The land of waterfalls was a beautiful land and Asura was already starting to feel at ease from the scenery. But that would be a mistake to let one's guard down as he moved across the land. Still, there was no reason why anyone in Taki would be seeking him out.

Still, his body twitched with excitement and nervousness that not even the waterfalls and wind would ease. He could see it now in the distance and growing ever closer... the giant tree. IT must have been over 20 stories tall by its trunk alone. It was as tall as a skyscraper or the palace of Shinkoku. It reminded Asura what he would imagine the ten tails tree would have looked like. He only got a small glimpse of it once during the time he was sent back in time-- but this was hardly as big or as ominous. This one was pure nature and had no such negative impact...

... except for the rumored dangerous monster that lurked inside.

In a matter of time, he waited outside of the tree, looking at the towering bowes above-- and the large gaping opening that made the tree look like a giant cave than a tree. Even the entrance alone reached a good several stories.

Already, he could feel a strong presence inside. The five tails was inside there-- supposidly rumored to be a mighty wolf . He knew was it was a creature with extreme elemental prowess-- one of the reasons asura wished to seek it out. Even though he was spoken of with fear and contempt-- Asura felt drawn to the legend of the great 5 tails. It wasn't merely power-- it was admiration of the legendary creature.

If the legend of the tailed beasts were true, that they were sentient and not just animals alone... perhaps he would make an ally out of the creature instead.

"So this is it..." Asura spoke to himself and looked up into the dark opening of the tree. "The five tailed wolf, Houkou... I wonder what kind of creature he is..."

His memories of Hayabusa and the power he wield was interesting. It only recently did he now understand Hayabusa was the former host of this creature. His fate now was unknown, but Asura now could commune with this creature. In the end, he preferred partnership over domination. A part of him hoped he could commune with the great wolf--- but that didn't mean he shouldn't be ready for a fight.

Everyone said they were dangerous and capable of great destruction. Still, Asura remembered the legends of the jinchuriki who fought alongside their tailed beasts, especially the 7th Hokage. In the end, Asura felt more compelled to see them as people more than mere beasts.

With a defiant step forward, Asura entered the cave to meet the giant wolf. He didn't know how to introduce himself, but he was sure the wolf would be on guard once he caught wind of his arrival.

"Helloooo?" Asura called out leisurely, sounding rather positive as he made his way into the tree. "Anyone home?"

The inside of the tree was pure wood-- almost as if it was a jutsu created this place, similar to deep forest emergence. Still, as he entered he saw a majority of the 'walls' stretch upward, to form the hollow end. It was moderately dark, but Asura kept a vigilant eye out. Still despite where he looked, he saw no sign of any wolf or tails.

"*Whistle* Here boy. Here boy," Asura called out in a light tease, wondering if he would emerge if he talked to him like a real dog. He soon took out something from his bag-- a giant bone from one of the jungle beasts back in Shinkoku. "Want a nice juicy bone? A peace offering. "

There was still no answer, but Asura ventured in slowly. He could hear some things. The rush of air from the hollow tree, drops of water. Now the inside of the tree reached up and far into a dark ceiling. He couldn't tell where the tailed beast was... but soon he stepped in something. At first he cringed, thinking he stepped into some... droppings.

Luckily it was water, but where did it come from. He heard more drips, till he soon turned, and found something.

A mass of water that circled before him. His eyes focused on the water, and soon he saw it was a mass of water that circled a bright colored object. A white fluffy tail.

Asura's eyes widened, the size of the tail alone was tremendous. It was well 5 times his size-- just the tip. Almost leisurely, the tail wagged, splashing some water into the air and slithered away into the dark.

Asura forced himself to breathe. He felt the small instinct in his mind to run-- but he came so far, he wasn't about to stop now. For now, he waited and hoped the wolf would honor his request to appear. Still, the size of the tails alone was daunting and made Asura feel he would face a creature the size of a mountain.

And he thought Boss Byakko was big.

