The Fires of Rage (Tokubetsu Jounin exam thread) (Private-- invite Haya) (No PVP) (Reward Dice included)

Shadow looked up as the boy did decent with his hand to hand combat. Shadow looked at the remaining two, one in which the boy had already been running at with an obvious intent to kill. As he turned back to look at the other coming at him with his sword drawn, Shadow opened his palms and faced them towards each other on his chest and stood in a horse stance. The man slashed at Shadow’s right side, and Shadow took both open palms in a cutting block, hitting the man’s arm at his forearm and inner elbow, deflecting the slash. The man had begun to home with a round punch with his other hand, as Shadow brought his hands to a return, back at his chest, and out towards his left, deflecting the punch in the same manner.
The man, slightly furious, rotated his own body clock wise, attempting to round house kick at Shadow’s head. Shadow ducked as he rotated in the same direction, with his right leg out, leg sweeping the man who had only been on one leg. The man went airborne, as Shadow continues to rotate, but rising up as he did so, and lifting his leg into the air, ending in an axe kick, dropping the man to the ground with his foot planted on his chest.
Shadow extended his left arm, and the black snake with red streaks wrapped itself around the man’s neck. Shadow released him, lifted his arm, and lifted the man into the air, with his snake acting as an extended limb.
“This battle is over… You have two choices… tell us who sent you and what’s going on and live. Or, I force it out of you, and you die. Slowly…”

Asura had defeated his last opponent, and it seemed that Shadow was somewhat helpful after all He too was good with Taijutsu and expertly disarmed the enemy, reducing him to the ground. Unlike Asura, he kept this one alive. Asura was not a violent person regarding to the desire to kill others. However, in the heat of battle between SHinobi-- he knew it was either his life or theirs.

With a sigh, Asura used his Tengan to look around now. This time, taking into account the sneak attack-- he looked for further body heat signatures. Luckily, there was none around him, even under their feet. For now, they were safe.

Asura turned to Shadow, who now had one of the attackers at his mercy. He had a mask on for the moment covering the lower half of his face. However, he grunted at Shadow and Asura. There was no answer. He was just quiet and glared at his enemies. It seemed he had no information worth sharing.

However, that would only be bad for him. But Asura got an impression of what kind of person this was. This was no third rate bandit-- at least this guy was. Asura looked to Shadow, wondering how he was gonna break the guy.

(OOC: The man is under the influence of a curse mark. When you do try and break him, the curse will destroy him instantly)

Elsewhere back in Iwa, ... the clan of the Jiin were about to settle down for the night, the members of the clan lighting the sacred flames in the lamps, and with that turning out the lamps inside. However, as this occured, another band of ninjas, thieves it seemed-- were eying the place. A good number of them.

"We have our orders. We take them out, got it?" one said, and the others nodded.

Trouble was brewing for the Jiin clan and was about to change Asura's future forever!

Shadow’s patience didn’t last long.
“Fair enough… your funeral…” he said, as his Sharingan eye emphasized its glow as he stared into the man’s eyes as he activated his hypnosis. “Tell me what I want to know now…” he said. The man, looking as though he was in a trance, opened his mouth beneath his mask. He then began to shake, as if he were having a seizure. From beneath his mask, his mouth foamed. His eyes rolled into the back of his head and blood began slowly pouring from his eyes, nose, and ears. It took no more than tens seconds for the man to be calm… and lifeless.
“Hmph…” Shadow threw the body to the side. “Cursed seal… I should’ve known… I need to learn that Kinjutsu from Heise… it would’ve been useful in bringing this man back to life.” Shadow turned to the other man.
“Sorry kid… no leads… I suppose I shall now leave you to your day. You’re welcome for the help…” Shadow said, as he felt there had been no reason left for him to stay here. He began walking away as he spoke into his headset.
“Do we have any information on any leads…” Shadow asked.
“Not much… we captured one of the members... it seems as though they are a third party sent by a higher power…” Brad began. “Ayane began the procedure of interrogation… but right before he broke, he went into some form of seizure and died…” At hearing this, Shadow stopped in his tracks. He looked at the dead body on the ground, thinking maybe this ‘third party’ was one and the same. He looked at Asura.
“Do you know who this could be? Any leads as to who they are and what they want?” Shadow asked him.

Asura looked over to Shadow as he began to interrogate the man he had captured. He saw as Shadow's eyes glowed red, and he could see it-- the man's Sharigan. Aside only the rumors, but it was now clear he really was a member of the Uchiha clan. Asura felt a tinge of distrust, almost rivalry with this guy, but it was clear he outmatched him. But it was clear as Shadow attempted to use Genjutsu-- the man spasmed. A black mark crawled up its body and soon he died right before their eyes.

