.:: A New Challenge ::. [Yukimura, Hayabusa ]

“Wear It or not?” he questioned to himself as he stared in the mirror. He decided against it. He wasn’t officially even part of the village yet so he decided he would wait till he met with the Hokage. He walked out of the room wearing his black covert garb and leaf village flak jacket, Below the garb where his weights he was now wearing. He had grown stronger from the last time he was in a quarrel with his partner but still, his power wasn’t at his level yet that he had seen. He said nothing as he walked in silence saying nothing to himself only thinking. His mind drifted to what those to two said when they were on the roof.
“Your father was senju. If so that means you could be the only one of your family still remaining.”
If he was the only one of his family left that his parents had died. Or were they missing. All these thoughts ran through his head till finally he arrived at the mission stand. He couldn’t pick up the missions himself so he decided he would wait for his partner to come so he could pick them up himself. In the distance he noticed someone walking towards the area.
“Hayabusa!” Yukimura said standing up and waving his hands at his partner who was nearing him more and more. The fireball flashed in his mind and his hand fell down from its height. He didn’t want to show jealously but he knew this man was stronger than him.
“For right now.” He said to himself out of Hayabusa’s hearing range.

Hayabusa bowed to both the Hokage, even though his back had been turned, and the Jounin. Hayabusa watched as the ooze clone drowned out in front of him. He had left without a scratch from fighting himself. But, this, on top of the last meeting with his ‘partner’ showed him his flaws. He needed to get better. Hayabusa smiled and turned, as he was told about being a Chuunin of the Konoha village. Walking off, Hayabusa had began to go towards the area that dispersed the missions. He had now been allowed to do B Rank missions. He had hoped that his partner was ready for this responsibility. He knew that B Rank Missions could be pretty intense, especially because not only did they never do anything but D Rank, but they never saw how compatible they were together.
As he stood in front of the mission man, who waved at him, he stood, waiting.
“You look… happy today…” the man behind the desk said, as he began to prepare D Rank missions for him. Hayabusa put his hand out to tell him to hold those missions.
“Well, of course… I am officially a Chuunin…” he said. He had pride in it. He then heard his name. He looked over and it had been the man. He looked up at the sky to see the position of the sun and then down to his shadow to calculate the time of day. He smirked. The man was on time.
Hayabusa folded his arms and nodded.
“Punctual… you might being a fine bit of company yet…” He said. “In light of this fresh start then… comes mutual respect…” he said, as he slightly bowed to him. He then stood up.
“So… I’m a Chuunin now…” he said with a smirk and a pause. He kind of waited to be praised. “So… if you’re up to it, we should take on a B Rank. So much money can be gained, but it is a risk, understand that. Think you’re up for danger?” he asked.

The amount of respect Hayabusa commanded was of a bit, distracting and annoying but still he deserved it. He had reached Chunin already before he had even reached full membership of the village. Yukimura smiled about the comment of being punctual.
“Yeah, I respect you a lot more.” He said referring to the battle they had almost a week ago. He was indeed star struck but he didn’t let that get under his skin. Yukimura knew there was something different about him now. If what those men said were true than… He perished the thought and continued on to his partner.
“Congratulations on making Chunin.” Yukimura said holding out his hand for him to shake it. Yukimura than heard him mention the Idea of taking on more dangerous missions. It was true that he had indeed gotten stronger and learn some new jutsu but he was still not ready. Though the idea of taking on real ninja work intrigued him more than doing the basic grunt work.
“I wouldn’t mind at all” Yukimura said. He knew that he was taking something dangerous on and that he would have to be careful. But at that current moment in time if he let Hayabusa pass him up he would consider all his training and hard work in vain. He nodded and bowed.
“I will happily join your team if you let me, Hayabusa-San.” He said being a bit more respectful than usual. He didn’t like it but Hayabusa sure deserved it. He walked back towards a chair and waited for Hayabusa to grab the mission details so that the two would finally be able to go about their way.