"Hehe... my what big tails you have..." the little red-haired shinobi forced out a laugh with a nervous joke. Despite the silence, he knew the five tails was aware he was there.

Within large tree trunk rested at the base a large powerful beast that had just finished restoring its powers to the fullest. Opening one eye as it became sharp like a cats, only returning to its original state. Soon after there could be seen flames brushing into the air, lighting having sparks flying across the air then a powerful gust of wind flowing around. Its ears would perk up only to hear the sound of whistling followed by a human’s voice calling out it. “Here boy. Here boy.” It repeated itself. The smell that came from the air soon became a foul odor one that would cause the beast to growl lightly as it would begin to move around.

First it lifted all five tails as it could feel the human behind it dropping them down with great force crushing at the base of the tree. ”That smell…you damn Uchiha how did you survive!” Enraged by this the eyes of the wolf became sharper with a furious power roaring around it. Soon letting out a loud roar as well the beast took one step crushing the inside of the hollow tree once more. ” I will not be made a fool twice in a row I shall defeat and end you here and now!”

Asura stood his place in the dark hollowed tree. He was tempted to use his power to make a small flame to light the area, but that felt more dangerous. Single him out if the wolf decided to attack first-- ask questions later. He bit his lip in trying to keep patience...

... then he heard it. THe wolf-like growl that rumbled in the air around him. His heightened sense of hearing made him hear it clearly and caused the hair of his neck to stand on end. His breath stiffened in his chest, but he forced it out slowly. Slowly, he drew his attention to the source. He soon saw light sources-- a flickering spark, flame, and the feel of a rush of wind-- but it wasn't from a source as they moved.

It was the remaining tails. With a sudden movement-- the tails came whipping down, and caused an odd shock to the ground. Alamred, Asura reacted and jumped far up out of the way.

It was when he finally heard it. The voice-- the voice of the beast itself. It confused him with an Uchiha-- Hayabusa probably. Each step it made caused a quake of the ground.

Asura hopped up against one of the inner roots inside of the tree. "Whoh-whoh-wait a minute!!" Asura shouted aloud, his hands out to stop the violent greeting. "I'm not Hayabusa! Do I really resemble that snake!?" he shouted aloud.

Still intending to talk civil to the Five tails-- Asura risked a little light. Extending his hand, he focused and created fire in the air above his palm. Though a simplest incarnation of katon-- it only served to illuminate the immediate area, but hardly did anything wide-spread to the cave. He held the fire above his head so the five tails could get a good look at him-- wherever he was.

"I'm not your enemy. Please, wait." Asura called out. "Take a careful look-- er, sniff. " He didn't know what connection Hayabusa had to the creature-- for all he knew, the tailed beast might have recognized him by smell alone. But if he WAS indeed the same tailed beast that was inside Hayabusa, perhaps he would recognize Asura from before-- even though for a time, he didn't know that Houkou and Hayabusa were related.

Either way, the wolf didn't care for Hayabusa that much. That they had in common.

"Do you recognize me? My name is Asura Jiin," Asura spoke aloud to the wolf in the dark. "I mean you no harm! Please, take a minute. "

He paused, worried how clear the wolf was on him. He was being sincere. He wasn't on any orders-- he was here on his own wishes. He didn't know how much the wolf was aware of from his time inside Hayabusa, but if he was right-- perhaps the wolf could realize he was telling the truth. After all, how could he be Hayabusa if he saw from Hayabusas point of view.

"Do you recognize me?" Asura called out in a loud but calm tone, despite the pulse racing in his veins. "Please, I just want to talk to you about a few things. Will you honor me that, mighty Houkou? "

The ground continued to rumble with each step the Gobi would take. Soon the voice of the human came across the air. Hearing that the human say that he was not Hayabusa the Gobi continued to growl at the figure. ”Its not a matter of looking like a snake, it’s the matter of smelling of a Uchiha!” It would move closer to only hear him speak of not being an enemy to him.