Asura gasped as he saw the man died. This made Asura clearly think and analyze things-- at least till Shadow attempted to leave as he began to talk into an intercom of some kind. Aggitated, Asura came over to Shadow and grabbed him by the shoulder. "Hey! Wait a minute before you just run off. One of the basic clues of a ninja-- examine all the evidence. He is dead by a curse mark, why do you think that is?" he asked, more of to impose a question.

Asura then turned to the corpse and pulled off the mask. He looked around and then saw it. A strange logo on the man's arm-- the curse mark tattoo of a strange arrow symbol. "There are only two reasons why a shinobi is given a curse mark. One, either to keep a resistant member in line-- or silence in the event they are interrogated. These are not third-rank rogue shinobi in a gang. These are skilled and trained shinobi-- Only way they are given these marks is to keep them from revealing their mission details. "

As Asura got a better look at the man-- something snapped in his mind. It was the dark around him, but with his Tengan, he could see a bit clearer. Now that the mask was off him, he noticed something important. "Wait a moment-- I know this guy. He is from Iwa--!"

FWOOSH!!

A flash and glow of fire went up in the distance! It glowed against the night sky and less than a mile away. As they saw the fire, Asura realized something important.

"That's the direction of the estate... That's my home!!" He shouted.

Without further words to Shadow, or argument-- Asura took off running! Fear rushed through his veins as he saw the flames burn against the mountainside.

Back at the estate, the thieves jumped down upon the Jiin clan. Monks who served were slaughtered before they knew what happened. The actual Jiin shinobi quickly jumped into battle and the fight turned into chaos! While these attackers were not skilled shinobi, just third rate bandits, their numbers were strong. They began to destroy the estate, knocking over torches and setting fire. Within minutes, the estate had broken out to fires and the bandits slaughtering those who were caught unaware! It would only be a matter of time before it was just plain bloodlust and slaughter!

Shadow heard the question about the cursed mark.
“But, of course… there’s a higher power at play, of course. Somebody has a secret agenda… the question begs to be answered though… who were they after…” he paused for a moment. “You, or I? I’ve made many enemies in my path of crime. And what of you, young man…” he said. It was then that the huge eruption made itself known. Shadow looked in its direction, as the boy stated that it was his home. He watched the boy run off.
‘Uh… Shadow…’ the voice of Ayane said in his headset. “I think we’ve found something. Did you hear…” it was then that, in a flash, Shadow had disappeared using the technique in which had been more known as the technique made infamous by the Fourth Hokage.
He reappeared behind Brad, who had been standing on a tree, observing the burned estate with his Byakugan. Shadow stood on the branch as well.
“…that explosion?” Ayane and Christine had both been on the ground, looking up at the slaughter that had begun.
“How is this and our issue connected, exactly?” Shadow asked. The two women looked up at him. Brad didn’t move, as he had already seen him with his 359 degree vision.
“We trailed one of them… a distributor. It seemed he got called to duty for this happening occurring now.”
“Hmmmm… do you still have an eye on him.”
“Of course…”
“We want him alive…”
“Orders?” Christine asked.
“Well… give it a moment… Brad, when we converge, you grab and drug who need immediately… and then…” Shadow said as he turned slightly, as he knew that the young man should be running in at any moment. “We’ll move in on a loud assault following… well, you’ll see who we’ll be following up in 3… 2… 1….”

The estate was in chaos as the bandits fought against the Jiin clan. The real issue was there were many bystanders and non-shinobi not part of the clan. The Jiin clan was not just the home of Shinobi of the family-- but also a shrine site for many people to come and pay homage and worship. Several non clan members would attend, including Aki-- Asura's friend!

AKi had finished up cleaning up the shrine and finishing her duties. She was walking back to her dorm room on the estate-- but suddenly she saw the fires through the windows. A look of alarm crossed her face as she looked outside, the brown haired girl seeing several trees on fire and the main gate ablaze. People were fighting. "What the..."

Suddenly there was movement in the corner of her eye. Turning down the hall, she saw a man wielding a Kusarigama! "Hey! You!" he growled.

Fright took her eyes as she quickly took off running down the hall in the opposite direction. Frightened and frantic, she took off for the exit of the house. As she got out with the stranger chasing her, she ran out of the house, now on fire, and down past the shinto gate-- but was soon stopped as two other bandits came out. All of them sported daggers and closed in on her. "Don't move girlie!" the one from behind growled. "Don't make this too hard on yourself and show us where the loot is!"

