find out…” he said. Hayabusa went up to the shrine now, laying his hand on the casket for a few moments in silence…

It was always the same on these kinds of days. The sky was always dark and gloomy and filled with rain. It was almost as if one of the ninja in the village would purposefully cast a ninjutsu of sadness in the sky.

“It’s always the same” Mei-Lee asked as she stood behind Heise. Whatever Heise said next was covered by a thunderous roar in the sky. His mind raced with thoughts of what happened to Kokoro and Shizou. He turned around and looked at Mei-Lee. She was probably the only one who can read what seemed to be like an emotionless face.
Heise had been griefed with guilt, sadness, fear and much more. Mei-Lee reached for her bag and grabbed the Monkey Anbu Mask and handed it to him while also pulling her umbrella out hand holding it over both their heads.

Heise analyzed as Hayabusa moved closer and placed his hands on the crate.
“Before we go… Shizou would like to say a few words.” Heise said as he crossed his hands. The other a few of the other Gesshoku members stared at him even his own partner shadow stared. It wasn’t customary to allow a lieutenant any kind of words at a ceremony such as this.

“I Killed Kokoro” Shizou Began.

Hayabusa indeed looked at Heise as if he were crazy. Why would Shizou want to speak? Did he even know Kokoro? He hadn’t even met Shizou before Heise introduced them. It was then , he heard the words…
‘I killed Kokoro.’… there had been an eerie silence in the air. He could tell that some of his members were looking his way, looking to see how he would react. Hayabusa is usually the calm and collective type, so something such as may have left questions as to what he had been ready to do. Hayabusa turned his back, and slowly began to walk back the way in which he came, with balled up fists, lost in his own thoughts. Part of him wanted to blame his ‘brother’. He verbally expressed that he didn’t trust him from the moment he met him; granted it was only because he thought that his intentions were to befriend Heise, and kill him to achieve Mangekyou. It was not his decision to make, however…
Hayabusa looked up as his team. This ceremony had been flooded with the robes of the newly reformed Gesshoku Akatsuki. He scanned the area for his own ‘clone’ posing as his alter ego, Shadow. He sighted him far ahead, preoccupied with two other people. He looked at everyone else. There had been no other Commander aside from Heise there, so his next question had to be answered by the members that had been there.
“It’s against the Gesshoku Akatsuki way to turn a blade towards another member unless you are challenging for their position of power, Hayabusa…” Hayate, his older brother, mentioned. He knew exactly what Hayabusa had been thinking to himself.
“Is it not treason?” Hayabusa asked.
“He didn’t kill any of our own… within the Gesshoku…”
“She was Heise’s nominee for one of the five…” Eliot mentioned.
“It wasn’t official yet…” Ayane also mentioned. Hayabusa continued to think. He could not make a loophole to his own structure. He turned around, looking at the man. Genshin and the mysterious man, the man who happened to be Shizou’s father, continued to engage in a stare. It wasn’t even broken when Shizou said what he said; it made sense, he knew they bother had an expiration on their lives, and he expected something like this to happen… he thought maybe he put her out of her misery, as he had did to Shizou’s mother…
“Take it off…” Hayabusa said. He stared at him, from afar, as blurry as he was due to Hayabusa’s losing of his sight. “Take off that cloak. I dare you…” Hayabusa said, as he began to unbutton his cloak from the inside, much like the fashion in which one of his forefathers, Uchiha Itachi, did.
“Hayabusa…” Kasumi began, quietly. Genshin, finally weighing it, put his hand on her shoulder. He may have begun to understand what was going on here…

Through the rambling of the committee and delegates, Heise remained quiet. It wasn’t his position to say anything. Mei-Lee tugged on his cloak hoping he’d intervene. But he couldn’t. Hayabusa and Hayate were correct. Treason was only punishable by death.

“The Rules of the 12 are final Shizou. You committed a crime against your brethren. As did I. Your only option is a battle for your freedom.” Heise didn’t bother to mention a battle of himself and any of the other 10 members who stood there. By far he was undoubtedly the second strongest in mechanical knowledge and skill.

Shizou nodded agreeing as he slowly began to remove the cloak from around his body. His eyes flashed a red lotus as he cried crimson tears.
“I’ve waited a while for this, brother” Shizou said.

Heise noticed the surroundings and was not so easily happy. He raised one hand and formed a seal. Immediately branches from the ground rose around the coffin and sealed it away safe from damage.
“Heise, You are not allow to intervene.” Shizou said as he drew a katana from his pouch.