The Gobi would come into light finally showing its silver fur with its golden eyes glaring at its target with each tailed taking the form of an element that it controlled. But its paws would be black to its ankles like socks going upward towards it elbow. ”It does not matter…an enemy is someone that is not human and you…seem to fail to understand what you are.” It lifted up and released a hellish roar going in only to laugh loudly. ”You humans know nothing of honor only strength and killing, now die.” It came down with a powerful crushing force aiming at the human.

Player due starting the topic, you will be allowed first move and the battle will move on from there. Please post up techniques, stats and items that you will be using.

Finally, Asura got a good look of the mighty Houkou. He was indeed a white wolf with the five tails that flickered with elemental chakras of each one. A mix of awe and amazement crossed Asura's face-- that was till the vicious snarl came across the air. It seemed either Hayabusa's stink clung to Asura for some reason or another. Further, it was offended how humans were nothing but of dishonorable. That stung a bit-- and would of hurt worse as the wolf charged and swiped its paw at Asura.

The impact struck and crushed the root down under the wolf's paw. The smoke and dust lifted around him as he growled... however the scent was gone.

"Guess your sniffer is not as good as I thought. "

Houkou could look to find Asura now among one of the bows inside the tree, having reappeared as if out of thin air. Behind him-- one could see the light tear in space as Asura had used his tiger claw weapon to rip open a hole to just evade the attack (Cosmetic dodge only for this instance.)

"You're wrong about that-- but after being inside Hayabusa for so long, I can understand your feelings regarding that." Asura declared and looked to the wolf. "But believe me, I have no liking to the Uchiha either. That aside, I tried to be reasonable and honorable to talk to you-- but looks like you want a fight. "

Asura assessed the situation. He knew his own jutsu options were limited against this foe. There was no doubt about it. If he was going to survive this encounter-- he was going to need to use the Mantra Gates he had worked to master. If things got bad, he might even need to go to the seventh gate just to make it through. Still, he had not come unprepared.

"I have nothing but respect and admiration for you, Houkou. It's why i sought you out," Asura said as he swallowed his fear and smirked. "But if you want a fight, I'll give you one. Just don't complain that I didn't show you honor-- cause stop me if you heard this one..."

Despite the comical start, Asura focused his physical energy inward. He felt it-- the shift in his chakra flow as he commanded the forced angle to change. His body heated up with energy-- kinetic from his own muscles. He glared at Houkou with determination and made a hand sign-- only for his own focus. "Shishen style ... Mantra Inner Gates..." he hissed through the sudden surge of power. FLicker of energy began to surge around him as he powered up. "The Third Gate-- Manipura--- RELEASE!!"

A flash of crimson shot around him but gave way to a golden aura of energy around Asura, illuminating his immediate surrounding as bright as his fire had. His muscles suddenly bulged by the increase in power-- showing a more muscular physice. It was a transformation-- only possible through sheer effort. If Houkou thought he was inhuman-- he was mistaken as this was a power any human with determination could obtain.

"Tell me, why did the boy cry wolf? ," Asura teased... using wolf jokes to aggrivate the now radical wolf.

Seeing as the human was able to avoid the starting strike it would mean they knew how to battle, leaving the Gobi to stare at them carefully. Pulling its paw back the beast took a few steps back hearing what the human said about the sniffer was not working. It would take a small step forward growling once more. ”Seems that mouth of your never stays shut…” The smoke and dust covered the human’s scent a bit but having its ears move around the Gobi was able to detect the person with ease. Gobi soon showed its teeth as the human would speak giving off his position with every word. Turning its body it carefully it leaned down into a pouncing stance.

As soon as the word, “RELEASE” was said Gobi launched like a rocket with its jaw open aiming at and its paws coming together to deal a crushing blow ignoring the question that was asked as the battle was more so on showing ones might not talk.

