| The sounds of different birds cried out in the jungle that awoke Asura from his long rest. He felt like he could sleep forever, but enough was enough. His eyes soon took in his surroundings of the palace ruins where he now lived in-- deep in the Blood Vale Jungle territory, home of the tigers. He pulled off the sheets of his bedding and sat up to rub his eyes. It was mid-morning and he felt like he could still curl up and fall back to sleep.
But he was driven to do something productive. Groggily, he reached to the side of the bed where a warn, night-stand like table was. He found the pack of scrolls he kept there and drew out one of the materials.
Even in a situation as he was in, he was determined to finish his studies on Yang release, and the properties they could use. Though he never needed to treat anyone as a test, it would only be used right if he had the right motivation to use it.
However, he had one theory he wanted to try. Though his stomach grumbled with the desire for food, his mind was more hungry to answer the questions of his studies.
Could he manifest his chakra into something new?
With the covers still around him, he crossed his legs on the bed and made a hand sign to focus. Slowly he focused his own chakra inward, to the aspect that governed life. His own chakra network. It was difficult for him to actually use chakra to influence himself, but the more he realized it, he done so before.
Proper chakra control. Increasing one's own abilities with its flow. THe principal was there, even though he rarely used it. Slowly he tried to draw his chakra from all around his body-- into a physical, solid aura around him.
As he focused, minute by minute, his body slowly began to glow, the aura of chakra from his body began to wave and shape out, almost as if to become something new.
THUMP!!
The door of Asura's room was thrown open. "HEY WAKE UP, RUNT!"
The manifestation-- almost like an arm out of Asura's back, retreated as his focus vanished. Asura opened his eyes and soon saw Ravana in the doorway with that dumb broad smirk on his face.
"Don't think for a second you get to take it easy on my watch," the man said loudly, almost enough to rattle the peace of the jungle. "Up for some training?"
A sigh escaped Asura as he slipped out of his bed, his clothing still on from last night. "I HAD been training till you bardged in. You ever heard of knocking?" Asura grumbled.
"Force of habit. I make it a point to not knock at least for women." he said with wicked tone of voice.
"Jeez, your shameless. " Asura stood up and stretched. He felt he was really close to getting to use Yang release, but he still didn't find the tell just yet. "Can we at least get something to eat first?"
A chuckle came out of Ravana. "Now you're talking. Can't fight on an empty stomach. I hope you slept well, cause I am gonna enjoy whipping you into shape."
Ravana's brutal enthusiasm made Asura cringe. Of all people, Ravana was probably the hardest taskmaster of Taijutsu he ever knew. Either way, it was training he needed all the same.
"Alright, I'm coming..." he said and went to get some food before enduring Ravana's 'torture'.