Aki didn't answer, she didn't breathe as she tried to find a way out. In terror, she ran to her right, but was grabbed by the sleeve of her outfit. "NO! LET ME GO!!" she yelled, the sounds of wicked laughter from her captures around her.

"Seems we need to teach her a lesson" the bandit grabbing her said, raising his dagger to strike her with---

WHAM!! A sudden flaming impact just launched itself at the man holding her. It looked as if a comet had struck and the blazing force caugh the bandit on fire and threw him across the estate. Aki was pushed away as something landed behind her, then swing forward and smacked into the others.

Opening her eyes, happening so fast she was reeling in confusion, she saw him. Asura now standing in front of her, his right fist blazing and his sword in his left. "A-Asura san!" Aki gasped, relieved and surprised to see him.

Asura's expression couldn't be seen but he didn't turn to her. His expression was like that of stone as he kept his eyes on the two bandits in front of him, startled by the kick he gave htem in the face.

As the bandits recovered, they looked to see the red headed Ninja. They looked with shock as they saw his eyes. The Tengan glowed as if on fire, fury showing clear in his eyes.

"Aki... stay back and don't move. " he instructed and slowly began to advance against his foes.

Shadow and his comrades awaited the man’s arrival before following through. They looked at Shadow, and he nodded. Brad, almost in an instant, had headed quickly to the outskirts, heading towards the man that they needed. The other two, as well as Shadow, ran towards the village.
“He’s got rage in him… do not help him directly… let him handle his own. Besides, if he can’t he’s not Gesshoku material…”
“Some of these guys are former Black Spider…” Christine noted.
“Hmmmmm… well then… go… go get your revenge…” she said. She smirked, as she derived from the bunch, landing in a circle of some of the men tormenting the people. Dead bodies had been along the ground. It had not been that in which she had cared about. The group stopped.
‘The White Cobra…. Shouldn’t you be dead?”
“Hmph…” without further words, she went forth to kill them all without restraint.
Shadow performed a seal, making one hundred Kage Bunshin clones to run forth and handle what they could. Meanwhile, the real Shadow perched on a roof top, watching the young man from afar. Ayane stood idly by, shooting her Kekkkei Genkai bone from her finger tips, aiming at what seemed to be the enemy from a distance.
“Eliot…”
“Shadow…” he spoke from the intercom.
“You watching and observing?”
“I am…”
“Good…”

Asura's steps were slow but the glow in his eye was furious. Aki was taken aback and suddered, as if she could feel the raw hate burning off on Asura as he moved forward. The flames on his hands were growing more intense. The first bandit layed on the ground, his face now blackened by the burns on his face and not moving. The other two bandits glared at him. It raised many questions. Why were they here? What were they doing and how did they get so close into the village to coordinate an attack on the clan?

It didn't matter to Asura as he thought one thing. "Die!"

Suddenly Asura's aura began to change. His hair wafted as a surge of chakra radiated from his body! His muscles tensed and flexed a bit, the aura of orange-red chakra rose from him, and his eyes glowed brighter. Despite the Tengan showing, his pupils were masked by the orange glow behind his eyes. His teeth were clenched tighter. The chakra from him was not regular-- it was as if it seeped with raging flames, burning with wrath as it fueled Asura further. the power of the Mantra of Wrath!

To those who saw him, including the bandits, it was as if his rage literally turned him into a demon!

While the two bandits looked in shock, they backed up, seeing the seething power in alarm. Asura's sword was now dropped in the state of silent fury, soft growls escaping him like a furious jungle cat.

"Guys! GUYS A LITTLE HELP HERE!!" one of the bandits shouted aloud, calling for help.

It was then Asura roared and charged!! "GRAAAAAA!!!"

WIth a roar of his mouth and arms, a massive fire ball ripped out from the very air around him. The power of the Jiin clan's mastery of fire and the new Wrath Mantra made the fire almost appear out of nowhere, spawned by the aura of hate around him. The large fire ball rocketed forward and smashed into the ground near the bandits, exploding with tremendous force that the flash looked like lightning in the distance.

One bandit was blown up, his parts raining down the hillside of the shrine while the other bandit had been knocked back, not hurt but stunned. As more bandits began to show up, Asura charged.

In a ragged path, he weaved his way forward and soon was on top of the first bandit. The look of wide eye fright was soon extinguished as Asura's well placed fist smashed his head into the stone ground, his strength of his Taijutsu punch enhansed by his present state.

From the back, Aki looked on in fright of her own as she witnessed Asura become enraged and destroy into the bandits, and yet more came.

A group of eight bandits now saw Asura and the remains of their two colleagues. "Kill him!!" another bandit roared, and they all focused their assaults on Asura. They than threw kunia at him. Asura looked and saw explosion tags on them, all of them trying to strike and blow him up in the cross fire.

