Chapter 2: Forming A Resolve
Background:
A month and a half had passed since the disappearance of Senju Heise, Shizou, and Hyuuga Mei-Lee. Both Gesshoku and Kumogakure had reported that the team was missing from action. Among the Sun Monkey Clan, reports from the Jounin level monkeys had stated that Sun Wukong had also been missing for quite sometime. It was widely speculated that Senju Heise’s summoning power was the only thing keeping him in the human world.
Among the minor villages, reports of Nobuyuki and another strange figure were attacking the villages. Yet where was the Monkey Sage and his team?
Present:
The sun roughly peaked her head over the island which housed Land of Water, one of the five great nations. Overlooking a great marsh. Helios’ great eyes rested upon a group of for crossing the bank. The one ahead of the pack had a straw hat over his head and traditional garb. The two behind were outfitted more for the terrain. The giant beast towering over them wore a traditional garb similar to the one of the man’s in front. Amongst all the members one thing was common, silence.
The man behind the leader was Shizou. Or now more easily referred to as Uchiha Shizou. He bared the demons of knowing of his future and not knowing how to deal with it. Soon he’d give his life to complete another but yet still, He wasn’t familiar with who or what he was giving it for but he knew that’s what the oracle had said.
The sole female companion of the group was at a crossroads with her own heart. While so obviously in love with the one in front of her, she questioned her loyalty to her family and how her actions would reflect once news returned back to the clan.
Behind them, the beast the calmest of the hearts who only had one sole purpose: to serve their leader. Whether that would be to assist him in the training that needed to be done, or whether it was to give his life, he vowed he’d protect him.
And of course, the leader among the group was the most troubled. After aiding in a war over territory and losing, after mastering the powers that were once thought lost to the world, and after sealing a legendary demon within his own body, The leader’s heart was still troubled with his missing memories. One would think with the new life created he would to so easily forget who he was before, but with the arrival of Nobuyuki to the scene of the world, it made it rather difficult to forget.
Though one thing was certain, no two things. The first was the silence that gripped them by the throats for weeks saying little more than necessary. The second, was the bond shared by all four members of the squad and their loyalty for each other. It seems loyalty was what held this group together amidst the silence.
The Burial Grounds was exactly as it had sounded, a burial ground. A tomb for most war condemned ninja. The burial ground was also guarded by a man of rather gloomy tales simply known as, The Executioner. He’d never seen the executioner himself personally but, he’d heard tales of a tall man wielding a halberd with a cut across his chest.
While most believed the Burial grounds was under control of Kirigakure, It was actually free for any ninja to be buried. Shizou, of the squad, had done enough investigation for him to find out that, one of the Senju was still possible alive there, Though this person was considered to be hundreds of years old. Either way it was here at these ground, Senju Heise would find the answers.
