Raijin moved the blade to a different stance that he knew his father never saw before, he knew he would have to fight his father with moves to keep him guessing at all times to make sure he had a chance, at this point Raijin withdrew his other sword from behind his back and waited for a moments notice that his father would come at him, “I have no intent of catching a cold son.” Mitsurugi said, Raijin smirked and shrugged his shoulders, “neither do I.” Raijin replied quickly before he noticed his fathers movement, he was so fast that it left an after mirage but he was just as fast, he felt the back of the blade coming at his shins but he vanished from the attack to appear above Mitsurugi swinging both blades down in a giant X slash.

Mitsurugi looked at his son and sighed before he realized that Raijin wasn't joking around he looked up and noticed a huge amount of lightning shooting down towards him, he thought at the last second and threw his sword away just barely dodging the attack as the lightning destroyed the katana completely.

Raijin looked at his father panting heavily for a few moments as he stood paralyzed, barely keeping himself standing up right, Raijin looked at his father before he grinned, “I have something you don't...” he said still grinning, his father looked at him and raised an eyebrow, “what's that boy?” Mitsurugi asked looking at him with a curious look on his face.

Raijin stood there looking at his father as he dropped to his knees before he regained his body movement, but played to be paralyzed still, “come and find out why.” Raijin said as his smile grew into a smirk as he heard the foot steps in the water nearing him before he looked back up to see a sword with some blood on it, he looked at his summon and sighed, “begone pest...” Raijin added as he looked at the young summon and sighed, “I told you to be careful from the start.” he said as he saw the summon vanish into a cloud of smoke.

Mitsurugi looked back to his son before he started to run at his son, “no matter I can beat you without my sword.” he said as he still dashed at Raijin, he regained his focus and movement and smirked before he vanished to reappear right beside his father rotating in the air to give his father a reversed round house which actually connected, it practically close lined his father who was a big man, but he grinned for success too soon, he felt his father's grasp around his ankle and was suddenly pulled down with him feeling the ground against his back.

The both coughed as Mitsurugi landed on his chest and Raijin on his back, Raijin rolled over and coughed again before pushing himself up, he felt brittle and frail now, but he knew he was strong, he had to get back up he had to prove something to himself here at this point, “I... will... beat.... you... old man!” Raijin said in between as he panted quite a bit, Mitsurugi looked over as he laid on the ground from his chest and just rolled over, “you're self training is actually making you strong, but don't forget that we can only train by ourselves to make ourselves a limited amount stronger, otherwise we forget the basics of certain ideals.” Mitsurugi said knowing Raijin wasn't listening at all.

Looking over at his father Raijin laughed before he finally regained his strength from the damage he took to his back, he looked at his father and sighed, “next time we'll fight for real you cheater.” Raijin said as he knew his father was holding back, “I'll see you in the future.” he added as he turned and vanished into a cloud of smoke.

Mitsurugi sat there and laid on his back for a little while longer and smiled, “Raijin, I hope you understand that you are actually the son of a god and not us humans...” Mitsurugi said as he closed his eyes thinking about that day.
