| - Afernoon back yard of Asakura Household -
< So after sealing the spirit that was taken over the young girls bear, Grave had earned the money to go visit the hospital to double check on his health and get some rest. From what has been seen he's been working hard on trying to find himself a path to walk in life. But nothing seems more important than fighting one's inner self. Upon rushing back to his grandfather's house he swung open the door demanding that the elderly man train him in the ways he wishes. But Grave seems to have forgotten the most important thing, respect is earned not forced upon. As he stood with his finger pointing at his grandfathe he quietly waited the answer from the old man.
Swinging his cane and hitting Grave upside the head with a rush of speed, the old man stepped down from his chair and looked at grave simply looking and glancing over at him before shaking his head. "You wish for me to train you...fine but you must be able to do so with the help of your own powers to begin with. As you already know...My techniques can help you somewhat but not completely. Training comes with using the force you need to battle against strong enemies or rivals for that matter." Grave sat up slowly rubbing the right side of his head feeling as though blood was rushing down his face.
Thinking back to the early days of training Grave had came across a powerful technique that basically turned his own energy against him. In order to help improve his speed. But it was unsure if he was able to even use that technique once again. Even so his grandfather's techniques were still a mystery until one battles the old man into a corner. Then things would begin to turn over and look as though trouble was only a step away. Asakaura's are not ones to back down lightly and always find the inner strength to pull through. "Grave...do you know the scared weapons that the Asakura Clan uses for battles?" yelling out his name got the attention of the young boy.
"No...I do not..." Grave looked down confused and feeling depressed before his grandfather. The old man sighed and nodded saying, "We are able to use the power of our staves and swords. But most important our strength. You lack all three...so now come with me so we can at least get you ready for the battles to come. Also...please be sure not to damage anything understood." Grave nodded to his grandfather as they both stood and walked to the field within the backyard. The flowers were already in bloom and seem to release a wonderful smell to them. It allowed the mind to ease with peace and help the mind focus more on nature.
Grave stood beside his grandfather looking around and amazed by the glorious view of it all. Smiling he could smell the pollen as it was in the air. Soon the mind seemed at ease as Grave felt no tension and relaxed even more so. However Grave's grandfather did not do so. As he clapped his hands and slapped the palm of them on the ground to call forth a stone wall. "Now Grave...to see where your power lies...i want you to focus and punch through this stone all showing me all you can give understood?" Grave listen to the words that echo off the stone wall from behind and smiled as he got into a ready position. Calmly focusing his energy he was able to dart with one step forward and his right fist hitting the stone wall cracking it.
As the pieces fell to the ground Grave's grandfather nodded his head and did a repeat but summoned a thicker wall in front of the boy. Yelling as though a training instructor, "AGAIN!" Grave quickly got into his stance and pushed forward with his fist smashing it against the wall. But this time the affect was slightly different. As the wall cracked it didn't fall to pieces and left a small crater like dent the size of Grave's fist in it. Pulling back from the attack, Grave saw the pieces of stone fall from his fist. Feeling some pain behind the punch Grave shook his head and repeated his technique but this time with him using his left fist. As the stone wall finally shattered into pieces Grave stared as his Grandfather had nodded against and slapped his hands on the ground.
Creating another stone wall about the same height but, thicker by 2 inches of the first two. Staring at this wall grave believed it was going to take more strength in order to break them down. Cracking his knuckles Grave smiled and dashed forward smashing the wall with his left then his right and another left fist attack. This pattern continued for hours only until the 5th wall stood before him. Grave seemed to have used up a lot of his energy as he was breathing heavily and looked at the wall with a sudden glare in his eyes.
- That Night -
The old man was sitting at the top only seeing that Grave had only left 3 dents inside this wall of stone. Then glancing over at his grandson, the old man smiled and replied, "You cannot break this stone wall, as you may not have the power to do so just yet. Besides if you want..." Suddenly a loud up roar burst came from Grave's mouth. "SHUT UP!!" His grandfather looked at the young male before wanting to jumped down but noticed the stare within his eyes. 'This glare...he's seriously trying to overpower his inner self.' Grave was finally almost beaten as his cloths were wet from sweat and his fist bleeding from the damage that was done to the wall. Even more the boys arms were covered with the blood splats from his fists the white shirt that was worn under him was now dirty with blood, dust and sweat.
Grave pulled his fists back together as though he was locking them in place as he focused on the center point his eyes widen with burst of energy. Smashing them at the same time Grave's hands felt as though they had broken but the wall started cracking across from the center and began falling to pieces. Having the old man loose his seat and jump down behind Grave. "Nicely done...sadly...you over used your body's limit and seem to be stuck in that position now...oh well...i'll call your grandmother and father to come and get you boy." Standing still with his arms stretched out Grave's eyes had dazed out showing as though he was no longer in conscious. Deep in his mind though Grave was resting and felt happy about the small improvement he had done.
Laying in bed that night, Grave awoken hours early on seeing a note next to his bed. "What's...this...grandpa...wrote me a note...funny..." Reaching over to read it Grave's hands were wrapped like a mummy as he was shaking to reach for it. Upon reaching the note he slowly took his time to open and read it as it read, 'You did great tonight, but you will need to go to the hospital later on today. Your grandmother said she will take you there to be looked at and stay the night. Try not to over work yourself again, and understand...power comes from your inner self. I'll see you on your return from the hospital boy.' Old man had a nice side to him even though Grave didn't seem to want to see it. Smiling about it al Grave closed his eyes and began to rest for the remaining night only to wait for his grandmother to come and get him in the morning.
