Goru was soon replaced with Tashiro. A quiet fellow, at least in the eyes of Yukimura. He was of the Jiin clan, one of the more prestigious families in Iwagakure. They had some special power but Yukimura couldn’t quite put his finger on it. Of his team, Yukimura was the only Chunin. Tashiro and the girl, Yue as she liked to be called, were both fresh Genin from the academy. Yue was believed to be an exceptional medic and Tashiro, well his clan claimed him to be a Genius.
The trio sat on the rocky enclave as they waited for their Jounin to show up. Yukimura stared at the Jiin boy who secluded from the group.
“Heise Where are you from?” The girl asked. Yukimura diverted his attention from the boy and turned it on to the brown-skinned girl.
“I was born in the forest. My family abandoned my and I was raised by monkey’s” Yukimura said in textbook form. The girl wanted to laugh but Yukimura’s face showed complete seriousness. He smiled and returned the question to her.
“Have you grown up in Iwa your whole life?” He asked. Yue shook her head confidently.
“No, My family is from the north. City folk.” She replied. Yukimura turned to the Jiin and hoped to get conversation from him as well.
“Tashiro, was it? Your from Iwa correct?” Yukimura asked. The boy said nothing only he turned his body away from them even more.
In front of them the big one appeared, Kitsuche. He was wearing his traditional Iwagakure garb but this time he had a giant Zanbatou on his back. The man wasn’t fast, Yukimura could tell that easily. But what Yukimura couldn’t tell was just how strong this man was. He had seen bigger people who he had taken down much too quickly before. But something about this Jounin was different menacing almost.
“I Am your Jounin Kitsuche,” He announced himself to the team. “As you already know, this is Squad three. Or supposed to be at least” He said with a laugh. Yukimura noticed that Tashiro was more alert.
“What do you mean?” Tashiro asked as he returned to the group.
Kitsuche laughed and placed his hands together and smiled.
“Among the thirteen students that graduated only eight will make the cut as Genin. The rest will be sent back to the academy and must try again later” He said. Yukimura realized it must have been eight due to the fact that he would now be included amongst their ranks. That must mean there would only be three teams amongst them.
The Jounin reached into his pouch and pulled out two bells and waved around two bells and looked at the team. Yukimura was now even more intrigued it looked like an elimination test.
“Is this an El-“
“Yes, It is Heise.” The Jounin said cutting him off. Yue was to inquisitive.
“That means-“ She began. The jounin let out a laugh and replied.
“Precisely, Only two of you will go on to joining the official Squad 3”
