Storm Country - Solo Quest: Hibon Quest

Inshitsu replaced his sheath back onto his holster. Inshitsu couldn’t help but worry about Kin’s strange behavior. Keeping his idea just in case, Inshitsu pointed back towards the way that Kin had came, “How did you know that I was even close to here?” Kin looked nervous again, but this time Inshitsu wasn’t feeling the same. “Can we talk about it another time?” Kin’s hand started to slowly sink towards her weapon. Bad time. Inshitsu pulled his hands up and performed his Wave of Inspiration, tasing the imposter of Kin. Inshitsu walked over to the spasming person on the floor of the cave, looking down with distaste.

“So, what have we learned today?” Inshitsu’s seemed to frighten the imposter even worse than before, their eyes were near the edge of exploding from fear. Inshitsu drew his fake Grass Cutter and over their throat to restrict any movement. “You’re all scum! No place should ever have to endure the stink that you have!” Even with the imposter pinned, Inshitsu still couldn’t make out a single detail of who he had with him. “Let’s get off on a better foot; I’ll go first, my name is Inshitsu. What’s yours?” The fake almost glared hard enough to set his hair on fire, but she did respond, “Go die!” Inshitsu sighed. “This is what happens when I am nice.” Inshitsu slashed his blade across the fake’s throat holding his foot across her mouth to muffle her.

He waited until the body was motionless and her screams became silent through his foot. Inshitsu wiped the faint blood trail off of his blade and resheathed it. Inshitsu looked back towards the cabinet that he had flipped. There was indeed a hole in the wall just as Inshitsu had expected there to be. There was something that did catch Inshitsu off guard as he got near; the hole had a bright light within. Now, this is peculiar. Inshitsu shrugged and still climbed through the hole. It was an escape from the dark underground network. The hole led to a hidden grove that was obscured by thick trees that hid Inshitsu from outside vision.

Inshitsu climbed fully out of the hole and looked around the silent haven of nature. There was no life in the trees and there wasn’t even anything that could move. The thick trees ignored the breezes that sinking in between its branches. The leaves themselves barely stirred in the air that was ruffling Inshitsu’s hair. Inshitsu was yet again shocked by the beauty of what he had found. Inshitsu saw something that was poking out of the ground over nearby a tree on the wall. Inshitsu walked over, noticing that as he got closer, it was a crate. Inshitsu looked behind him back at the hole and looked back at the crate that was in front of him.

Inshitsu silent cursed himself as he walked away from the formation of boulders, carrying the crate on top of his head. His arm was injured minorly due to the way that he had fit the crate inside of the hole. Inshitsu was pissed that he had managed to get it through as that meant navigating the skinny paths of the cave all over again with more size. Nevertheless, he was able to do it alas he was pissed. He couldn’t show his giddiness over going back to the village and unraveling the mystery behind what he had just found within the hidden grove.
