Legacy (2): Gennin Exam (RP)(S)

“You’re opting out?” Noboyuki yelled as he sat up across the room on his bed. Both he & Yukimura had decided to full on move out of the fire temple and share the 1 bedroom 2-bathroom home. Although it sounded small, there was enough space downstairs below for a training stage. The master bedroom itself had space to fit two medium sizes beds on either side of the room.
“I figured I may as well,” Yukimura said as he turned over in his bed to face the wall away from his brother, “They already know I can fight” He said.

The academy had offered each of the legacy children, as they were now often referred to, different ways to pace the exam. While Noboyuki & Mei-Lee insisted on showing their abilities, Yukimura had decided that would rather take a written exam to showcase his intelligence. More so the case, Yukimura had been thinking about what his brother might say if he realized that he’d been training more in secret alone. Rather than showcase everything he knew, Yukimura went with the safer option/
“It will be quick. And knowing you and Mei-Lee, You’ll both pass the exam anyways” Yukimura said quietly.

The next day had come and Yukimura arrived at the academy promptly at 8 a.m. In fact, he was so early he’d even beaten the examiner who showed up 10 minutes late.
“Geez kid, you don’t get any sleep?” He asked as he unlocked the doors to the academy. Yukimura smiled and responded politely.
“An early-“
“Yeah yeah yeah” The examiner interrupted as the door unlocked. Yukimura walked inside and found himself at his usual seat and took out paper and pencil.
“Okay, Since you’re here early Yukimura. I want you to write about your academy life.” The examiner said.

The academy life. Yukimura thought long and hard and realized that his academy life was nothing but a training session. He remembered coming into the academy and being forced to work twice or even three times as hard as the other kids. Noboyuki and he were especially trained in combat way earlier.
To be honest, the Academy felt like a boot camp. I was drilled into learning discipline. I’m going to probably end up becoming the apart of the Hokage’s special task force. Whatever it’s called if I keep going the way I’m going
Yukimura looked at his paper and laughed to himself. He then erased all that’ he’d already written.
It was good

“He’s clearly understanding that we’re watching him”
“What do you expect, You gifted him with the mind of Yukimura. You’ve even shaped him into Yukimura more by adding Mei-Lee into the picture. Although the Noboyuki thing is quite a twist”
“Whatever the case, He’s become a genin. Now is when the real case begins”
“You actually passed?” Noboyuki yelled as he watched his brother Yukimura tie his Red leaf headband around his forehead. After he finished, Yukimura tapped the headband on Noboyuki’s head.
“The actually admitted your special ed ass into the leaf Shinobi ranks?” He said. Both brothers laughed a bit, but they knew, their real journey was just beginning.
