Kusa - Solo Quest[ Fangs of the Snake ]

“Who is that?” Inshitsu suddenly twisted to see the source of the noise. It came from someone that was obscured behind crates. Inshitsu quickly ducked behind the crates that were on either side of his body. The person who came from behind the crates was one of the men that helped seal the blade in a crate. Inshitsu watched as the man came right next to him to investigate the opened 975-5xxxx crate. Inshitsu could see the eyes of the man widened as the man removed the lid of the crate. The man seemed to be at a loss of words at the blade’s disappearance.

Inshitsu panicked as he grabbed the back of the man’s neck from his hiding spot. “Wha-?” The man couldn’t finish his words. Inshitsu pulled the man down to the side of the crate and slammed his head against the crate, splintering the crate into huge pieces. Inshitsu quickly darted from the room as he heard the other man come into the room. Inshitsu heard the man shout after him, but he couldn’t hear the words that he said. Inshitsu tripped on to the floor of the room that was connected to the outside. Inshitsu saw the shadow of a man hovering over him, enlarging.

Inshitsu rolled to the side causing the man who was trying to tackle him to land on the ground roughly. Inshitsu quickly got to his feet. He felt a hand on his foot and as he twisted he saw that it belonged to the man that tried to tackle him. Inshitsu took the wrapped blade and shoved the end into the back of man’s neck. Inshitsu felt the hand release his leg as he snapped the man’s neck with the impact of blade. Inshitsu quickly ran out of the door, seeing the other man entering from the warehouse of smuggled goods.

Inshitsu sprinted across the street and started to climb the building, putting the blade into his mouth. Inshitsu’s right hand withdrew from where he was going to place it from a rock hitting the building there. Inshitsu could see out of the corner of his sight the man was about to throw more rocks at him. Inshitsu was not going to tolerate his rocks, and he jumped off the building and rushed the man. The man looked taken back and tried to turn around. However before he could, Inshitsu spun and did a roundhouse into the man’s gut. The man gasped for air as he hit the ground grabbing his stomach.

Inshitsu stood looking at the man as he struggled to do anything. Inshitsu took the blade out of his mouth. Inshitsu started to unwrap the wrapping on the blade. He stopped as he heard feet stomping further down the street. He rewrapped the blade, ran back to the building across the street, and he started to climb the building. Inshitsu managed to push himself to the roof. Inshitsu saw a squad of policemen round the corner and stop when they got to the building. Two of them started to investigate the man on the ground, and the others walked into the building.

Inshitsu stared as neighbors of the surrounding buildings started to come out to peek onto the scene. The police started to block off the building as they realized what building contained. Inshitsu gripped tightly onto the Kusanagi no Tsurugi as he started to slowly back away from the situation on the ground. Inshitsu sprinted across the building’s rooftops to get back to his resting spot to properly secure the blade. Inshitsu got back to his resting building and set the blade behind a vent that was next to the edge of the building. Inshitsu laid on his back on the roof top of the building as he drifted into a light sleep to make sure he didn’t get ambushed by anyone seeking the blade.
