Raijin sat up in his bed looking out the window panting and sweating before he heard his door being opened, as the door swung open he looked over to see Aoi, her hair being pulled the force of the door swinging wide open from the pull of the door. She ran in and looked at Raijin and sighed, “must you have nightmares more often now all of a sudden?” she asked looking at Raijin.

Shrugging his shoulders Raijin shook his head, “sorry I was having a nightmare about fighting my father, as much of a useless being he is, I still owe him my life as he is partial the reason of my existence.” Raijin said, his hand balling up into a fist, he kept clenching his fist tighter and tighter that the grip was turning his skin white from the pressure.

Aoi walked over and sat down on the bed beside Raijin and hugged his head over her shoulder, “young master, you must learn to let grudges go, they can shorten your life span.” she said, Raijin looked over her shoulder in the darkness and sighed heavily, “yes, this is true... but the part that scared me about it all was the fact that I thought I saw my father murder my mother after she gave birth to me, that it wasn't my fault she died...” he said as he released his grip and sighed as he sat there side by side Aoi for a few moments in silence, “you know you can always face him off according to your laws of being a samurai... and demand he tell you after you win...” Aoi said giving Raijin thoughts.

Raijin leaned back against the wall and looked over at Aoi and sighed as he smiled, “true but that would also mean I'd have to abide by the shinobi laws due to me being stuck to both sides of their stupid laws.” Raijin said as he sighed again, there was no winning for him, he had to go about everything carefully lest he be branded a traitor on one side or the other or worse, both.

Aoi patted him on the head and smiled, her red and black eyes glowing in the dark so clear that it was like looking into a cats eyes as they glowed from the reflection of light in them.

Raijin suddenly sat up and thought about something that made sense to him, “I think I got it... I challenge him to a dojo duel, he gives me one of his secrets if he loses and he closes his home and dojo down, but if he wins I must do the same... which means I'd owe Grave back...” Raijin said as he thought about it.

Aoi looked at Raijin and smiled, “I'm sure you've gotten stronger in your adventures before you met me and gained new allies that you can beat your father in a duel.” she said before she leaned in and kissed Raijin's forehead, he sat there before he sighed thinking about young Oga and his mother, his father banned him from seeing young Oga to train him, and his friend had ended up marrying his father which would make them all homeless if he did win and Raijin wouldn't have that, but that would mean he would have to shelter his father as well then due to the fact he couldn't come between a married couple due to his involvement on more than one part.

Raijin stood there wondering what would happen before he felt the wet kiss against his forehead and it set everything at ease before he realized what Aoi did, “I told you not to cut my thoughts off like that.” Raijin said looking back into Aoi's eyes as she smiled and walked away, “stop thinking so damn much and just act sometimes, and maybe I wouldn't have to.” Aoi replied as she rounded the door frame.

Sitting there he looked at the window to see the sun poking through the clouds that surrounded Mt. Raijin, “seems like your happy about something today Lord Raijin...” he said to himself softly before he got up and started to get dressed. After a while of getting dressed and getting all of his gear together Raijin walked out into the kitchen and looked over to see Aoi cooking him break fast and he smiled, she had been with him for a little while but she was a fast learner and she wasn't effected by his world like the rest he summoned, or at least tried to summon, so far he was stuck at summoning a couple ranks under Aoi's power level which made him feel like a punk at times.

Walking into the kitchen Raijin looked out the window barely paying attention to his food, taking a bite out of it at a few times before Aoi walked over and tapped him on the head with the spatula, “if you just gunna let your food get cold why did you even ask for anything!” Aoi said getting a little angry with Raijin.

Smiling after rubbing the top of his head Raijin looked at Aoi and chuckled a little, “thanks, when you clear my mind it goes so blank at times it's like my memory lapses itself and I forget everything and anything around me.” he said as he started to eat the rest of his break fast that Aoi had prepared for him, she smiled now and turned around to go back to what she was doing before she heard Raijin drop the empty plate on the counter with his utensils crossed in an X on the plate before he was suddenly gone in a cloud of smoke. Aoi just sighed as she cleaned the dishes.

Raijin stood outside looking out at the surrounding area and smirked as he looked up smelling the fresh rain smell just before it started to fall before he looked down after noticing the change of aura in the environment, he looked over to see his father Mitsurugi standing fifteen feet away from him, “what have I told you about trying to find me.” Raijin said looking at his father with a dire look on his face.

Mitsurugi looked at his son and sighed, “why do you hate me so much? I have tried appolagizing to you for my actions and what I became, but I've become a changed man and I want to prove it to you, why wont you let me show you that I have become a new man!” Mitsurugi said as he looked at his son, his eyes did say he was sorry, his body language did show sorrow in it, but somehow Raijin didn't want to believe it, there was something about this man that curdled his blood.

Raijin looked at Mitsurugi and shook his head as he felt the rain starting to fall, “your actions have showed the man you are, you cannot deny or try to hide them by changing because I've seen the beast inside you.” Raijin said pointing his sword at his father now, his body moved on its own that it scared himself a bit but he knew that this would mean something to himself, he taught himself everything he knew about the sword, but it wasn't much to be proud of, it was something that he needed to master with precision and precise skill that he was second to no other samurai left alive.

Raijin remained there standing still in the rain staring at his father, “I want to fight you, all or nothing, you win I forgive you and I come back home no questions asked....” he said pausing to think about it before he shook all thoughts back from his mind, “I win you tell me why you hated me so much and how my mother really died!” Raijin shouted this time, his brows furrowed so much that he could see his brows in his sight.

Mitsurugi looked at Raijin and sighed, “you know I'll win, but if you insist on fighting me then I'll accept your challenge.” he said looking at his son with a sorrowful look on his face.

Raijin moved the blade to a different stance that he knew his father never saw before, he knew he would have to fight his father with moves to keep him guessing at all times to make sure he had a chance, at this point Raijin withdrew his other sword from behind his back and waited for a moments notice that his father would come at him, “I have no intent of catching a cold son.” Mitsurugi said, Raijin smirked and shrugged his shoulders, “neither do I.” Raijin replied quickly before he noticed his fathers movement, he was so fast that it left an after mirage but he was just as fast, he felt the back of the blade coming at his shins but he vanished from the attack to appear above Mitsurugi swinging both blades down in a giant X slash.
