Kori walked along the streets of Kiri. She loved her little town. Days like today were always one of her favorite days due to the light spray of mist that stayed in the air . Today, she was told she had a special training project that they were going to go do. Kori was especially excited because the Class Instructor had told them that this was normally reserved for Genin level students. That was what really had Kori in such a glowing mood. They were going to learn something amazingly complex. The only issue? They had to go outside Kiri to learn it.

That’s why the young Kunoichi walked along the path in Kiri that she had – admittedly – never taken before. She was heading for the gates. Her entire class would be heading that way as well, it just so happens that she was travelling alone. Well, she always travelled alone.

Still, they had to meet outside of Kiri instead of travel there as a class, which caused KJori’s brow to furrow and she huffed slightly despite her good mood as she walked. It saved time and she knew it was logical because of that, but it made her realize just how lonely it could be being a Junpaku.

Kori made it to the gate and waved at the jounin guarding it. They weren’t anyone that she knew – but most avoided those with pure white hair due to the Junpaku clan. It was a well known and commonly avoided feature of theirs. AS she approached, the two glared at her.

Of course, they would glare at her. Why wouldn’t they.

“Hi! My class is having a lesson outside of the town today. I was told that they would know and let me through.” Kori said in her most cheerful voice imaginable. It was cheerful. It had to be becaused she put her all in it.

The first of the men grunted their assent. Boy, was it a grunt. The other two stared even more venomously, and one went so far as to mutter the word “Junpaku” under his breath.

Kori’s face began to heat up as she walked through the gate that the trio opened. “How is it fair that someone can’t eve ngo on a class field trip without being accosted by shinobi of the village. I’ve done nothing wrong but they judge me based on my blood. It’s ridiculous!”

Kori shouted with all her might as she headed towards the clearing. She could see her teacher already.