“Excellent…” He turned to the mission director and began weeding out a few missions. He had collected a handful that branched off of one main mission. He turned, after signing as the team leader, and remet with Yukimura.
“Ok… seems these will be pretty dangerous. We have to go out to an abandoned town north to us here. Seems a squad had gotten outnumbered and pinned. Luckily, they were in Fire Country, and one of them had a messenger bird to relay the need of support, food, and back up. They were on a mission to escort a person of interest here. That is the second mission…” Hayabusa looked up to him. “We have to see that mission through.” He looked back down. “Thirdly, we disband the group and find out the name of the man, woman, or group who sent them. License to kill all but one of the highest power. We want him or her for intel. You are to support the three man team and escorted names listed below…” Hayabusa looked at them and his eyes widened.
“Genshin… no wonder…” he said. “You haven’t been home for a week and a half…” He rolled up the briefing and put it away. “Do you have everything you need for this? If not, go ahead home and get what you need. If not meet me north of the main gates about 10 minutes walk at my house. If you have everything… just follow me.” He said, awaiting answers.

Yukimura felt that he had a personal connection with of those on the list. He didn’t read the entire list. In fact if anything he would just hear Hayabusa explain the mission in full detail once they were on the way. He didn’t go home instead he went to the store to see if he could get any last minute weapons or equipment that would help him. He didn’t buy anything but he did notice something that peaked his interest. He would have returned for it later.
Yukimura would’ve arrived at the gates faster, it was just the fact that he was wearing weights. Though even with the weights on Yukimura was considerably faster than before. He leaped off the roof of the tall building and landed on his feet with his right knuckle on the ground. It was jump that caught him by surprise but he was fine. It was obvious they were on a time schedule so Yukimura would have to run as fast he can with his weights on. He leaped up again and continued on running to the front gate.
When he got there, Hayabusa stood patiently waiting. Yukimura looked at his watch. It had been nine minutes exactly.
“Sorry Hayabusa, I would have made it in five. But these weights are holding me down.” He looked at the scrolls In Hayabusa’s Hand.
“You mind telling me about who that Genshin guy is and giving me a plan before we get there?” Yukimura asked.

Upon departure from Yukimura, Hayabusa went home. He had all of the things that he needed, except what he figured he would need the least. Hayabusa went up to his room and grabbed the two puppets that he made. He figured it may give Genshin an edge on retaliation. He strapped them to his back and went outside, waiting for his partner, after grabbing some food, enough to get them back home. Upon his arrival, Hayabusa simply summoned his hands to have him follow Hayabusa. He began jumping from tree to tree.
“Genshin is my teacher… or rather he was. We have held the weight of a community of 20 for years on oour own… me, him, my siblings…” he paused in talking. “As far as a plan, no not yet. We have to get there and brief ourselves on the situation. We need to familiarize ourselves with the set up, surroundings, and whereabouts of all targets. Chances are targets A and B, the group and escorted, will be held close together. Either that or target B and C, which is the higher power, will be together. All in all… it will be a 2 different location mission, so we must work efficiently.” He said. He waited for any last moment questions before they would come close to the abandoned town.

“Split up he says. Go scout the area he says.” Yukimura said to himself as he leaped from tree to tree. They had arrived in the abandon town. Hayabusa had went to go do something important but neglected to give him the details.
“Psh some mutual understanding” Yukimura said leaping over another tree. He stopped on a branch that supported his weight. He turned his gaze those who were walking around. His eyes scanned the area while mentally recording the data in his head.
“There’s at least twenty foot soldiers.” He said to himself. The sheer number didn’t impress him. Most likely they were there as just a bluff. Most carried blunt weapons or swords, The typical M.O of a thug. Most of the foot soldiers monitored a tall building with three stages. The roof was littered with five men standing at a door waiting. Yukimura I.D the building as the hostage building.
“That’s where they are.” He said. He looked to the left of the hostage building and noticed a toward. I must have meant radio communications.
“So these aren’t your average street thugs.” He said. Radio communications meant that they could call for back up. Yukimura noted that he would have to take that out before anything. To the right was another building. It was then Yukimura saw the man walk out. Yukimura turned the binoculars towards him and zoomed in. He had a giant scar that led from his lip to his right eye. It was fresh.
“Someone inside must have done that to him.” Yukimura said. He looked at the time. He had to return back to the rally point. It was there Yukimura would give him the full analysis.

