| Whaddup young world, I've been reading through the Jiin Clan, and there is a lot of redundancy on my part. For one, I didn't fully explain how one goes about unlocking the Tengan. I didn't go into detail about the Jiin's History. (Which originally was supposed to be revealed through Nagakoto Jiin's story lol lol.) Anyway, I'm revising my Jiin Clan to have a richer background and history, some nerfs, added quests, etc...) So that is what I'm doing currently, look for it. | |

| There is a lot of new information, so here's a summary:
[+] Added a "Lore" section [+] Added "Clan Ranks." This is only significant when it comes to completing Quests. [+] Added two more spots in the "Clan Spots" section. "Fire Dancers" and "Mutations." Mutations are originally what "Users of the Frozen Hell" were supposed to be called. But I never developed them and lost interest. Removed the "Auxillary" Spot, because that was just silly. [+] Tengan and its abilities were changed. Added more insight to how one unlocks their Tengan. Gave the Tengan a nerf, so it had a sense of progression. I gave the Tengan "Spectrum Vision" Since it can already have X-Ray and Thermal Vision I decided to add a few more wavelengths. Added the ability to help others maintain their body temperature. I buffed up its ability to cancel genjutsu to separate it from the ability "Kai." Got rid of the ability "Superior Tengan" again, it was silly. [+] Added the ability for clan uses to create their own Shinkaton. I was fine with this idea and allowed it in the past, but never put it on the clan page. [+] Revised Uchukaton. I tried to incorporate our new system with the idea that Uchukaton can still manage to hit even if it "misses." so by using the new roll system I made it into a High-Risk, High-Rewards kind a deal. Nakaie also had the ability of Ying-Yang Manipulation. Nakaie would later grant his Time Flames to a ruthless bandit by the name of Ogata Shinkichi, whom would found the mighty Ogata Clan. Yasuuji: The eldest of the Phoenix Gods Triplets. Yasuuji had a high affinity for light, and thus his fire had to the ability to bend light waves, making them seem invisible. He would grant his hidden fire ability to a young child, by the name of Imari Aeko. This young girl would become the Leader of the Imari Clan. Tametake (Nagakoto): The middle child and the brashest; his flames complimented his attitude quite well. Tametake's fire was gray and extremely adaptable and could take many forms and colors depending on his needs. Tametake would fall victim to a sealing jutsu performed by a priest by the Name Nagakoto that would have killed him, if it wasn't for Nagakoto's daughter, Ai. Her reverse seal turned him into a mortal boy. After Tametake had killed Nagakoto, he took his name and would lay the foundation of Iwagakure's Jiin Clan, named after his four lovers: Ai, Rei, Kasumi, and Ayame Jiin. Each of these girls would have a son Itake (The Brave), Usaso (The Wise), Keman (The Diligent), and Mosan (The Hidden) respectfully. These four boys were the first humans to have Phoenix blood in their veins and unlock the Tengan Tsushimi: The youngest of the Phoenix Triples. As far as temperament goes Tsushimi was the easiest to deal with; she specialized in the use of sacred ashes and could regenerate and become reborn at a much faster rate than her brothers. She would grant these same powers to a young priestess by the name of Uyeda Sago. .::The Four Phoenix Clans::. (From oldest to youngest)Ogata Clan: An extinct clan who was feared for their ability to use Time Flames. The bandit Ogata Shinkichi founded them. It was because of Shinkichi and his family's actions that the rest of the ninja world went on a purge to exterminate the Four Phoenix Clans. Since the Jiin is the only thriving clan left the plan was mostly successful. Imari Clan: It is unknown where the Imari Clan is at the moment, like many of the Phoenix Clans their numbers were reduced to only a handful of members. The members of this clan had the ability of Invisible flames, flames that could bend and distort light. The founder of this clan was a young 11-year-old girl by the name, Imari Aeko. Uyeda Clan: An extinct clan from the land of fire. Like the Jiin they were a clan of priests and priestess. The female members of this clan had the ability of reincarnation. However, it was too circumstantial for practical use. Founded by a priestess named Uyeda Sago. Jiin Clan: The Jiin is the only surviving clan out of the Phoenix Clans. There were able to avoid destruction mostly because they have the highest concentration of Phoenix power running through their blood. Their main gift was the Tengan, the Divine Eye and the ability to manipulate fire to fit their needs. Apparently, Nakaie hates the Jiin because of their Doujutsu, which looks similar to Nakaie's own eyes. Founded by the Phoenix Tametake (would later take the name Nagakoto) and his four sons.
