The Helmet of Ramuh

Shan walked along the village of Kiri. His allies were beginning to grow stronger – though none of them were near a match for himself yet. Still, it would be good to have them around once they attained more power. Power. They would be helpful, but nowhere near as helpful as the Helmet of Ramuh. The sacred artifact of his clan that he had been looking for since before the Chuunin Exams. He had allowed himself to get distracted. He would be distracted no more!

Shan made a few hand signs and created clones until he had one hundred of them. They were in the streets of Kiri – but that was okay.

Shan glared at a random citizen as they passed by. The look on their face told him all he needed to know. They disapproved of his use of the clones there. Sure, it was a forbidden technique but what did that matter one such as Shan? It didn’t. They were just scared that Konoha would get mad at the usage. Tch. Konoha didn’t react when Shan or that scorch girl who defeated him openly used the jutsu during the chuunin exams. Konoha – like all villages – was filled with cowards.

That’s why they must be destroyed. Of course, they must find the Helmet of Ramuh to make this dream a reality.

Shan and his one hundred clones began to march through the streets. Then, Shan waved his hand. It was a signal to all of his clones to fan out. They had thus far been unable to find the information that they were needing. Primarily, they were still needing to find out any information about its location. It could be anywhere in Kiri – since that is the last his clan had heard of the artifact. Now that its original resting location had been raided? Well, now it could be anywhere imaginable.

Shan walked up to a shop – noting that all of his clones were completely out of sight at this point.

Shan closed his eyes and could swear that he could feel the existence of his clones. He couldn’t and he knew it but he felt a connection to them and knew what they were doing nonetheless. He imagined this is what it would be like to have a twin.

The shopkeeper in front of Shan looked at him oddly. His eyebrow lifted in an uneven manner and his left eye bulged slightly.

“What you want” The man said in a coarse manner. He was far from eloquent, and he evidently didn’t fear Shan.

He probably should fear Shan. Shan merely smiled.
