Shan continued channeling the Nature Chakra with all of his clones for another minute. The Jounin looked on – not expectantly anymore. He had proven he could control Chakra, though he still wasn’t good at it. This became evident when Shan was forced to stand up. His clones were filled with Nature Energy as well.
 
The clones poofed out of existence and Shan felt the nature energy flood – and then leave – him. He was unable to control it all to that extent. One hundred clones gathering energy was simply too much for him. It would probably be too much for anyone.

“You aren’t half bad.” The Jounin said with a smile. “Names Rai. Your chakra control could still use some work – though I noticed you’re capable of using Kage Bunshin No Jutsu which is a rather advanced Jutsu, so you deserve some credit there.”
 
Shan nodded, feeling unusually pensive. Perhaps it had something to do with the nature energy he was currently holding. He wasn’t exactly sure why it would make him calmer, but he felt like he was.
 
“come with us and let’s practice Chakra Control. Maybe you can teach my pups something that I don’t know either. What village are you from?” Rai asked politely.
 
Shan shrugged as he said “Kumo” and walked towards the other two.

The other two waved energetically as Shan approached. They were both Kiri ninja – one had the same white hair as Makoto and the other seemed to melt the snow as she walked. That was an interesting phenomenon? Was it something to do with the type of chakra that she used? If so, then why did it happen continuously?
 
“Hey! Show us that thing you did!” The one with Makoto like hair spoke rapidly. Definitely not like Makoto. Not like Makoto at all.
 
“What thing?”
 
“The thing with the hundred other versions of you! It was cool!” White-Hair yelled. He was loud for a shinobi.

Shan sighed as he placed his hands together. “TAIJUU KAGE BUNSHIN NO JUTSU”. One hundred clones of Shan popped out of smoke. The two squealed as they saw the number.

“No way!”

“How!”

“I can’t believe you can make so many! And they’re real?!”

The two alternated in their shocked voices. Shan considered them. They were impressed by the clones – similar to Makoto…but…they lacked something. They weren’t the types that he could bring into his forming team. The team that he was beginning to contemplate a name for…Tartarus. They would be known as Tartarus.

“They’re real. They are useful in a fight – though not as strong as a real body.” Shan said, not telling them about the training aspects.

Shan and his one hundred clones trounced through the forest after the trio – two Genin and a Jounin, as it turns out. Shan was rightfully embarrassed when he discovered that this Jounin thought his skill level equal to these genin. Sure, he was effectively more powerful – but he was evidently lacking a large amount of chakra control if he was to be subjected to the same training as these two. At first, he thought the jounin was trying to demean him, but then he thought about it. It would make sense if he did have a weakness like that. He had lacked all proper training since being an Academy Student, after-all.
