The appointment had been set previously with a raven being flown out to the Leaf village. It was to be set up at moments of return because Yukimura couldn’t wait himself to undergo mission, and training to become a full fledge jounin.
When he arrived at the training field he took out one of the scrolls he found at the Sanada Dojo, which he had inherited from Hayabusa’s brother, and laid the scroll on the ground. When he unraveled the scroll there was a seal symbol. Yukimura performed the necessary hand seals and the placed his hand on the seal.
“Ninja art, Summoning Jutsu!” He yelled. From the symbol a large gunabai, or a giant war fan, attached by a long chain to a monk’s staff appeared. He planted the Gunbai with it’s Senju Crest hilt first into the field and also do the same with the Staff while the chained laid flat on the ground.
“The Senju clan,” Yukimura said as he dropped to the ground and began to rub his hands in dirt, “Yeah… That’s who I am. Yukimura Senju.”
The battlefield, although outside, was encased in a circular enclosure With a small stream no deeper than one meter cutting through the center. On Either side of stream were white stone rocks that helped guide her waters without touching the land. On the right side of the stream were three wooden posts. Most of the older ninja would have known that this spot had a connection to one of the previous Hokage, as well as a legendary Sanin in particular. Any of the case around the edge of the training field was a forest that wrapped all around the edge of the field which made the perfect place for hiding.
Yukimura studied the battlefield and took it all into his head.
“Ninja Tactics: 101” He said as he begun to remember all his training from the academy, “Survey the land. Note your tactical advantage.” He said to himself.

Yukimura surveyed the chunnin examiner. His tone automatically seemed condescending towards him, though Yukimura decided he wouldn’t let hit affect him. He rubbed his hands together and waited for the Chunnin examiner to motion for him to begin.
“Ninja Tactics: 101” Yukimura muttered, as he left his weapon on the ground and rushed towards the chunnin examiner, “Taijutsu” He said. A burst of speed gave him life, with the thrill of knowing he was fighting someone stronger than him, He’d called it his vanishing point ability. When his body reemerged from it’s after image, Yukimura was draw his fist towards the proctor aiming for a punch at his abdomen.

Yukimura easily evaded the kick as he moved backwards towards his weapon. It seemed the Chunin examiner’s endurance was a higher match than his own. Suddenly a fire of exciment began to burn within Yukimura.
“What was that?” Yukimura said mocking the Chunin examiner. The fire continued building up till Yukimura stood upright and slammed his fist into his palm. “Alright, I’m fired up!” He yelled. He then rushed towards the chunnin exam proctor and yelled out loud once more. “Leaf Style: Strong Fist!” He then would continue the same right fist thrust to the abdomen.

Yukimura managed to grab enough distance to grab his Gunbai and his Staff. He then would raise his Gunbai towards the incoming Kick.
“Rising Block!” Yukimura yelled. There was a bit of recoil that lowered him to one knee. But there, Yukimura saw his opening with the staff in his hand.
“Reverse strike!” He yelled back. The momentum from the kick he’d taken was then transferred over to the staff and would move to strike the man in his chest.

Most low rank mission are completed in 3-4 for man cells because they are menial tasks. Yukimura rested his tired arms from their stand still position and stared at the examiner for a moment.
“That’s it, I show off two techniques and I’m out?” He said. Although he was mad about the question, he was more so feeling incomplete. The chunin examiner was correct, He still had more to learn for sure, but were his skills enough to just be more than an academy student. He buried the Gunbai and staff into the ground for a moment and wiped the dust from his hands with his pants.
“Well, what now?” He asked.

Yukimura turned his head to the faces of the Hokage and realized what he had said. It was Jidai, and not only did the leaf have a new Hokage, there was going to be a new Defender. He walked over to the spot where the headband was waiting for him on the wooden post and grabbed it. After tying the headband around his forehead He turned back and clenched his fist once more.
“Your right. I do need to train to protect people. Someone has to protect the Hokage’s ass every once and a while” He said with a grin.