Shadow looked on, as the boy had now been surrounded by eight men. Parts of him wanted to stick to his guns and see how he did. However, eight on one was hardly fair enough. Shadow stood up.
“Intervening?”Ayane asked. Shadow smirked under his mask as he made two entrance portals. One directly in front of him, and one below him in the sky beyond the building in which he perched on.
He took out four kunai that once belonged to the Fourth Hokage and threw them at specific angles, calculated using the power of his Sharingan. The kunai went in through the portal and an exit portal was made in front of four of the eight oncoming kunai with tags. The kunai he threw went through and hit four of them in the air, ricocheting and heading towards the throwers. The explosive kunai headed into the air before exploding. Taking his katana out, Shadow jumped down into the second entrance portal, blade first, letting gravity take him. The exit portal, however, had been beside one of the eight been vertical, thus Shadow came out of the portal with amazing force, stabbing through his neck, and, due to the help of the momentum given to him by the gravity, allowed him to push through to the adjacent opponent, not penetrating his neck completely, but allowing a slit to the throat far enough for him to bleed out.
From over his shoulder, he could see his kunai almost reaching four of the now remaining six. In a flash, he has disappeared, reappearing using the Flying Raijin Technique, at the first Kunai, ,slashing at the man, grabbing the kunai, and reappearing to the next in the same fashion for a consecutive kill. All this happened within a manner of 3 seconds from start to finish, and the six would all fall lifeless or near death at virtually the same time. This left just the other two, as Shadow had reappeared using a portal to the building next to Ayane.
“That was fast…”
“Yea… I’m beginning to run out of my own chakra though…” he said, as he put his hand on his gut…

(OOC: Sorry for the long overdue delay-- but back and willing)

Asura was now in a blind rage. His power, his fury, his hatred all piled and focused to the enemies that had choose the folly to attack his home and loved ones. Why, how, who all was swirled in his mind, but came out as the power he developed in his training-- the power of the Mantra of Wrath, fueled his power. Even the fact that the mysterious Shadow had swiftly took out a good number of the bandits to invade his home-- Asura didn't dare stop.

Even enemies who were down, he didn't stop till they were scorched and dismembered. Even now, his chakra could be seen as a flaming aura around his body, his stance almost feral as he just finished smoldering a bandit to death, the flames even coming closer to Shadow-- threatening to burn him too.

If this kept up, Asura would go mad and be even a bigger threat against the bandits than they were!

Watching from afar, near where Shadow was... Aki watched with shock and fear. She knew Asura, and knew this was not him. Whatever this person was, consumed by rage, this was not the Asura she knew. "No... no please... stop it... please stop..." she gasped, seeing the sheer fury he was exiting upon his foes.

Turning to Shadow, Aki-- not knowing who he was but he was not a bandit-- turned to him. "Please, please stop Asura. Stop him before he does any more. I know you don't know me or him but please... stop him before he does something reregretable." she begged!

She would help, but she didn't have the heart to try and restrain Asura. Even with her skills in sealing jutsu, she couldn't bare to bring harm to him.

Shadow looked on at the amazing development of the young man. It seemed as though his potential met expectations. It was then the one in which accompanied Asura had been distraught. She begged him to stop him. Shadow turned away from her at first. In his mind, he agreed that he was beginning to exceed the point of sanity. But, on the other hand, as an Uchiha; Shadow did not want to get involved in how the young man wanted to go about avenging his home.
“This is not my choice to make…” Shadow said to the girl.
“Lord Shadow…” Ayane began. Shadow cut his eyes at her. “At the rate he’s raging… he could lose control and kill innocence. You’re looking to recruit him, corrent? You know, that’s not what Gesshoku stands for…” she began. He rolled his eyes.
“Yea yea… very well… this is what I will do…” he said, as he makes a portal and jumps through, reappearing before Asura. The flames coming off of him enraged. They began to flare at him, but he lifted his hands, using his power to repel it. He then took some of this flame, bending it to his will and light a ring of fire around him, as it turns into black flames. The flames lift, forming a big barrier of blaze around the two.
“Listen… calm yourself… you are angry, and I understand. But, look at your friend. Look at her response to your rage.” Shadow looked up and saw Ayane now also with Brad and Christine, as Brad had a body over his shoulder. He nodded, and they disappeared from sight. He continued on. “Now, I’m not going to stop you. If this is how you want to avenge your people; do it. I encourage it. However…” Shadow paused. “Do so with a controlled mind and clear intentions. I will restrain you until you are focused enough to be able to make a logical decision, if I must…” Shadow said as the snakes had come from his sleeve and cloak…