Summary The Jiin were originally part of Konoha, working under the Uchiha as spies. They seemed to coexist well for a while before records show that the Jiin were forced out of Konoha. The reason for this move is purely speculation. Some say that the Jiin gained a higher Affinity for fire than the Uchiha, which made their Uchiha bosses angry and jealous. Other's mention that there was some tension between the Clan Leader's four sons and Uchiha girls. Now part of Iwa, the Jiin have been granted lands just outside the village limits. Their compound consists of four large temples, a top side and underground training facilities, and spacious living quarters for every clan member. Although it's not mandatory, the majority of Jiin are priests and priestess in the village hidden in stone, providing religious sermons and exorcisms to those in need. Concerning their Fire Affinity, there might be some truth to that. The Jiin can amplify basic fire attacks and increase their potency; this is shown by changing the fire to purple, blue, and white. Purple is the weakest of their Sacred Fires and white being the strongest, even if they don’t use their Sacred Fires their base fire is slightly stronger than anyone else's. The root of their strong affinity comes from their Doujutsu, The Tengan. The Tegan, or Divine Eye, was passed down to the Jiin from a Phoenix. The Tengan is seen as a blessing amongst the Jiin. It should be said, not all in the Jiin will unlock the Tengan, and there is no proven way to unlock it. Although generally, the process of unlocking it involves fire or large concentrations of light since the Tengan develops to protect the user's eyes from fire or light damage. These conditions have led to some of the more impatient Jiin to bring fire up to their faces. Sometimes their efforts pay off, and they unlock the Tengan, most of the time, however, they damage their eyes far beyond repair. The Tengan's primary focus is Flame and thermal control. It also allows the user to take in much more light, while at the same time not blinding them from too much exposure, this gives the user much more clarity in their vision. With the Tengan, one could notice even the smallest details. Lastly, it grants Spectrum Vision. Spectrum Vision gives the user a much more range of light that they can see and gives them a variety of applications. - Clan Information:
Location: Iwagakure/Earth Country Clan Ranks:Technically Jiin Shinobi carry two ranks, one that they hold in the village and another that they hold within the clan. Luckily it corresponds perfectly with the rank that they carry in the village. So, the only thing the clan member has to do is get promoted by the village, which will get them promoted in the clan. Archbishop | Kage equivalent- Never in Jiin history has there been an Arch-Bishop. Arch-Bishops have to be Kage of the village to be considered for the position of Archbishop. Since there has never been a Jiin Kage, most find this rank useless and defer to the judgment of High Priests and Temples. If one becomes Archbishop, they will become the acting leader of the Jiin. Keep in mind; High Priests holds a lot of power as well, literally and socially. High Priest | Jounin equivalent- High Priests are the embodiment of everything that the Jiin stand for. Diligence. Sacrifice. Nobility. These are just some of the words that should come to mind when mentioning a High Priest. At this rank, clan members are considered eligible to become Temples. Priest | Chuunin equivalent- Priests are clan members first taste at responsibility. It is at this rank they are expected to lead and teach young Acolytes what is expected of them. Acolyte | Genin and Academy Student equivalent- Acolytes are low-level members who usually help out with small tasks around the Jiin Compound. Tengan – Divine Eyes The Tengan is the Doujutsu of the Jiin Clan. It may be a watered down version of Nakaie's Tengan, but it is still strong enough for a human. At its basic level, it offers Limited Night Vision and Clarity. As The Tengan gets stronger, the user will gain the ability to see different light wavelengths. - Forbidden Katon Type:
