Raijin couldn’t help but laugh at Grave’s response about how they managed to get into shit all the time together, he looked at him and patted him on the shoulder, “yes… yes we do, I just hope this is one of those that I can pull our ass out of.” Raijin said as he looked at him now with a serious look on his face after he heard the fact another leader was mentioned, “you know I’ll back you up brother, when I have I not?” he asked a gain as he sighed.

While they continued to walk for a bit Raijin couldn’t help but feel uneasy about this meeting, there were things that continued to pull at him from every direction that caught his attention, he glanced around and picked up on the gear certain shinobi we’re wearing around them as they made their way towards administration building before he sighed again, “it’s just your imagination…” Raijin thought to himself before he looked back to his brother again, “so much rain.” Raijin murmured to himself as he wondered about why it never stopped, there was a legend behind it, but he didn’t care for the legends, his name was a legend already all in its own.

After a bit Raijin looked over to Hiken, “mind telling me how much further? I’m getting a bit antsy about what’s going on around here.” Raijin asked before he looked to Grave again.

Hearing his brother laugh cracked a smile across his face as he knew why they laugh was brought out. Grave just shook his head allowing things to continue. As he mentioned that he would pull them out Grave just shook his head saying, "Look we are in this together so there is no you pulling our ass out there is we will pull our ass out of it all." With the serious glancing going back at Raijin, Grave set his sights on getting everything checked and complete. Knowing his brother would watch his back all the way Grave nodded with a smirk on his face. As they continued walking for a bit more.

Grave didn't get bothered by the rain nor the distances left in getting to the building the plan was simple and it was a positive look into it all really. Grave's attention was set on getting things done for the country. As he need a stable way of controlling the country in building up a military now was the time to decide how to get things done. Grave whispered light over to Raijin, "After all of this we need to finish talking about something…" It was not long until Raijin had asked Hiken how much longer they had before getting to the building. Shaking his head he couldn't believe Raijin asked that as he just suddenly went out and asking that.

"Raijin…I'm sure we'll get there when we can if anything we shouldn't rush things at all honestly. We have no idea why they really want us even more so… we are in their country so let's just respect that having decided to kill us off is all."

Raijin looked over at Grave and laughed, “Makes sense, we always seem to pull our way out of some pretty messy situations.” He said, he looked off into the distance and finally saw a building ahead of them and nodded before he looked back to Grave again, “I guess we can talk about it later when we find ourselves alone if we ever are alone.” Raijin replied to his later comment about them talking later on, it made him worry about what needed to be said but he then just shrugged his shoulders before he turned his attention to the direction they were heading in.

Looking over at Grave again he sighed as they got closer to the building, “I wasn’t trying to be rude, I was just asking a simple question, why you so testy lately?” Raijin said as he had a serious look on his face now as well, he shrugged his shoulders again shaking some of the rain off before he finally noticed something different about the rain, “well, now that’s interesting, I’m surprised I never noticed it before.” Raijin said before he looked up to see the doors to the building.

Walking into the building Raijin glanced around the building for a bit as they entered, it looked nice before Hiken showed them into an office where an old man and young lady sat in wait, Raijin walked in and looked around the office before he nodded to Hiken, “thanks for showing the way.” He said before he vanished, Raijin removed his samurai’s helmet and stood at the end of the table, “It’s a pleasure to meet you Yutaka, and Ame.” Raijin said before he bowed, “My name is Raijin.” He said as he stood back up before he finally got a good look at Ame, something about her caught his attention, and it seemed they caught hers as well when she greeted them.

Raijin now stood there and looked at Yutaka and listened to his problems while he sat down now, once a portal was mentions Raijin looked at Yutaka more seriously now as he was curious more so now than before. Raijin couldn’t help but chuckle a bit before he held his hand up a bit now, “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be rude at all, but you’re willing to trust two complete strangers to enter sacred ground, within your mean speak about dangers of giant flying lizards…” Raijin said before he turned and looked over at Grave, then back to the leader Yutaka.

Grabbing the map and looking at it he dropped it back on the table before he leaned back in the chair, looking up at the ceiling tile Raijin looked back over to Grave, “here’s your chance, by the way, she’s cute.” Raijin whispered as he leaned over towards Grave, he moved his helmet on top of the map as he remained leaning back in his chair. Raijin ran the information given to them through his head over and over again, “lizards, giant, flying, squads gone…” he thought to himself before he sat forwards, “well Grave, you want to say anything while we’re meeting with the leader?” Raijin asked looking at Grave now as he wondered what the reaction of the leader would be to Grave’s request.

Sitting there still he grabbed the map and glanced at it without opening it up yet, “it doesn’t seem like we have much of a choice in this matter but that remains to be unseen that I can sense all their shinobi guarding the room.” He thought to himself as he felt pressured into this deal, it seemed almost rather unfair for them but then again, they always could just vanish using their own form of a portal.

