He didn’t really want to be in the room. In fact he hated the institution. There was always some type of competition going on between the students. Who can perform a jutsu the best or, who had the best hand to hand combat? Granted he could have participated in some of these competitions but he’d rather not have.
Yukimura wasn’t much of a people person not before and certainly not now. He had only joined the Ninja academy because of what they promised him; Answers.
Three days after Old Lady Wan died, two men in black suits with animal mask over their face showed up at the doorstep.
“Close the door and we won’t tell you what you’ve been looking for,” The one with the white and blue monkey mask said, “We know you want answers to where you came from.” Yukimura had only been an inch away from closing the door. His hand was still tight on the handle and he was ready to close the door. But they had him figured out, before he could even get out a word.
“What do you know?” Yukimura asked hiding behind the door now. Something about their presence was throwing him off. It was a unique circumstance that he had not been prepared for.
“That Konohagakure is not the one you should bare hatred to.” The other one spoke this time. He had a red and white mask in the shape of a tiger. Yukimura opened the door wider. He was now in the open. His skin was a red-brown color. In all honesty, Yukimura looked like one of those forest ninja, the ones that were always hunting.
“Then who should my anger go towards. Anbu killed them. Why should I trust you?” Anger resonated loudly in Yukimura’s voice. The Monkey man placed his hands up and shrugged.
“I give you no reason to trust us. But I promise this. Become a part of our village system completely and all answers you wish to know will become clear… with time that is.”
Up until that point Yukimura was technically apart of no village system. Though he was close to the leave village and resided in the fire country he was technically on the far side of the country. Yukimura knew the world all too well. They wanted something from him. But he couldn’t risk it. He had to go. Old Lady Wan and Old Man Wan were connected to his past but they never told him how and now here were two strangers offering him not only Haven in Konoha but answers.
“I’ll go.”
“Yukimura the answer to the question on the board please?” Yukimura looked away from the window. He had been lost in thought and forgot where he was. He analyzed the board and shrugged.
“I don’t know.” He lied. He knew the answer. Chakra was the source of energy for everything around him. But he would rather not answer. It gained him nothing. He was only here just to fulfill his part of the deal.