Uchukaton [Cosmic Fire Release] Cosmic Fire is the flames of outer space. These fires are pitch black with bright nebulae-like along the tips. Uchukaton is so intense that it doesn't need to hit directly to feel the heat. Of course, this is also a problem for the user as they are subjectable to the heat as well. Cosmic flames are unique in the way that they don't need oxygen to burn, and they can only be put out by the same Tengan that caused them. The Jiin guard the mysteries of the Cosmic Flame with extreme diligence. Eligible clan members are taken to one of the four temples, where they will be subjected to extreme starvation, thirst, and heat. While they are undergoing this punishment, they are required to meditate. Not just on themselves, but the universe and how they fit in it as well. By meditating under these extreme conditions, the clan member gains enlightenment and a new passion; the Tengan converts this understanding and passion into Uchukaton. Uchukaton Techniques should be used tactically, as performing them incorrectly will do more harm to the user than opponents. Even performing them correctly will present a hazard to everyone in the immediate area. This is why All Uchukaton Techniques are considered "Forbidden." Unlocked: Must become a "Temple." Nensho [Combustion] Nensho is an eye technique used in the same manner as Tsuiho; only this is used on living targets. Through Thermal Manipulation the user raises the temperature of their opponent to the point where their body suddenly bursts into flames. This attack is very sudden and unexpected. It can easily catch an opponent off guard. Tengan: Trial of the Phoenix The Trial of the Phoenix is something that every Jiin wants to go through, and yet it something that they all dread. As mentioned previously, during the trial the clan member is deprived of food and water for several days, until the brink of death. At this point, either they will succumb to their injuries and die, or they will reach a metaphorical "Nirvana." The Trail of Phoenix fixes the Jiin's mutation problem. | Kogeta Clan
The Kogeta have been a suna village clan for a long time, they at one time served the Kazekage but that was long ago. Too many rogue ninja started coming out of their clan and they fell out of favor for the kazekage’s advisors. Since that time the Kogeta have attempted to instill a fierce loyalty in their younger generations as well as the secrets of the clan. Kogata ninja have a natural affinity for the Shakuton combination element and most are born with the katon and fuuton, the stronger ones are also naturally good at Scorch release. The Kogeta however are still somewhat bitter at the clans from the hidden leaf, even now instilling at least a mild distrust of the leaf ninja and at worst an utter resentment. This is due to a past experience of being nearly wiped out by one of the prominent clans of the leaf.

| I’ve taken the time to review and fix the clan up for you. Please take a look at what I’ve done and removed I will also list the reasons as to why it was removed and what we can see together in making an agreement. - Removed - Clan Head’s Effect – Reason: Clan Head or Leaders even on site clans do not give a bonus, as its more so a rank or personal rank that one can give or be assigned if its opened. - Optional - Clan Techniques can be ranked or they can be a “?” Rank which causes them to get a “X” Amount of cost. But they cost must be reasonable it cannot be 3 effects and destroy a village and cost 1%. Kogeta Clan The Kogeta have been a suna village clan for a long time, they at one time served the Kazekage but that was long ago. Too many rogue ninja started coming out of their clan and they fell out of favor for the kazekage’s advisors. Since that time the Kogeta have attempted to instill a fierce loyalty in their younger generations as well as the secrets of the clan. Kogata ninja have a natural affinity for the Shakuton combination element and most are born with the katon and fuuton, the stronger ones are also naturally good at Scorch release. The Kogeta however are still somewhat bitter at the clans from the hidden leaf, even now instilling at least a mild distrust of the leaf ninja and at worst an utter resentment. This is due to a past experience of being nearly wiped out by one of the prominent clans of the leaf.

Dehydration - The clan is naturally dry and they suck the moisture out of the air around them, this is actually a defense against mechanism against water attacks and it manages to protect them without effort on their part. Effect: Suiton DMG Halved + Suiton Combination DMG -25% [x0.25]
Element Mixing - Mix one or two elements together creating a new and powerful element that cannot be beaten by normal means. Type: Passive Effect: Fuse 2 or more Elements.

Scorching Wind This technique appears to be normal wind style at first, but the burning heat reveals it for what it is, a large wave of dehydrating chakra. This secret technique is designed to eat other techniques and gain power. Type: Offensive Hand Seal + Rank: 4 + A Effect: Scorch Control = Direct Damage | Absorb Damage from [Katon and/or Fuuton]
