“This is just… wild…” Fugaku said.
“I know…” Kokoro replied. “I feel different… I have less than a year to live… but I feel healthy. I feel strong. I have spent decades with my son and Hayabusa in the world he created for us… so death no longer scares me. I have lived a lifetime… I have just one more year to leave Shizou all that I can.”
“Do you think it wise to go see your father? With your life having an expiration on it… it’ll break him again.”
“I know but… Shizou needs to know his Grandfather…”
“Ok… may I suggest… you keep your distance? I’ll come up with something to tell your father…”
“Hmmm… maybe so…” she said. “I’ll have to keep a mask on to hide my identity… especially for what I want to do next…”
“Which is?” Fugaku asked her.
“Obtain a Seven Swordsman Blade…” she said. “I can have you take him to my father during our duration here…”
“Hmmm… very well…” he said as they began to dock. “You’re the Phoenix after all…”
