| https://narutojidai.rpg-board.net/t2612-blind-spot-equals-zero-otReo slowly made his way out of the Kiri village. He had to thank the old woman for what she had done for him. She had taught him a valuable lesson that he didn’t think he would have learned otherwise. The way the water moved… it was magical and had some great combat properties. He felt prepared to use it, though he didn’t think he was ready to use Suiton in the slightest. He would need to practice the chakra manipulation just like he did with Fuuton while he was an Academy Student and Genin. Before Reo noticed what was happening, he was in the middle of a road, surrounded by forests. Snow was on the ground here, as was blood. A shuriken flew from the trees nearby. Thinking fast, Reo dodged out of the way. A single bandit walked forward. “Quick thinking, bastard.” The older man growled as he drew a sword from his back. “Taijuu Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!” Reo roared as ten clones appeared from smoke. The bandit ran forward and sliced, destroying one of Reo’s clones. [Post 1:176 Words, clone taking damage for Reo] | |

| Nine clones left, but Reo didn’t use much chakra in his clones. If he had to guess, he maybe lost 5% of his chakra maximum (10% Chakra Gauge). Still, where had this man come from? Reo jumped forward, his real body and kicked the man in the stomach. The force of Reo’s kick threw the man backwards and into the ground. He huffed and gasped as if some of his metal armor had broken and injured the man.
You shouldn’t wear such things when facing a ninja. His sword lay on the ground and one of Reo’s clones kicked it away as Reo approached.
A shuriken pierced one of his clones’ necks.

| The puff of smoke was Reo’s first signal that he only had eight clones remaining. Next came the memories of a shuriken piercing through his neck. The memory of that recent pain was almost overwhelming but Reo took it in stride as he looked around. The shuriken had come from in front of…him.
There wasn’t just one more bandit. There weren’t just ten more bandits. An entire gaggle of them. No, an entire army of them marched out of the forest, shuriken in hand.
“Wha-what is this?” Reo asked as he quickly put his hands together. “Taijuu Kage Bunshin No Jutsu.”. Ten more clones, ten more percentage of his chakra gone. If his gauge started at two hundred, he’d have one hundred and eighty left.
Another shuriken pierced a clone.
Seventeen clones left.

| “What’s this?” The bandit whose chest was smashed in asked in a taunting manner as he struggled to rise to his feet. “Why, this is nothing more than your demise – Reo Gojisou”
The bandit said his name so casually, but It struck a chord within the young monk. A chord that caused him to freeze as he contemplated the meaning behind it. How would he know his name? Why would they send so many after him? Did bandits usually travel in this large of a number? That didn’t seem right, but Reo couldn’t quite say why.
One of the bandits rammed a sword through Reo’s clone’s guts.
Poof.
“What’re we waiting for! Get him!”

| The rush began. Reo quickly counted up his clones. Sixteen. He had sixteen clones to fight this mob of…however many bandits. Not enough. Not nearly enough.
“Tajuu Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!” Reo yelled as ten more clones appeared. Twenty-six, now. Better. Much better odds. Reo was distracted for a moment as he made the clones, so he turned his attention to the battlefield. The sixteen original clones and even the ten new ones were engaging the mob, moving in and out in quick well-coordinated patterns. Apparently being the same person lent themselves to fighting the enemy. One of the clones was all alone, facing off against three bandits. Reo began to run towards it, but it was too late.
The clone fell with a mace to the face.

| Twenty-five more clones to go. That wasn’t a bad number, especially since he could see the clones felling some of the enemy. They were just such an overwhelming horde. Reo himself dodged blow after blow – unable to get an attack in edgewise against the opponent’s he faced. There were three of them, none particularly powerful, though their numbers more than made up for it. “Hahaha. Which one is the real one do you think?” One of the oblivious bandits said with a cackle as Reo dodged his sword. He didn’t seem to mind being unable to hit the agile monk. Well, not agile, but still. More agile than these buffoons. Reo turned his head just in time to see another clone fall. An arrow this time. That meant there was support somewhere. [post 6: 134 Words. | Reo turned his head just in time to see the sword swinging towards him. He tried to dodge but was too slow. The blade too strong, too fast. It hit his skin and…shattered. The bandit had swung it hard enough to break the sword but it couldn’t break through his skin. The entire battlefield seemed to stop. “Shadow clones aren’t as strong as the real one.” The surprised bandit mumbled as he stared at his sword. “Ignore those, get this one!” Reo ducked as the bandits began to swarm. He punched and kicked, sending bandits flying but there were too many. A blade came for his face….a clone jumped in the way. Poof. [Post 7: 115 Words. Clone taking damage] | |

| The clone vanished. Reo punched directly where it had been a moment before and felled the bandit, knocking him through his allies as if they weren’t even there. “Who are you people and why are you after me?” Reo asked as he sideswiped another person. These bandits wouldn’t let up and there were so many. “This isn’t a simple highway robbery” “No, it’s not” Said a larger bandit who casually smashed one of Reo’s clones face in. He stepped forward, a ring forming around the real Reo and this extremely large bandit. He smiled at Reo, but it wasn’t a friendly smile. [Post 8: 102 Words. Clone taking damage] | |

| Reo walked towards this man, unafraid of him due to his recent encounters. The bald monk’s forehead protector clearly marked him as a shinobi of Sunagakure – though Reo wasn’t entirely sure how accurate that was as he hadn’t been home since the Chuunin Exams. He hoped they didn’t think he was a Missing-nin. He didn’t feel like one. He was just on a sabbatical. A sabbatical being a fancy word to describe a vacation in which he gets to explore his own professional interests, in this case. The large man smashed another Reo clone who leapt forward. The clones didn’t seem to understand the gravity of the situation. With that, Reo was done to…22? [Post 9: 114 Words: Clone taking damage] | |

| “If it’s not a highway robbery then what is it?” Reo asked as he finally came face to face with the large man. He stood head and shoulders over Reo and his body was built like a well toned body builder’s. All in all, he was a much more intimidating sight than Reo was. “You have something that our boss wants, little one.” The man said with a hearty laugh. Reo’s face contorted into a confused look – eyebrows frowned and downturned mouth. That is, until he figured out what the man meant. The Ryu Caller. What else could he have that someone wanted. “Kill them all!” The man shouted as he threw a hatchet at Reo. It collided with him, only for a log to appear. Post 10: 126 Words.
