Heart of Earth (Sage Training ) (Training Dummy Used)

Asura's head and back throbbed from the beatings he had gotten from Vidav's slapstick. Literally. Never did he think he would endure so much physical fatigue to just meditate and learn to control the flow of Nature in his own body. He had bruises all over his body.

"You must not move. Even a twitch of your nose is enough to break your focus." Vidav said as he stood over Asura. "If you didn't have an abundance of chakra to start with, you would of turned into a tiger cub instantly. "

Asura rubbed his head and neck, his body sore from the beatings. "I'm really sorry, Lord Vidav. I am trying my best." he said, his tone showing a sense of shame.

It had been 3 days since he started this form of training, and he only was able to tolerate so much at one time.

Vidav used the stick and scratched his whiskers in thought. He pondered for a moment, then turned away to the mountains. "Why don't we try something different. Come. Follow me," Vidav said.

Asura stood up and soon Vidav led the way at ninja speed. For an old tiger, he was still limber on his feet and Asura chased after him through the jungle canopy.

Vidav led Asura to another cave in the same mountain where the two of them had first met. The white tiger led him into the cave systems that ran through the mountain-- till they reached a section where stalagmites and stalactites stretched everywhere, with no real solid ground aside a platform near the end of the cavern.

"This here is where we will continue," Vidav said and took a slab of rock from the side of the cavern. With ease, he handed it to Asura. "I want you to balance this plank on one of the stalagmites and meditate on it. This will force you to maintain your balance and stillness, or else you will fall off."

Asura looked into the depths of the cavern-- to find nothing but the sharp stone spikes jutting out from the ground. Sweat fell from his brow as he observed it. "Um, is this the sage-equivilant to 'trial by fire'?"

Vidav shoved the plank into Asura's hands. "I'll be here if you need help. But no point in chickening out. "

The meditation in the depths of the caves were not ideal, but the results were better than Asura would of thought. The need to be absolutely still, or the result of death by impalement from the spikes below.

Also im a meditative state, Vidav was balanced on one of the stone points with just his paws. He too kept his balance, as Asura did. Though there were moments of a slight wobble, Asura recovered and returned to his still position.

However, they were not alone. Having kept an eye on him through his training, Chigatsumi and Bloody Mist both watched with amusement as Vidav trained Asura. They got a kick at whenever Asura had been swatted with the stick to stop his transformation.

As they saw the progress he made, both twins looked to each other with a devious grin.

Slowly and silently, the two tigers got closer. They clung to the stalagmites of the cave and moved with ease towards Asura-- and out of sight from Vidav. With their dark fur, they blended in easily. Slowly, Bloody Mist got closer to Asura and took out something from his pocket.

The tiger-ninja drew out a small feather and leaned in close to Asura towards his face. "Coochi-coochi-coo..." the Tiger whispered and ticked the feather near Asura's nose.

The brow of Asura tightened at the sensation. His body trembled, and once more his features began to take on more cat-like features.

WACK!!

"YOUCH--- whoah!" Asura gasped. He recovered from the slap of Vidav's staff and quickly moved to regain his balance.

Chigatsumi and Bloody Mist on the other hand, at the far end of the cavern, laughed in a fit as they saw Asura get smacked for losing focus. "Haha-- oh that never gets old! Bahaha..." Bloody Mist laughed.

"I know, right brother?" Chigatsumi said.

"AHEM!" Both tigers stopped ans they looked up, and soon saw Vidav standing over them from a perch on one of the stone spikes.

"Uh-oh..." both tiger said in unison.

WHACK!!

"GAAH!" Bloody Mist growled and gribbed his head, the baton smacked square on the crown of his head. His brother, on the other hand just kept on laughing.

Vidav gave a furious look from his normally calm demeanor. "That's for thinking you could get away interrupting his training!" he growled, then...

WHACK!!

The second smack landed square to the side of Chigatsumi's head, who cringed at the blow. "And that is for thinking you wouldn't get smacked!" Vidav roared.

He glared at them both, his eyes so focus and cold that seemed to pierce through both tiger brothers. "Pull that crap in the middle of my teaching, and I will personally tan both your hides! Understood?!" he roared.

"Y-yes Lord Vidav!" the two said with stuttered voices, the two of them shivering before the elder white tiger.

As Asura returned to his meditative state and worked to absorb nature energy, he smirked to know that Vidav looked after him-- and the two Rakshasa Brothers got their just desserts.