Raijin now sat there and wondered about what could possibly be within the portal of these sacred grounds that could possibly scare the living crap out of shinobi, trained to fight against pretty much all odds, but to make them scared that bad, what could it be? Raijin just sighed and shrugged his shoulders.

Grave started for a moment with Raijin coming to agree with what was said before about them getting out of a shitty ass situation. As they finally made it to the building Grave watched carefully as they were escorted towards the office of the village leader but thinking about it he came to remember something that was said to him by Raijin. Turning his attention smiling saying lightly, "Hey now I may seem like I'm testy but I'm just having a lot on my mind is all." Grave smiled with his eyes closed knowing he was giving a fake smile trying to allow himself to not show he was worried about the outcome of the meeting still.

Knowing it was a simple question Grave did seem like he was acting a bit strange before saying, "I'm sorry I did not mean to be like that to you or anything I was just saying to be a little watchful is all. Never know how others will take the meaning we are giving if we ask random questions let's just get in an out as fast as possible." Grave said lightly staying focus on what was in front of him. Hearing the words from Raijin that he noticed something about the rain it was strange for him to even know what it could mean. Yet it may have something to do with the fact he had learn to use Suiton before him. This was different allowing him to improve himself if anything.

As they walked into the building for a bit the building seemed nice for them even though Hiken showed them to the office as they waltz in. Grave had his staff out by his side this time just in case something was going to happen. Looking at the details of the office before noticing the young female and old male. Grave raised an eyebrow curious about this scene. As the man introduce himself Grave looked around for a bit before hearing Raijin speak. Watching his brother bow before them. Grave nodded his head and kneeled before them showing respect in his own way., "Its truly and honor to meet another village leader… My name is Grave from Kumo. The honor of meeting you and your daughter seems to be faith sir." Grave stood up quickly keeping an eye contact on the leader carefully watching his every movement. Grave had noticed that Hiken had left a while back with the others leaving them all to talk. It seemed to be rather important for whatever the meeting was about.

Overhearing the problem that the village was facing seemed odd. As a portal or something would open like that. Grave continued to stand watch Raijin's reactions. The sound of a portal still got Grave curious as to it as well. Having men enter and never returning yet another squad going and returning only with a hand full seemed odd and abnormal for anything to happen. Grave turned his attention over to hear that Raijin speak his opinion about things before Grave closed his eyes crossing his arms thinking about it as well. Trusting two complete strangers seemed a little hard to believe but it seemed to make some sense cause of the fact. If Raijin and himself died nobody would look for us and thought we went KIA or MIA. With Raijin's chuckle from before Grave was still thinking about it all really.

Grave sighed lightly saying lightly to the leader Yutaka, "Sir my brother is correct trusting us to enter you're village's sacred ground…not only that sending two man cell into a portal from which a sixteen man cell went coming back with only a few. Not to mention some that have become somewhat useless because of fear. I cannot lie that I do not understand your concern but it’s a suicide mission that you are asking us to do just to earn a bit of trust. Flying lizards for that matter I can hardly believe that seeing as we have never heard of such a thing." Making his attention over to Raijin Grave kept his eyes closed thinking for a moment. "I would say no to this mission because of the risks it gives." Grave turned away opening his eyes slowly gaining a small smirk on his face as he turned to notice a map on the desk reaching for it. Grave smiled hearing his brother say that the young female was cute and showing his chance. It was true for a moment yet he still thought about the outcome of the mission.

Taking his map and placing within his robes Grave smiled saying, "I'll accept your mission…however I'd like to make my own request…if we come back alive from this mission you must become allied with my country." Grave smirked knowing the answer of trust but then shook his right finger into the air saying, "And I do not mean the Lightning country… I mean the Hikari country…we could use strong allies and since you are having us go on this small little chase it seems to be only fair." Grave noted to Raijin sensing something off about the room if they declined from the mission. It was a one way choice it seemed as if they declined the end was sure to happen. Though Grave knew this mission was possible a trap "Limbo" was an easy escape from things if allowed to perform a jutsu in the time frame. The thought finally crossed Grave once as he finally relaxed his mind about the fact he was dealing with beasts that were lizards that fly and took out a squad of men.

Sighing heavily, "It seems we are at a cross roads If you accept that offer in return of us going on your mission. I'll also bring back information as to what truly happen within this forsaken portal." Grave knew he through an offer that the leader could not refuse as one getting information to the families was the upmost importance to the village even in lightning country. Even more so finding out how the portal was formed allowed it all to come into the point if he and Raijin died things would not be solved until the next one. The next squad would fall to whatever took the other men, "Raijin…let's get going we have a mission to clear and I rather not keep him waiting." Grave turned heading for the door feeling as though the choice he made was the only one and gave the leader no other option but to accept the request that was given to him by Grave.