“It’s not pretty.” Yukimura said to Hyabusa. What he had done Yukimura didn’t know but it must have been very important.
“The hostages are surrounded by, twenty foot soldiers. To the right of the Hostage building they have a communication tower. If we don’t take that out than we could have reinforcements in matter of minutes.” Yukimura said shuddering at the thought. If they had a force this size at the moment then what would be the possible force size of the reinforcements. Yukimura continued on speaking.
“The commander is on the left of the Hostage building. He’s the one with the scar from his left lip to his right eye. From what I saw the scar was pretty fresh.” Yukimura said.
“Our first plan of action has to be taking out that communication tower.” Yukimura stressed, “If we begin with the foot soldiers than they can call in reinforcements.”
Yukimura waited for Hayabusa to say something.

Hayabusa looked at the town and stopped upon arrival. He looked at Yukimura.
“Alright… we’re going to test out your observation skills. Go scout the area… numbers is what we need. Numbers and location. I will be overlook. I know that there has to be something on the perimeter as a scout. I’ll handle. Meet back here as soon as possible…” he said, as they departed.
During his own mission, Hayabusa went into searching for the security from the outside. Either the outside enemy would prevent them from coming in, or out, or they will pose a possible threat in finding reinforcements before they would make it back to the village. He didn’t know what position the group of people were in. If they were weak, then it’d take some time.
While scouting, Hayabusa could see two men, slowly walking the perimeter. He watched their paths. He closed his eyes and slowly opened, revealing his Sharingan eye. He could see their chakra lingering in the air. He predicted their usual paces. They intersected at one point. Hayabusa used this to his advantage, as he awaited atop of a branch over that point. As they approached each other, they began conversation. Hayabusa observed them to make sure they didn’t have any kind of device. There had been a perch nearby so he assumed they communicated by bird.
“So you’re free kill then?” he said from above, the two looked up. He immediately jumped down, unsheathing his blade and slashing one through his neck. He quickly turned, thrusting the blade into the other’s skull. He paused for a moment in that stance to confirm their deaths, before letting the body slide off his blade. He wiped the blood on the dead men’s clothing and sheathed it. Upon doing so, Hayabusa dragged the bodies out of sight, just in case.
He met back at the meeting area, waiting not for long. He watched Yukimura as he returned. He listened.
“Shit… I was hoping there’d be no more than two buildings. Must be more sophisticated than the usual… damn it…” he said. He thought for a moment, then nodded. “Ok… that’s what we’ll do.” Hayabusa put his arm out. “You lead the way.” He said. Hayabusa was prepared to follow, and make this part as stealthy as possible.

Once they were in the town perimeter Yukimura noted to Hayabusa about them being stealthy.
“Until that tower is out, everyone that dies does so silently.” Yukimura said. He continued walking and then paused for a moment. He looked at Hayabusa and then pointed to a tall building easily visible.
“Somewhere in there is our kin, rescuing them is up to you.” He respectfully bowed and headed right in the direction of the communication tower. He hid behind a tree able to view the two men standing guard.
“How long do you think they’ll be cooped up in there?” One guard asked laughing with the other.
“No more than a day. They’ve had no food are water.”
“Shit” Yukimura said. Though his curse was loud enough to startle the guards. He stood extremely still as they came around the corner. When the first one was in line of site Yukimura launched himself onto the guard and snapped his neck. Quickly he reached into the mans pouch and grabbed a kunai. Yukimura than launched to the other one pushing the kunai in his chest while cover his mouth. He sat there on top of the dead body for a bit panting. He hadn’t made much noise but if he was any louder they would have sure caught on to him.
“I have to get the tower down for Hayabusa.” Yukimura said. He grabbed the blade of the guard and walked up the stairs.