The Sage flinched not a single muscle nor did he disagree with the command. Only silence now weighed in on them.
“It’s funny” Shizou said as he prepared himself, “She talked about you till her dying breath.”

Hayabusa looked at the man opposite of him, as he drew his blade. He looked behind him, at the other members. They all looked at each other, then nodded in confirmation. Hayabusa looked into the man’s eyes, staring at them. It all began to make sense.
“You killed her… you killed her for those eyes you shine. Typical Uchiha…” Hayabusa said, as he fully opened his cloak, revealing his form fitting Puppetry Torso that he has only had to reveal a few times in his life time so far. Here, he expected to display dominance. His whole team had been watching. The Scorpion tail attached to the armor extracted, loosening it’s hinges. The blades at the wrist began to turn, activating as well. He dropped his gourd and baskets on the ground behind him, touching them each.
The team began to form a large circle around them, being sure to clear an area in which innocence would not get hurt. Fugaku stood next to Genshin.
“I don’t like this…” he said.
“I wouldn’t either, Fugaku. You went your whole life, trying to avoid this… this is why you kept your distance from your son… from Hayabusa…” Genshin replied.
“I’ve seen that boy before… he used to work for Muramasa and then branched to Kokoro’s father here in Konoha.” He said. He looked at Kokoro’s father from a distance, who seemed so empty. “There is a bright side…” Fugaku mentioned. “… this was inevitable… for both Kokoro and  Shizou to die… their disease….” He stopped, and looked at Genshin. “You know…I may be wanting that back…” Fugaku said.
“Hmmm… let’s not forget… this… this belongs to Hayabusa. And that’s the way it will be. He may have offspring without the gene…” he said.
“Fair enough… After all, you’re correct. That Sharingan is and always will be Hayabusa’s…” he said, mentioning the eye behind Genshin’s eyepatch, revealingly belonging to himself.

“I won’t go lightly on you…” Hayabusa mentioned to his opponent.

With the battlefield clearing it’s way, Shizou watched as his opponent began to take him seriously. A moment of pain struck a chord in his body and his mind mentally gripped his heart. It was killing him faster. The final act had to be done. There was no time for playing around.

“From Your ashes, a new Phoenix shall rise” Shizou said as his body began to light up with a golden aura. Immediately his body was transferred into a giant golden avatar reminiscent of a Japanese warrior.

Heise himself was shocked at how Shizou was able to use such a skill with the recent amount of time gained to acquire the Mangekyo.

The golden samurai now towered over the the tiny puppeteer.

Hayabusa looked up at the emerging figure. This quickly changed the circumstance. They were standing on an already wrecked complex. He now went from just wanting to defeat him, to wanting to defeat him with minimum damage. He was almost certain that those in Konoha would realize a battle was going on, if it was prolonged for long enough. I could not play with his food before eating this time.
“It feels good, doesn’t it…” Hayabusa said, as he looked up at the opposing Uchiha. “Shame… you might not be aware of its weakness… this will be short lived!” He yelled as he ran forth. He activated his Fully Awakened Sharingan, as he could now lock onto his opponent. He lifted his arms, allowing Sand to form at his feet, lifting him now into the air, as he hovered up to the man’s level. He looked him the eye. “You’ve got just a few opportunities to take me out before your chakra is drained. And trust me… it will drain…” Hayabusa performed seals, and the ground beneath the standing Susano began to melt, making a huge swamp in which would begin sink the Susano’o in and get it stuck if successful…

Shizou stood still allowing himself and the susanoo to be captured. It was nothing to him. With his new found powers he’d be able to break free of it.
“Come Hayabusa!” Shizou Yelled atop his avatar.

Heise watched from a distance unsure of the fight. He wondered if Shizou was really going to let Hayabusa win that easy. Though it was escalating out of control really fast. He wondered if the higher ups in the village had noticed by now the chakra.
“End this now” Heise said as he began tapping his finger on the side of his arm.

Hayabusa looked at the trapped Susano’o. It could prevent all damage from its front in its current state. He could lecture how Shizou messed up, getting captured and not even moving. He didn’t care much to do so. He hovered above the Susano’o, now trapped some, and his Scorpion tail began to outstretch in a way that showed it was tensing. Just then, Hayabusa’s body flinched to the side, and like a snake, the tail extended and stabbed in between the ribs at the back of the Susano’o, it’s weak point, twice, aiming directly at the man in the middle…
