Kokoro looked up at the being. She began to ponder about it. At her worst case scenario, she was given another one year on the Earth.
“Very well…” she stood up now. “And what if whatever it was that was obtained… no longer exists? Would you settle for an offering of equal power? And call me stupid, but how would I offer it to you… would you want them destroyed, Shinigami? Would I just call on you?” Kokoro put her hand to her mouth and began to blush in embarrassment, before chuckling a bit. “I would agree to the terms. I’ve just never gotten around to learning how to offer a death God anything!” she began to laugh, before reconstructing her composure.
“Sorry!” She looked as cheerful as possible. “If ya don’t have humor, what else is there!?”

Kokoro’s face flushed for a moment, as he didn’t find her funny. It was not before long that she found her cheerful self smiling again.
“Well then…” she sat back on his knees again. “If there is no other way….” She bowed. “I accept…” she was unsure of herself; whether she would be able to accomplish this; or even if she wanted to. But, a year of worry free living at a worst case before having her soul given of to this Death God. She rose once more.
“I will bring you the eyes of Uchiha Shizou…”she then said to him.

Kokoro’s skin began to crawl; her naked skin now covered in markings and seals. She looked up to the smiling Death God.
“I understand. This might be a stretch, great one; but I request a perhaps 3 month grace period before completely pursuing this battle. Time to build myself and come up with a strategy to bring you what you ask for. Not asking for 3 extra months, sir… ma’am… whatever you might be… do Gods have genders?” she said out loud, but actually questioning herself. “Anyway… just a period of time where I will not be punished for no productivity…”

“Hmmmm…. That’s very interesting…” she said, regarding the idea of genders. “Gods procreating… I wonder if that how Angels are made… she began to think to herself. His sinister look made her uneasy, but it was something that she didn’t show.
“Understood, Death God. And, I assume that it is forbidden to speak of this encounter in the world of the living? Not that I would want to tell anybody my true intentions anyhow…” She stood in the middle of this emptiness.
“Death God… is there a better place than this? And, if there is, why was I sent here? Was judgement already placed upon me and I do not remember?” She began to ask too many questions… she halted immediately. “I’m sorry… my curiosities always get the better of me…”

“That’s… so interesting…” she said. “Maybe… maybe I would want to be feared… hey…” She looked up quickly. “Because my soul belongs to you… what would happen if I were to died and get sent back here before the year is up? Does this deal make me virtually unkillable for the year?” she began thinking of the legend of the man who lived to serve his god by continuously offering souls. “You know… for a Death God, you’re not such a bad guy… or bad energy. I guess people usually incorporate Death with bad…” she observed the God’s work. “Do I return to my old body?”
