Born in the River Country, Zeo had little issues with life. He grew up a regular boy among the quarrel of the other nations. His mother and father were simple folk to his eyes, kind and compassionate. They lived in a small village that dealt with trade and fishing due to the rivers that surrounded them. His father had a steep love of art and while working as a farmer, he would often play with his son, teaching him art via blowing bubbles. His mother was also a compassionate woman, caring and raised him well.
Life was good for the humble family, as Zeo grew up-- but it was not meant to last. A campaign soon came to the village of shinobi-- seeking members of a clan. Too young to understand, Zeo could only watch as the shinobi soon entered a war path. The village exploded into violence, the village fighting against it.
While his parents hid him in their home, the enemy shinobi soon burst into their homes. Only able to see little parts due to his hiding place, Zeo was forced to watch as the men argued with his father-- and in due time things got violent and he was slain trying to protect them. His mother too were killed and mortified Zeo.
Unable to bare it, Zeo quickly ran, fleeing the carnage that his village now was in. But he was persued by the enemy. He had reached the edge of the village overlooking the waterfalls-- but a blast threw him over the side-- where he fell to the river below.
Miraculously, he survived, unconscious and adrift on his back through the water. Little did he know he was carried upon a river sacred to the clan he never learned of. The Kamigawa River -- sacred for its spiritual connection to the spirit world. The river sustained him and carried him to safety.
He was soon found by a team of leaf shinobi, who soon took him in and helped him. With no other place to go, Zeo was welcomed asylum within the leaf community.
Zeo is a quiet, but caring young man. Though still young, he has a compassion for others. However, he keeps somewhat of a passive attitude, not easily showing emotion due to the trauma he had over his parents' death. As he warms up to his friends, Kyle and Mari, he soon came to warm up and show a bit more emotion. He could be viewed as indifferent, or even apathetic, but he keeps his feelings buried due to the fear to lose others he cares for again.
He has a love for animals, including those others would seem unlucky. He is often an intellectual type, thoughtful and calculating to the challenges he has. He could often be seen reading or blowing bubbles, his form of 'art' he called it as a fleeting beauty in the wind. He also is never without his headphones-- to listen to his favorite kind of music.
One of his goals is to learn the truth of things. While he still has the wounds of his parents' death, he desires to know why the attack on his hometown happened. Also the source of his clan's powers. As a member of the clan with no other family to learn from, he wishes to discover the truth of his clan's past and understand the legacy they left behind that became his Kekkei Genkai.
