Exhausted Reflection (Training)

Asura felt exhausted, fading in and out of consciousness. Even to roll in his sleep was painful after the week long fighting marathon that Ravana put him up to. It was ridiculous, but now he finally could rest. His muscles felt like rock and he couldn't move it. Soon, he heard a soft purring sound and pushing against his limbs.

He also felt a cold wet rag on his head, cooling him down.

He stirred in his dreams, and finally after a while, opened his eyes. He opened his eyes to soon discover he was back in his room in the Palace Ruins.

He looked up to the ceiling, recognizing his room, till he saw something come into his view-- the face of a white tiger kitten move in front of him and lick his face.

"Bwah-- Pfft! Pfft!" Asura spat, the cat's wet tongue licking his face. "What the..."

The cat stopped and soon Asura saw who it was-- Xufu, the little white tiger cub and son of Boss Byakko. The little tiger cub was affectionate to Asura and seemed to have come into his room to check on him.

Still, Asura was unsure what happened as he looked around. "Xufu... when..?"

"Easy, there..." A voice beside him said to soothe his confusion.

For a moment, Asura looked at Xufu, wondering if the cat talked. "Huh, Xufu... Did you just talk?" Asura almost gasped.

"Hahaha... Ravana must of hit you harder in the head than I thought," the voice answered, and soon Asura recognized the voice.

Slowly, Asura turned his head to his left and found Vidav sitting across his bed. He sat at the end, a cold washcloth and bowls of water near the bedside table. "Vidav...." Asura groaned. He tried to sit up, but felt his body grow dull again.

"Easy, easy," Vidav said and held the shinobi's head down. "Take it easy. You been out for 2 days. Ravana might have truly effective teaching methods, but sometimes i question his sanity."

Asura closed his eyes for a moment, and groaned. "is that why Boss Byakko dislikes him so much?" he asked.

"Among other reasons," Vidav said as he took the damp cloth and ran it over Asura's head. "I will admit, it had a profound effect. You nearly grabbed my arm in your sleep. "

"My head hurts..." Asura groaned, but vidav patted his head again with the cloth. Concerned, Xufu crawled over to Asura and sat down by his head. He nuzzled his head in a cat-like bump.

"Here, drink this, " Vidav said as he raised a bowl of water. Asura slowly sipped it down and felt more at ease. "You should be okay now... but take it easy if you can today."

Vidav's gaze soon went over to Asura's heart. He soon remembered the marking he saw there. "Asura... I got something I want to tell you."

"Yeah?" Asura asked,

However, Vidav paused as if to rethink it. "Naw. We can talk about it later. Fior now, just rest up." The tiger said and soon stood up and walked away. Giving Asura some rest, Xufu also hopped away from Asura and followed the elder out of his room.

So Asura slowly sat up from his bed and went over the long training he endured. Perhaps it was exhausting, but he awakened feeling sharper than ever.