As the meeting continued it was all serious and delirious conversations that lead from one thing to another after another, it was all starting to get rather interesting he had to admit. While Grave was now speaking and taking his turn, Raijin couldn’t help but think about the clues and ideas that were given but not to the degree they were needed in but in a completely different way what so ever, he looked into the eye holes in his helmet and sighed heavily as he did so, something was up with the whole fact that this mission was really a death sentence and that in its own killed Raijin’s interest into the mission itself.

Looking at Grave as he spoke now about how Raijin was right he nodded and continued to think about it, “if you think about it, it’d have to be something monstrous and giant in size completely, to strike the fear of the Gods like that into a full grown man, let alone a shinobi, so whatever it is, you better be willing to pay his and my cost, I have a different fee for after I return.” Raijin said after Grave before he sighed and stood up, “I suppose we should deal with it then, seeing as they give us no option having their men surrounding us in a room if we say no, such black mail, I think the costs just doubled for when we return.” Raijin said, he didn’t care if he was being rude or undignified, they threatened him and his brother, no one was allowed to harm Grave, no one, unless they seek death.

Picking up his helmet and the map he looked out at the window before he smirked, “so that’s what you guys did to sense us so fast, I finally figured it out fully.” Raijin said as he looked back to the leader, “Very clever, but not for a suiton user like me.” Raijin replied before he sighed, “anyways Grave, let’s get going I guess.” He said as he turned to follow Grave on their newly acquired quest of dominating the village’s nightmare.

Following out the door with Raijin; Grave had smiled noticing about the rain as well but was more interested into how it worked out for him. 'A cloak of rain that detects…like a barrier…now that is interesting I wonder if its possible to use it with any other element besides just rain water.' Taking interesting into the technique Grave shook his head a moment knowing he had to move on to more important things. The fact that Raijin had charged the leader with more than a fair price in doing this mission. It seemed more than fair to Grave for him to do so. Seeing as they were going on a death mission for a country they were not even a part of.

Sighing heavily as Grave took his time to walk out the office. The priest looked at his own map for a moment noting everything within the village to get to the tower. Once he finished scanning the map and remembering it carefully he slid it back into his robes walking off. Heading down the hall lightly making his way, "Raijin…I'll meet you there I rather we get this done without having to worry so much about other things," Grave's attitude changed a bit as he was more worried for the village then his own life again. But remembered the battles where Raijin protected him. This time they were going to be on a same playing field.

Walking out the administration's building Grave glanced around for a moment as he was starting to get wet from the rain water. He glanced around for a moment to get a feel for the area before walking off towards the Tower of the Dead. It was rather interesting to the young priest to be going to the land of the dead. Though he felt no ill will towards the spirits of any country. Grave's respected the nature of everything as he enjoyed rainy days and sunny days. But it was the rain that truly brought about pain for him as he was having flashes of his childhood that day for him happen. Zoning out for a bit he could only focus on the past events until he suddenly shook his head coming to the tower.

The rain landed on his cheeks only to slide down gracefully like tears from his own eyes. Though he was sad to even be at the location. "Just beyond this point…is something that caused pain to others." Muttered Grave as he walked inside to notice a strange vortex opened within the center of the tower. "I told Raijin to meet me so he'll know what happens to me if anything." Smiling at this Grave got the excited moment as he darted over jumping into the portal not thinking what could be on the other side. But whatever he faced couldn't be as bad then dealing with the reality he was living in now. As his body made contact with the portal he vanished within a snap like going through the portal leading to Limbo.

- Leaped into the Portal

Raijin walked through the offices with Grave as he glanced around, his attention was more focused on the windows as well before he let out a soft sigh, “what is it that scared those men so badly though…” he thought to himself before he closed his eyes and thought about it before they left the building Raijin looked back to Grave and nodded, “I suppose if you want to meet up I guess there’s no harm in it, besides I want to see one of these effected shinobi.” Raijin replied before he stopped and turned to where the hospital was, he sighed as he did so before he turned and walked off towards the hospitals location.

Once Raijin got to the hospital the receptionist looked at him and stood up, “Can I help you?” the receptionist asked, Raijin looked at her and nodded, “I need to see one of the injured shinobi that came back recently, it’s important I talk with the most healthiest one.” Raijin said, she shook her head, “sir, we can’t allow you to bother them, their all mentally unstable and seriously if not gravely injured.” She said denying his request to get in there, sighing heavily Raijin looked at the receptionist again, “Miss, your denying someone who’s a Samurai and a Jounin.” He replied, she looked at him and shrugged her shoulders, “and this is a hospital, if you want to interrogate someone who’s injured or mentally unstable, then you’re in the wrong location.” She replied said before she finished the conversation sitting back down and going back to work.

