The swordsman glared at the set of clones before him. After his little bump with the first, he understood how these versions of Shadow Clones work. ' Huh, so he decided to use clones with a mix of fire style to make them explode when defeated'. he thought as he moved-- grabbing his sword in the attempt. 'However, I am not without options...'.

The moment he gripped his sword, water moisture seemed to gather from the air and rest upon his sword. He delivered a circle slash The slash struck all the clones, deflecting their physical blows-- but as it cut into them, instead of an explosion, the blast was diffused and only let out large puffs of smoke as if fire had been put out.

The clones were gone, but no sign of Asura. "Are you done with your cheap tricks! Come out or I will find you myself!" he shouted and turned to the jungle canopy. Though a guess, he could tell Asura was in the cover of the trees. "Come out, coward!" he roared and slashed his sword again-- this time sending a crescent wave of water out towards the trees to where he felt Asura was.

The crescent wave of water shot into the tree tops. Though not strong enough to level the area of canopy-- it was cutting through a good portion of the thin part where Asura was hidden. From his hiding place, he saw the swordsman use his blade and the water blade was coming right at him. "Crap!" Asura grumbled.

Right as the blade came down, his movement was as swift as an animal's. The only thing left was an after image, which faded away as the blade struck him.

As the collateral damage fell to the ground, the swordsman watched and waited, wondering if he hit his mark or not. But Asura had already begun his next move. He landed to the ground of the jungle floor and began to weave hand signs. "Doton: Dochubaku!" From behind the cover of the trees and even in the earth before him, stone and dust was kicked up and sent flying right towards the swordsman like debris from cannon fire. The assault was sent his way, to try and deal real damage this time.

The blast of rubble was alarming from the jungle, but the mercenary was quick to act. With his sword, he suddenly swished it in such a way, he met with every heavy bit of the stones with his sword that swatted them away-- but with more speed and energy. The rest sprayed to the other parts of the field, and threatened to hit the workers as they ran away.

With enough attacks given, the swordsman saw Asura-- the true Asura-- through the gaps of the trees. His eyes locked onto him, and Asura saw him in return. "Got you!" he shouted.

With no reason to hide further, Asura jumped out from his cover  to look his opponent head on. "About time you came out of hiding. Face your death like a man!" He roared and charged once more.

As his enemy came charging in, Asura wove hand signs once more and drove his hands to the ground. "Doton-- Mud Wall Jutsu!" he shouted. The ground rumbled and another mass of earth erupted-- this time into a long, wide wall that blocked the swordsman's advance. Though a simple sword strike, Asura kept his distance, in need to analyze the subject. Even with his enemy's line of sight cut off, Asura could still track him via his Tengan's eye.

With the wall up, it made it impossible for his sword to get through. His sword stabbed the wall and didn't go through. Only a few inches dug into the mud wall, keeping the blade lodged.

A growl escaped the swordsman as his sword was not stuck in the mud wall. "You haven't won yet!" He gripped his sword tightly and channeled chakra into it. A sudden buzz came from the sword as lightning surged around the blade. The added element of lightning made the sword even sharper as he now was able to slice through earth with ease.

On the other side, Asura had erected the wall-- but was shocked as the electricified blade shot through the stone-- missing Asura's face by a small margin and made him jump with alarm. "WhoH!" The moment he jumped back, the sword sliced through the mud wall into a fast swipe of movement, cutting it into pieces. It crumbled and gave the swordsman a clear path after Asura.

The earth and fire styles were useless against him and Asura was now officially on the defensive. Before it was to test his enemy's power, now it was down to the wire. Now with a lightning blade, he sliced through Asura's earth wall and charged to strike him. The sword blade came close, his eyes wide and his hair on end from the electricity in the air till...

... the sword stabbed forward, and hit nothing but air.

Once again, Asura left nothing more than an afterimage of himself as he pushed his muscles to his maximum use and evaded the attack. His movement was only by a few feet, but it was enough to avoid the fatal strike.

Asura skid across the ground as he did so and held on to his Chakra Sword tight. "Alright... time to get serious... " Asura grumbled and jumped up. He landed on the side of a nearby tree, crouched horizontal on the trunk but used his chakra to stay there. His Tengan eyes kept close watch of his enemy. 'His primary skill is in Kenjutsu and probably uses it more dominantly at all the others. Ninjutsu will probably do very little at this point. However... Taijutsu may be the move to end it.' he thought.

He then kicked off the tree, and right for him. With his glowing chakra blade-- he got ready for his final move and poured all his energy into it.

His eyes widened and his body in mid air began to enter a wicked spin. He spun so fast, his movement was a blur, the air whooshed, and the chakra of his blade actually seemed to fan out, till it looked like a large twister.

"Blade Dance-- RAGING TIGER DRILL!!" The incoming attack was a massive spinning drill of destruction, now three times as tall as Asura was. If struck, the swordsman wouldn't not be able to defend, but further weaken him as well!
