Shadow entered upon the settlement whilst there had been loud screaming cheers of a few drunked up men. Peering around the corner of a wooden hut that seemed to be this land’s form of a ‘bar’, he saw them pushing around a woman who seemed to have been just walking by too late at night. They were speaking in a dialect unknown to Shadow… and it seemed that the translator in his mask couldn’t even pick it up. With the woman, being prepared to be sexually abused by this gang of Native thugs, being pushed back and forth as she tried to escape… Shadow made a portal in between the path she was being pushed and she entered, to be pushed out of another right in front of Shadow. She bumped into him, and he grasped her for support with his left arm. She looked up at him, still in fear, as all five men looked at him with confusion.
“Hey!” someone yelled. Shadow looked behind the bar. “You from the mainlands?”
“I am…”
“It’s best not to mess with these wannabe thugs… they are a few of the high ranking enforcers in the crimes that go on here in all these settlements…”
“Hmph… well then I will start the purge with them…” he said, as he moved towards the men. He began to tap into his inner power. “Ok Five Tails… you’re going to give me some of your power now…”
‘Fuc…’
‘Now, now… none of that…’ the inner ego stated as it absorbed the power of the beast. The aura began to engulf the ego, before slowly forming around the body of Shadow. Shadow smirked under his mask as he looked on at the five opponents…
