~ Kyuubi's Shrine ~ {Hayabusa}

The following morning, after having his wounds treated from the battle with his potentially new, yet former, partner, Hayabusa embarked with all of his weaponry in order to fend off any threats if need be. He had Nora, one of the members in his community, to prepare him a spray bottle with flammable gasoline in it. He planned to claim the Valley of the End for himself. The beginning of what could be a creation of an organization. He had thought about creating a team in the back of his mind. Claiming territory is where he would begin this idea.

As he carried this can towards the territory that he wanted to claim as his territory, simply because it had been historical, a landmark, beautiful with a waterfall, and unclaimed, Hayabusa notice a path off of the usual path to this place. It had been somewhere he hadn’t been before. He had been an adventurer, therefore, his first instinct had been to take the path. The Valley of the End will still be there, waiting for him to scorch an imprint to show he has marked this land. As he walked down this path, he noticed that something very weird.

The path had been clean… as if nobody had ever taken this path. There had been no footprints whatsoever. It seemed to be a path that was avoided. With this, Hayabusa became a little more intrigued on what could be at the end of this path. Following it cautiously, Hayabusa could not sense anything wrong with his surroundings, but nevertheless… he had not been a sensory ninja, therefore, he didn’t leave this to chance. He kept his one hand on the gasoline can, and another on the hilt of his katana that he kept, gifted from his mother long ago.

He got to the end of this interesting path to find that there had been what seemed to be an old abandoned temple. “Come if you dare, human…” Hayabusa raise an eyebrow.
“Assuming I’m human…” Hayabusa said. He put the gas bottle down in the corner of a knee high wall and a post. He proceeded towards the temple. “What if I’m a squirrel or something like that…” he said, chuckling to himself. Hayabusa felt this heading on this temple had been more or less a challenge to him. He approached the grand huge opening of the temple with caution.

He felt a draft come from out of the large temple. He could of swore that he heard the low grumbles of something huge within it. With his hand on his katana, he took one step in to the temple. The moment he did so, he felt he heard what seemed to be a distant roar from a beast only similar to that of the beast that killed his mother. He was slowly stricken with fear before he realized that he was no longer a kid. He changed his demeanor to stern and brave before he proceeded into the dark.

When he got further in, he heard an engulfing of flames. He turned around to see that the entrance in which he had come in had been blocked off by flames that burned so vigorously, they took the color of black. Hayabusa slowly closed his eyes.
“Desperate times calls for desperate measures…” he said to himself, as he slowly opened his eyes, revealing his Sharingan, now with Two Tomoe about its radius. Hayabusa could see lingering chakra in the air. But, it seemed as though this chakra had been everywhere. He continued walking down the dark path he was on…

He had then come to what seemed to be a maze. There were endless doors. He began to slowly walk in one to realize that this place was one big labyrinth. He walked around for a bit before the temple rumbled. And explosion of flames came from the path he hand take before, high, about five feet from the ground. Hayabusa looked back at it. Not a minute later, another flame grew from the walls.
“Shit…” Hayabusa came to the realization that the whole temple would be engulfed in flames. There were many ways Hayabusa could die in this temple.

He could either get burned to death, suffocate, or overheat. This was not good. As he began to scramble around to look for an exit, Hayabusa could not find any dissimilarities between the room he was in, the one before, or the one after it. For about five minutes, he traveled.
“What… the hell did I get myself into here…” he said to himself. He went into a run, as the explosions of fire began to come at a greater rate than that of which they were before hand. The whole first half that he traveled was now in flames.

The moment he turned another corner, he fell into the path of the exploding flames. He had went in a circle, and the moment he turned that corner, the wall blew out a flame in an explosion, sending Hayabusa tackling the ground. He could feel the scorching heat of the flames above him. He began coughing. As he crawling, trying not to get burned, Hayabusa realized the whole path before him had been engulfed. He could not stand. As he lay on the ground as if to give up, he smelled something against the wall that was pretty familiar now.

“Gas?” he questioned. He then went from concerned look to a look of relief or discovery. “Gas!!!” he said. He backed away from that wall. He looked up to the flames. “I see… that’s why that’s so high… it’s a riddle.” Hayabusa performed a few seals before putting his hand up to his mouth and blowing out his Great Fire Ball jutsu. It hit the spot in which Hayabusa caught a hint of scent of gasoline. The moment that the flames hit that spot, the temple in which seemed to no more than a dangerous riddle and gamble became solved.