The control room was just as he thought three guards and two operating the system. Instantly he began his assault. He plunged the blade into one of the guards. He reached into his the dying guards pouch and retrieved four kunai which he threw at the other guards, two in each body.
“You push any button your dead” Yukimura said holding Kunai’s to both the operator’s throat. Yukimura than slit their throats anyways and continued on with his mission.
“Find the control button Yukimura” he said to himself as he looked for a button. Finally he got angry and grabbed the sword which was still lunged in the man’s chest and began slashing at the control system. The room went dark, a good sign of his work being completed. He then made his way to the roof of the building and looked down. He had to give Hayabusa a signal it was okay some how. He decided he would be flashy. He took two kunai and launched them at two of the men on the ground. Then Yukimura himself jumped off the building. He spinned for a bit and then his right fist came crashing down on an opponent.
“Leaf Thunder Fist” Yukimura yelled aloud.

Hayabusa hid behind a tree, waiting for Yukimura. He had been prepared to infiltrate if needed, but, luckily, it did not come to that. The whole way, Hayabusa kept a lock on his chakra. After he had been given the signal, Hayabusa had put his finger up to request he was given a moment before anymore action had been taken. As Hayabusa got into play trying to make visual contact with the inside, Hayabusa made the call for an attack to be made. He watched as two men dropped to the ground, and saw Yukimura jump out of the building.
“AN INTRUDER!” He heard the crowd of people yell. “FROM OUT OF THE CONTROL!”
“He must’ve taken out the control room… SEND A BIRD TO THE PERIMETER!” one man yelled. Hayabusa smirked. His early preparation for this worked out perfectly. Hayabusa waited, as majority of them, except two, who watched the door of the house, began to flock towards his partner. Hayabusa kept stealth, as he slowly proceeded. He took out two kunai and threw one each into the throat of the two men that were stationed. As he moved in closer, Hayabusa took his kunai out and knocked on the door.
“We’re not coming out!”
“Genshin… Hayabusa… we’re getting you out of here…” he said. He unstrapped one of the baskets from his back and dropped it by the door.
“Hayabusa?” he asked.
“Yes.. here’s a present for you I think you’ll love. He said, as he backed away and went back into hiding. People began to make a move on his partner, and to Yukimura, it may have looked as though Hayabusa abandoned him. Hayabusa watched as the door slowly opened. The tall, muscular, white haired man with one patch peered around the corner. He caught glimpse of Hayabusa. He looked down to the basket and put his hand on it. He then looked back up to Hayabusa in excitement. He came out completely, telling his teammates to stay until otherwise stated. Hayabusa smired, as he saw his old sensei perform a seal and his hands lit with chakra at the finger tips. Hayabusa’s eyes then did something he had never felt it do before. They implanted in him the intelligence and knowledge of what Genshin just did. It… copied. Hayabusa had only heard of such a thing. This was the first time he felt it. He smirked as he backed into the shadows.
Yukimura began to get overflocked, and time was running short for him. Genshin began taking out shinobi with the puppet’s flame throwers. Hayabusa put chakra into his hands, to his finger, then poured it into his box. Hayabusa smirked as the basket expanded and engulfed his whole body. Soon, it had been a base that was twice the size of a human body. From within, Hayabusa had saw the limbs and dragon head come to the outside. He had been in a puppet that was oversized, controlling it from the inside. It jumped in the air and dropped heavily between Yukimura and the remaining enemies. It’s head moving side to side, it blew out a flame that was devastating. It then extracted its tail, showing its sharp scorpion like features. It pierced through bodies, one by one. They continued the onslaught until it was all done.