Arriving Grave heard a loud thunderous crash coming nearby. Taking his time to look around for a bit he blinked as he noticed a small figure that looked like it had several tails. He was able to keep his distances from the beasts but it jumped at something from the looks of it. Blinking and trying to get a better look Grave shrugged it off thinking it may have been the other soul he detected that was heading towards this location.

Grave: "Hmm, I wonder what is going on here...oh well better keep safe distances and just continue to observer this."

(Invasion Time!! At least I'm not in the battle so I can watch it. xP)

"To get a Howling experience. " Asura cracked-- but it seemed the wolf didn't care for jokes and was only making things worse as it tracked sound. It was about time it started to engage a bit. The words came short as Houkou lunged to attack.

However, Asura was already ready as he gripped the handle part of his weapon-- the Soul Tiger Claws. They glowed with his soul energy and chakra-- something that Houkou couldn't see behind him. Still, Asura took action. "Sacred Tiger Claws!" he declared, spun and swiped. With a twist and spin, Asura lunged into the void his claws tore through the area-- and closed just as Houkou landed his attack.

The crash was loud and more smoke was kicked up-- but no doubt it would confuse Houkou as not only Asura was gone, but all traces of his scent was as well. Time-space ninjutsu sure was a pain, and this was far more different than Hayabusa's method was. If Houkou had any knowledge of it, this was one he was not familiar with.

On the far side of the tree's inside, a tear opened up again. Asura landed soundlessly upon the ground in a crouch. Already a bit of sweat began to drip from his brow at the speed of Houkou's attack. As much as he wanted to crack jokes, the wolf's speed was something fierce. If he wasn't careful, he would get hammered.

Looks like i thought right using these guys... he thought as he pulled out a scroll from his pack, and opened it-- revealing two summoning seals. Opening it out and holding it with his foot, he took both hands and bit the tips of his thumbs. Blood pooled at the tips as he smeared it over it.

"My, what big ears you have!" Asura called. The tease was followed by Asura placing both hands on the two circles. "SUMMONING JUTSU!"

A bang of smoke erupted across the room. Even with Houkou's speed, it would take him a bit of time to get there-- and now the fight had changed.

"Hmm... well you really stepped into it this time, haven't you Asura?" a voice growled from the smoke. "A wolf of all things."

"Yeah, I think I smell it on his feet. He really stepped into wolf shit this time, brother," another voice said, equally mocking and equally smug. "Maybe we should get out of here."

"Naw, we do that and he will never pay us." the first said.

Asura bit his lip-- always reminded how much he hated this pair.

"Well thats a good point. Besides, life would be boring without him." the second said.

The smoke soon cleared-- revealing a pair of two were-tigers. Both clad in shinobi garb and mufflers but with lightly different tones of black/violet fur. One, Kagetsumi sported a pair of chained kusarigama in his paws. While the other held a short katana in hand, now both on either side of Asura.

"Hey, Tweedle-dee and tweedle-dumb? Mind if we keep our focus on the enemy. Trust me, we will need it." Asura grumbled.

The Meetings of the Lone Wolves (Challenge against HOukou Battle) 2KEysYu

Both cunning and devious, these two tigers stand out among the others of the Blood Mist Jungle. Unlike many of their peers, they take on more humanoid appearances, standing on two legs but still upholding their tiger like features. Both are dressed and armed as Shinobi, trained in many of their arts. They also have shades of black/dark violet fur with stripes on their bodies. They also wear different color scarves. The two brothers are twins, sharing many traits between them and both enjoy working together, with the occasional competitions between one another. Whether its battle or social events, the two cause trouble wherever they go. The two specialize in stealth and subterfuge tactics, making one of the Tiger tribe's most dangerous warriors.

With Kagetsumi and Chigatsumi on his side, his odds of dodging his attacks and counter attacking were raised. Alone he wasn't as fast but with those two they could do more. If he could just tolerate their heckling.

"Let's put the age old question to the test, " Chigatsumi asked as he gripped his blade. "Right Brother?"

"Which is better-- cats or dogs." Kagetsumi smirked to mock Houkou even more.