Raijin sighed as he turned around, “I wasn’t going to do anything of the sort…” he said as he walked out of the hospital before he looked up into the rain before he sighed heavily again, “this is so fucking annoying! Why can’t I get any information when I should be allowed to in order to do this mission to keep them all safe…” he said as he clenched his fists looked up to a roof top to see a shinobi standing there, he shrugged his shoulders and pointed towards the portal’s location before he heard his stomach rumble again, he sighed and turned to walk towards a quick and easy food stall booth.

Sitting down he looked over at the cook behind the bar he sat at, “I’d like some ramen please, extra helpings, it might be my last meal.” Raijin said as he sighed removing his helmet before he noticed the shinobi come in beside him, he nodded, “hell give him one as well, I’m feeling generous today.” He added, the man nodded before he turned around and started to cook the meals, Raijin sighed as he sat there before he got a bottle of sake from the man, “seeing as it might be your last meal, I don’t see the harm in allowing you to enjoy the pleasures of being a man.” He said with a wink, Raijin looked over to the shinobi and he nodded, “might as well.” Raijin said as he took a small sip after pouring some into a cup for him and the shinobi he was with.

Taking a small sip from the sake he shook his head, “wow that’s got a kick to it.” He said as he laughed a bit, before long the bottle was empty, but Raijin only had a glass, he was still sober and functional, he stood up and placed money on the bar for the man with an extra tip again, “I suppose it’s time to get going, I don’t want to keep my brother waiting on me too long.” Raijin said as he stood up and started walking through the village, smiling as he passed the children playing in the streets as they watched him walk through the streets, his helmet in his hand as he walked forwards, “this is a nice village, I might return here later on if I make it out.” Raijin thought to himself as he neared the villages sacred grounds before he pulled out the map and glanced at it as he walked into the tower, he sighed before he stopped looking at the portal before he placed the map in his pouch on the back of his waist.

Walking up to the portal he looked at it and sighed before he put his helmet on and withdrew his Kusunagi katana from its sheath as he walked into the portal.

Portal Entered

Walking in through the portal Raijin looked around as he held his sword out before he noticed Grave, “Ah, glad to see you here, what’s going on?” he asked before he heard the loud roar, “what in the Gods name was that?” he added as he looked around before noticing the sudden change in scenery fully now, “ruins? Ancient as hell too by the looks, but where?” Raijin asked after looking around for a few moments.

Where were they, something seemed really off about this world to Raijin, looking up to the sunlight Raijin ran up one of the poles of the ruins tall structure to stand at the top in a hunched down like position before he looked around, wondering, curious, “where… in the seven hells are we?” Raijin said before he looked down to Grave, “we’re not in Ame anymore, that’s for damn sure and I don’t recognize any of these lands at all.” He added as he looked around, “this is getting worse and worse by the minute…” Raijin murmured to himself before he dropped down landing on the ground.

“So far I can only sense you and myself for chakra, I don’t know why but I can’t locate any other source right now, weird…” Raijin added as he looked around again, something was way wrong and this location wasn’t making it any better. Raijin looked over at Grave, “well, any ideas?” he asked.

As Grave appeared from the portal first he glanced around a bit noticing the old designs of the ruins. Titling his head confused about the designs he was unsure as to where the ruins were from. After a while of looking the young brother Raijin suddenly appeared with his blade out. Hearing Raijin be happy that he had made it to the other side Grave smiled turning his head with a snap as he heard the loud roar as well. Quickly getting in a defensive stance he glanced around a bit. But he was in the same boat with Raijin. The question Grave was thinking was the same as the one Raijin asked. "I…I don't know honestly…" Noting about the ruins Grave had agreed about them as well being ancient but also different from anything he's seen before.

"Raijin…I don't know where they came from but it seems this portal was opened by mistake. I think something or someone is behind it and the only way to find out is to venture deeper into this place." Grave watched as his brother ran up the pole to get a better view of things. Grave awaited for the information from his brother. Seeing as they were not in Ame Country anymore and Raijin did not know the lands. Grave turned to glance at the portal carefully. "I think…its like Limbo…we must be in a different location because of the way it wrapped us." Thinking to himself for a moment he sighed only to turn seeing Raijin had landed behind him.

Asking for ideas Grave only had one left, "Let's continue onward…I'm sure we'll find something or someone here at least that can explain what is going on." Grave stood by Raijin for a split second before walking off ahead of his brother. With the staff out something seemed off about the land as well but Grave couldn't place his finger on it just at the moment. Even thought Raijin could sense chakra better than Grave why was it only their chakra he could feel.
