The gray sky was a reflection of how dull Inshitsu’s mind was feeling. Inshitsu forced himself to stand up off the cold floor that was the past home of Kumo’s Bijuu, a stark dwelling that he had resided within for so long.
“I wonder what happened to the Bijuu. If the legend is true, someone with immense power must’ve been attacked it. Or at the very least, something did.”
Inshitsu’s mind barely pondered the question before he dropped the thought. “Whatever, if it was strong enough to beat the Bijuu, then I definitely haven’t met them. Grave couldn’t have done it. No way.”
Inshitsu walked into the open space in the front of the mouth of the cave. “Another day to live, another day to play around with some charka.” Inshitsu rolled his shoulders as he started the flow of charka within his body. Inshitsu grunted as he guided the flow of chakra into both of his palms. All of Inshitsu could hear was the flow of electricity as he flung his hands forward. He watched as the spheres of raiton made contact with the wall of stone and created a crater that was close to the height of the wall. He couldn’t help but smirk at the result.
Yet, his goal wasn’t to stroke his own ego. Inshitsu’s face slowly turned to a frown as he remembered his clan’s element. Despite how he could use it without issues, he could feel the flow of charka diminish whenever he formed ranton. As he started to form a sphere of raiton in his right palm, he braced himself for the decay of charka. However, he couldn’t feel the decay this time. The flow stayed strong. He thrusted his arm forward, launching a beam of ranton into the sky.
“Well, at least something is looking better.” Inshitsu walked away from the cave to begin his day.
